I sent message this company and felt bad. Do you have something contact to you? I plan to go to LA this Friday, if I can stay one night I change this review.

I book and paid LA location but this time the parking is not available due to road cleaning. I showed up and request cancel but they did not do that. I ask Agoda but they can not help I ask pod share they also did not refund or voucher to next visit.

Ok people this is LA now with that being said this place actually is pretty darn awesome every buisness has a moment but I can tell you my experience here was great sometimes the occasional drifter but for the most part I'm going to give an honest review I don't mix personalities with reviews so going to give it a a plus and I have not seen one bug they all speak of and I stayed in many spots maybe I'm just lucky but sounds like people are picking on this place it's definitely a gem stay get to know some people it's like that there

Be weary. During my stay, other guests had no care in mind of the “quiet time” post 10pm. Do not accept a bed by the back entrance, people will be coming in and out throughout the night. It is also where the kitchenette happens to be so between guests accessing their items and a small common area, you will not sleep soundly. I’m also covered in bed bug bites but since I didn’t think of trying to obtain a photo of them for evidence, I don’t think I’ll be getting my money back. Not sure if this is a problem throughout all of Venice, but the sewage smell is pretty pungent. I appreciate this place for what it is, but would like to see some more tidiness here. Not asking for the stars and moon

edit: this is actually really bad. I have to wash everything in my house now and this is extremely stressful. I won't go for a refund because I guess I get what I pay for but I've learned a valuable lesson here not to go for a cheap hostel. Thanks for the service anyways

edit 2: I am still deploying widespread defensive and offensive measures within my home to contain the spread of the bed bugs :(

Amazing, clean, great staff friendly people that recommend this to anybody that’s traveling

When you wake up with bed bugs capture a specimen. Take pictures. Otherwise you are lying about parasitic insects. I don’t think you should stay here. I left in the middle of the night and there’s no concierge to check you out so beware. If you can’t afford anything better than this, just grab some cardboard and crash on the beach. Edit: Look at the response from “management”LOL!
Edit: improved to 2-stars since the hygiene thing isn’t universal. I might be bourgeoisie.

WARNING! Do not book during the winter or spring. This place does not have heating. At night the temperature drops to 40-50 degrees, which is extremely uncomfortable to sleep in, especially since they don’t provide adequate blankets for this type of weather. I’m sleeping in my winter jacket at night to stay warm and my head still gets very cold - and I’m from Minnesota! Not sure how this is legal.

When I asked the staff they claim they have no heater. When I pressed the booking company, they put up a tiny 12 inch space heater pointed at my bed - that barely does anything in a giant open space building.

You won’t be able to sleep, your experience will be very uncomfortable and you will probably get sick. Not worth any price to charge - it feels like you’re just sleeping on a stiff mattress outside.

We were hopping that the previously reported bed bug problem would be fixed, but can report that it's absolutely not the case. The two of us got multiple bites during our recent stay.
Among other inconveniences to note, there was a very noisy fridge next to our bed that buzzed all night and an annoying white noise/ASMR sound was played all night through the place.

Even though the location is good, I wouldn't recommend, unless you're out of better option.

I found bed bugs in the restroom. Although management refunded me for the reservation, they did not reimburse my alternative accommodation that I had to find that same night. As a result I ended up going to a few different hotels in the area looking for vacancy. Would not recommend.

Dustin is really welcoming and helps break the inital awkward feelings of staying somewhere new, especially somewhere like dormitory-style quarters. Everything is comfy, the ambiance at night is incredibly relaxing, and this place truly is a gem ????????

We spent the day at Podshare with their day pass and man did we have a great experience!! Awesome facilities, unreal location and such a cool community of artists, social people, and good vibes. The staff is amazing and accommodating.

Me picaron unos ácaros a mi y a mi amiga que nos dejo ronchas y picazón, en la cara, cuello, muñecas y manos. Ellos no nos dieron ni crema ni medicamentos porque no contaban con botiquín de emergencia y para colmo el servicio al cliente al que te atiende un tal Michel no busca soluciones, no le interesa sus huéspedes.
Sucedió ademas que se confundieron en darnos dos días una cama de dos personas y al segundo dia nos dijeron que se confundieron que nos cambiemos a una de uno y que había que pagar otra cama por su confusion.. así que como no teníamos dinero se quedo solo una y la otra se tuvo que ir a buscar otro hostal. Nos fuimos al Samesun que ya que estoy lo recomiendo. Mucho mas limpio y barato. La gente un amor y frente a la playa Venice Beach.

They have an open room concept, meaning: you don’t sleep (for example) in a 6 bedroom with a door, because there are no doors. Everything is open and connected - all the beds, the living area, kitchen, bath and exit. So you hear noises all the time. Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night and didn’t get much sleep.

I especially didn’t like that the bathrooms weren’t separated from the sleeping area and not closed off. I’m the back, we’re we were sleeping, the sink was open to the room, the shower and the toilet had louvered doors, so you would hear everything (really everything) all the time, all night.

Although quiet time was supposed to be from 10pm to 10am, you couldn’t sleep longer than 7/8am as people were beginning to use the bathroom, which, again, you could hear. The exit door was opened early, too, so it got cold and someone from staff turned on the light and talked to some people very loudly.

Also, for the whole unit there were only 3 toilets (4 but one had no door at all) which wasn’t enough as people kept waiting or looking for a free bathroom.

Lastly I was a bit disappointed of the vibe. I am used to hostels being super welcoming and friendly. Here staff was friendly when asked something, otherwise seemed annoyed.

But: I have to say, the bathrooms were quite clean most of the time and I guess if you get a bed high up in the big room and not right to the hallway between bathroom, kitchen and beds, you might not have all these problems. And free parking was great.

Es un hostal cerca de Venice sin embargo no tienes privacidad, ya que las camas no tienen ni una cortina ni nada que los separe y esto es parte del concepto incluso si quieres poner una toalla o algo para tapar se encuentra prohibido, el internet es algo inestable el baño y las regaderas se encuentran en buenas condiciones puedes comprar tu comida y refrigerarla ahí. Hay una cocina en la que puedes calentar las 24 hrs del día, a partir de la 12 de la noche no puedes hacer ruido y apagan las luces y realmente se escucha todo entonces pues si alguien tose o hace ruido ya no podrás descansar bien, lo más relevante del lugar es que está como a unos 15 min caminando de Venice aunque la relación calidad precio es elevada, pero aún así será de lo mas barato que encuentres por la zona, y realmente dependerá mucho del tipo de viaje que estés realizando.

This place was like finding water in a desert. Brilliant stay, good service, location was like excellent, the whole idea of shared living was amazing, met some nice people from all walks of life. It was very well maintained, basketball ball court if you want to flex, 10pm to 10am are quiet hours as they make sure people get some quiet time. Jerit and Dustin both did a fab job of taking good care of customers.

Great services, good people, great prices! Worth every penny!

Personally, I would not recommend. The woman in charge Elvina is problematic and displays very irrational behavior. I would not recommend at all. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Not the place you’d want to give your money to.

this place is an absolute DUMP run by a bunch of unprofessional CLOWNS, i should start by saying NOBODY has any clue what’s going on, they never have the proper staff nor do they understand what any of the real issues at matter are. perhaps they should work on customer service and then worry about internal communication, because quite frankly that’s was the issue from the start. if you wanna stay in large a room that smells like dirty feet & hear a bunch of people snoring on top of the staff being unknowledgeable about anything but sitting a the front desk with a poor smile and a huge lack of consideration, i suggest you book to waste your hard earned money & disrespect your time!
