The service here is 10/10 and the rooms are nice and come with a nespresso machine. Beautiful hotel overlooking the Marina with a great place for meals overlooking the Marina. I stayed here for a stunning wedding at the Ritz! Amazing job by the team here all around.

Title: Disappointing Service Experience at Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey

My recent stay at the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey left much to be desired. While the property itself was satisfactory, boasting all the amenities one would expect from a luxury hotel, the service fell egregiously short of the renowned Ritz Carlton standards.

In particular, one individual named Jesus stood out for all the wrong reasons. His lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service etiquette was astonishing and deeply disappointing. It's disheartening to encounter such a stark departure from the high standards typically associated with the Ritz Carlton brand.

Despite the comfortable accommodations and picturesque surroundings, the overall experience was marred by this significant flaw in service. It is my hope that the management addresses these issues promptly to uphold the reputation of the Ritz Carlton brand and ensure that future guests do not encounter similar disappointments.

Although impressive on the outside and upon entering, the rooms are not anything close to luxurious, even on the club level floors. The shower pressure was terribly low and the hot water was inconsistent. The only thing about the room that was very nice was the espresso machine. Housekeeping did a fantastic job each day, check in counter associates were very friendly and quick with service. The outdoor restaurant seating has beautiful views of the marina and the wait staff was always attentive and accommodating. The bar seats are heavy and placed very close together so kind of awkward squeezing into an empty seat but the drinks are well made. Valet was always very quick and thoughtful especially when Ubers came for pick up they would check the name and open the doors. That was greatly appreciated.

This is the third time we stay at this fine establishment. The staffs are always helpful and attentive. With their Destination Passport package that includes free Academy Museum tickets, free drinks, food and beverages credits plus free on-site activities, you'll have plenty of things to do. And the location is close to water and majority of LA attractions.

However the building, rooms, room decors and included amenities are trailing some other hotels. The hotel is still nice but it's no longer worth the rate they are asking for.

Old and tired. Great location but can't compete with modern luxury hotels. Service is what you would expect, but overall needs a refresh in both decor and tech. Room had decent view but was insanely dusty.

At the ritz Carlton there is an amazing cook chef Melanie. She truly know how to cook and proves it 100%. The amount of love and passion she has. I highly recommend this place. Melanie 100% deserves a raise for her compassion of cooking food. Please give her one. She truly is an amazing employee, I am truly happy to have her as part of the ritz Carlton team. Mel this for you ????????????????

Disappointing stay. Stayed for 4 nights. I thought atleast the hospitality would be top class in this worn-out hotel, but I was wrong. The woman who checked me in has to be trained well. No greetings, no smile. In-room work desk drawer was empty. Spoke with few guests and looks like this hotel gets filled up by corporate bookings so the guests who rate 5 stars don't actually pay for their rooms. Bell men did not turn up to collect my luggage while check-out despite waiting for 45+ mins. Only positive is the hardworking housekeeping staffs who try to save this hotel from renovation. This hotel is a shame for The Ritz-Carlton brand.

Second time at Marina del Rey (January 2024)

We recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Ray for the second time - first visit was about 2 years ago.

The location of the property for someone looking to visit L.A. without being <> is fantastic - you are a quick car ride/Uber to many things around, but can relax at the same time in a resort-feel hotel setting.

The property is well maintained and the rooms are well appointed; not the most modern of properties but well kept/clean.

The team is very friendly and made the stay enjoyable, as well as the wonderful team who works at the Cast & Plow restaurant - you must have one meal there at least.

Can't wait to come back soon

Don was amazing and that's coming from a Marriott Titanium member. He was kind, knowledgeable, and most of all, offered world-class service. Don, you deserve a 6th star and a raise. However, Don no longer works here. During this past stay, I was met by Chris & another Chris at the front desk, both of whom were not helpful, incorrect about the terms and conditions, and borderline rude. I used to love this hotel but since Don's departure, everything seems to be going downhill. I wish I could keep my 5 star review but this stay was far from that. It gets three stars because of the good memories, despite this stay being 1 star.

Tough check in.

Staff seems lacking in Customer care department.

Rooms are tired and dirty. The experience is so so so I advise skipping it.

Went for Brunch at the restaurant on a Sunday. Chicken and Waffles by the water . Excellent. Service on point. Wait time minimal.
