Best place for a bday!

Staff are pretentious and prejudice. If you’re going to have a hat policy, fine, but, please don’t be selective when it comes to enforcement. How disappointing!

This place was ok . Not what I expected . The lamp chops were a bit hard. I was seated too close to the table next to me were when I got up to use the lady's restroom I had to turn side ways and take small steps to get out . That was not fun or private. Over all I only recommend if you can aford to go thru this other than that I didn't leave with a happy face.

Went here in 2021 and It was so good I had the crab!

What can I say a 5 star experience, from the food to the staff, to the live music have been to some of the other so-called fine dining establishments, none can compare to this Jewel of a spot..definitely one of the best eating experiences I have had since moving to the West coast, our waiter...I believe his name was Steve should be an instructor in the fine art of Food service, personable as well as engaging, as was the Maitre'd...who looked like a classic Hollywood leading man...all around wonderful evening, we will definitely be returning ????

This was an absolutely amazing dining experience! Service was unmatched, Very helpful and meet all of my table needs. The food was absolutely delicious! The manager even called my daughter to ask how the experience was! Who does that these days? Fine dining was my experience! Guess what the menu had my name on it WOW!

Service sucked. Food was ok. Ambiance was ok. Would not pay that much to eat "ok" and have sub-par service.

A friend gave us a gift card here for our 20th anniversary really enjoyed the food it was good they made a special menu saying ‘ Happy 20th Anniversary’ surprised us with free dessert they have live entertainment on 2nd floor nice place for date night.

We were served by Steve who has worked there for more than a decade or two. Recommendations were good, steak was seasoned with a good amount of salt and doneness was on point. The quality of beef was ???????? ! Breads are fresh bakes, texture is soft and fluffy. We booked this place on a last minute’s decision and was able to get a good seat. We also placed a special request for celebration and they have kindly acceded to our expectations with a nicely decorated yummilicious cheesecake as dessert. This is an overall a better steak restaurant in terms of their service and foods as compared to Capital Grille which we used to patronise frequently.

Had a birthday celebration on a Friday night . Had live music at the penthouse . We usual may go to boa’s steakhouse but decided to try M this time just for a change.

Rib eye steak, petite filet, lobster mashed potatoes & couple other sides .
I can’t say these were the best steaks we have had. They were just very average. We were expecting much more from Mastros . Our server was super nice and friendly and he kinda made up for the night .
Overall , good night but notion to write home about it.

It takes about 45 minutes to get water to the table then they will take your drink order. About 60 minutes from when you're seated you will get your wine. From the time you're seated and your meal arrives it takes 1 1/2 hours.

We came here for our birthdays. Calling ahead of time, they prepared special menus with our names on it and a cheesecake with whipped cream made in house. We ordered the Prime Rib, Brocolini, French Onion Soup. I’d give the steak 8.5/10 for the price. The service and atmosphere were great. Highly recommended for dates, family dinners, or corporate/client meetings.

Went here years ago it’s over hyped over rated not worth it but the one in Malibu it’s definitely worth it just for the scenery

Super disappointing dinner. Our Penthouse reservation was for 8:15pm and we weren’t seated until 9pm. We requested the Penthouse because it’s always a dark vibey room. Unfortunately, it felt more like an office, as it was brightly lit due to what the host said was damaged lighting that needed to be repaired. I ordered a juicy medium-rare $70 sirloin steak that came out dry and medium-well. I sent it back and later received a cold center nearly raw steak that I could not eat. As my friends had already finished their food while I ate my side dishes, I decided not to send it back a second time, so I took it home and grilled it for lunch the next day. Our cocktails were good but all-in-all a very expensive disappointing dinner. I doubt we’ll be back.

Mastro's is one of my favorite restaurants. I absolutely love my experiences every time I visit a location and The Penthouse at Mastro's is no different. I loved the service and the food is absolutely amazing. My family and I always have a wonderful time.

It was my first time at this location and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing and the whole atmosphere was very laid back and romantic. I’d like to give a big thanks to the two wonderful Chris’s who helped make my birthday dinner more enjoyable and were so fun and kind. I will definitely be coming back to this location because of the then and the food!

Mastro Restaurant 계열의 스테이크하우스로서 궁금한걸 못참는 저로서는 매력적인 목표가 아닐 수 없습니다. 약 2주일 전에 예약하고 가족식사로 방문했습니다

Mastro Restaurant은 캘리포니아를 중심으로 전국에 15군데 정도의 지점이 있는 레스토랑 그룹으로 베벨리힐즈의 Steak House와 Penthouse가 중심이 되는 하이앤드 클래식 스테이크 레스토랑입니다

#분위기
미국의 좋은 스테이크하우스는 굉장히 어둡습니다 여기도 은은하다 못해 굉장히 어두운데.. 어두운 정도를 보여드리려고 흔들린 에스카르고와 망고샤벳 사진도 함께 올렸봤어요 ㅎㅎ
환상적으로 멋진 풀바가 도시의 야경처럼 불야성을 이루고 활기찬 <라이브뮤직>과 시끌시끌한 손님들의 즐거움이 느껴지는 분위기네요

#스테이크
미국의 여느 고급 스테이크 하우스처럼 드라이에이징 비프를 사용합니다. 와규토마호크, 본인안심, 일반안심을 주문했는데 굽기 정도와 시즈닝의 강도가 아주 좋습니다. 씹을수록 느껴지는 고기맛과 감칠맛이 훌륭했는데, 특히 와규와 블랙앵거스의 맛의 차이가 명확하게 구분이 되서 먹는 즐거움도 좋았네요

#사이드디쉬
얇은 감자를 라쟈냐처럼 쌓아 구운 scalloped potato와 함께 creamed corn, grilled asparagus를 주문했는데 감자의 경우 적절한 크림맛에 샤프하고 진한 치즈 그리고 잘 사용한 후추의 조합이 너무나 맛있었고 탱글한 크림콘 역시 만족스러웠어요.
다만 아스파라거스는 한번 삶은 것을 다시 구웠는지 퍼석한 식감이 아쉬웠습니다

#온도감
엄청난 온도감에 압도당합니다.
서빙되는 접시도 굉장히 뜨겁기도 하지만 스테이크와 사이드디쉬가 동시에 조리가 완성이 되서 그 즉시 동시에 서빙이 되는데... 저희에게 음식을 가져다준 스텝만 네 명입니다 ㅎㅎ
한 명은 스테이크 다른 세 명이 사이드디쉬 하나씩..
이런 신속한 서비스는 음식의 맛도 최상으로 유지할 뿐만 아니라 쉐프의 작품도 욕보이지 않은 예의가 아닐까요?
스테이크 집에서 고기와 음식들을 뜨거움에 호호 불면서 먹기는 이 집이 처음이였습니다.

고급 스테이크아우스 답게 오이스터도 훌륭했고 (씨알이 너무 작았던 건 아쉽지만 복불복) 부드러운 그림 스타일의 랍스터비스크와 담백한 에스카르고도 만족스럽습니다

우리 서버가 특별히 살갑기는 했지만 친절하고 시스티메틱한 서비스가 안정적입니다. 특히 사이드디쉬가 나올 때 서버가 손님들에게 일일히 원하는지 물어보고 적당량을 손님의 스테이크 접시에 덜어주는 서비스는 저도 미국 레스토랑 중에서 처음 받아보았는데, 대접받는 느낌까지 받았네요. 팁 2-30% 주는 것이 아깝지 않았던 서비스였습니다.

#디저트
이집 디저트 놓치면 안됩니다.
클래식한 디저트지만 과하지 않은 고급스러움이 좋습니다. 이집 시그니쳐인 Warm Butter Cake은 꼭 드셔야 하는데, 쫀득 크리스피한 겉과 한없이 촉촉한 속은 아이스크림과 휩크림과 더불어 스윗천국을 맛보여주네요

“스테이크는 미국” 이라고는 하지만 미국 안에서도 그 편차가 참 큽니다. 비싸기만 한 곳도 있고 (Ruth Criss가 대표적) 상대적으로 저렴하지만 만족스러운 곳도 있죠. 이곳은 이집만의 독특한 스테이크맛과 잘 갖춰진 완벽한 서비스가 조화로운 <돈값하는> 레스토랑이였습니다.
