Absolutely the best dining experience I've experienced to date. Service, Food, Atmosphere, everything was beyond belief.

We celebrated my best friends birthday last night and had an unforgettable experience. Private room, the best food, the best service by Martin and the team, what more could you ask for.

We will 1000% be coming to more often to celebrate future milestones.

Delicious, Beautiful and Welcoming!!

Seriously. I've never been to a fancy place like this, and I think it's like 250 a person. As someone who is frugal, this places is well worth the money.

This experience was like no other. I'd never had caviar, scallops, duck, wagyu. Everything was delicious. And very fillings. Like I was very full 75% of the way in. And could have stopped but the courses kept coming.

And it was all bomb. Not all of the dishes will knock your socks off, but many will, And you won't leave hungry.

And the service...nailed it. Kind and welcoming people. Educated us on every dish, and treated me, the host of the dinner, extremely well. They treated everyone well, but especially me, which was awesome.

This experience could not have gone better. Thank you Sarah and Team!

There’s a big step up when you go from a one Michelin star restaurant to a two Michelin star restaurant. Every single dish is an explosion of flavor.

You absolutely have to dine here! Everything from the food, to the service, to the wine/cocktails and ambiance was absolutely incredible. My significant other doesn’t eat raw fish and I forgot to mention it when booking, but the staff asked at the start of the meal and they were happy to accommodate the preference despite it being last minute. The somm absolutely nailed the pairing the night I was there. My group loved every single pour so much that we asked for a detailed list of the tasting. Overall, everything was fantastic and I quite enjoyed the perfect balance between friendly and professional when it came to the service.

Thank you for an incredible night!

We celebrated our 10years anniversary at Providence LA and we had such a tasteful culinary journey. Everything was phenomenal. From the main dishes and the different side menu such as Maines oysters, chitarra truffle pasta, prawns, Comte truffle. There were the best things we put into our body in 2024 so far. Again everything was excellent and very well wine paired. One of our most desirable restaurant to revisit.

A very nice experience.

Service was a little spotty: At one point, a diner was served a dish they were deathly allergic to, after the restaurant had multiple warnings. On another course, half the plates at the table didn't have the sauce that went with the protein. The room was a bit cramped, with servers having to ask diners to push in their chairs. Halfway through the meal, our server had to leave and handed off duties to someone else. We waited a long time for the bill at the end of the meal and eventually I went hunting through the restaurant for a server, learning that they'd charge everything to the credit card on file; it would have been nice to be told that, and given the opportunity to review the charges.

Still, the food was fantastic.

Best restaurant in LA. Two Michelin stars more than well deserved, if not trending three. The dishes were absolutely beautiful, but I was even more pleasantly surprised by the flavors from the chef’s unique composition of various kinds of seafood, vegetables, mushrooms and grains. Highly recommended.

One of my two or three favorite places in LA, it has been too long since I last been there. Staff was excellent, service was perfect, the menu and wines were divine.

Always one of my favs. I’ve been to Providence four times till now and it has never disappointed me. I can see chefs efforts from the food quality, to the presentation. Service is also one of the best - staff is helpful and friendly.

We went there for a birthday celebration, knowing this would be a 2 Michelin star. In summary, this was disappointing for a 2 Michelin star restaurant as we expected better. We have been to probably 30+ restaurants varying between 1, 2 and 3 Michelin stars and this is more on par with a 1 star. They were not able to accommodate dietary restrictions, firstly and their accommodation for the dessert was not a substitute but rather a completely different dish altogether.

The tasting menu experience started strong, with the amuse bouche but after the tai sashimi, it all went downhill. The uni was not as sweet and was not balanced with the geoduck/broccoli. The next dish, the sea scallop, contained sand. The black cod had a seafood-y taste, something that is unusual when properly marinated and prepared. The truffle omelette (optional) was mediocre at best, a well done omelette, but the truffle was not weighted before they charged $150. The swordfish/main course crescendo lacked anything to remember with. The biggest highlight from the savory list was the one potato, Two potato dish.

What was most disappointing was the hype by our waiter about the housemade chocolate, but to our surprise they substituted it with a soufflé. Of all the dishes they couldn’t accommodate for no dairy, they decided to substitute what was meant to be their specialty. Overall, I would rate the food as 2/5 given the 2 star expectation and reputation it holds. 3/5 for service, the waiter pushy and cleaning the bread crumbs was swept partially onto my partners lap (a first for a Michelin star restaurant), but inside atmosphere was great and met expectations of a Michelin restaurant.

We went for a prefix dinner, and it was amazing. It's a mix of appetizers, mains, and desserts. Loved everything on how they paid attention to every single thing from their food to service. It was my birthday, and they printed it on my menu card as well. It was a beautiful experience.

Stunning! Absolutely amazing service! Sat at the bar, food was beyond words! I would strongly recommend the Uni Egg, the menu is very filling, but I had to try 2 mains and had 2 extra Uni eggs, almost exploded, but made it. Would definitely come again to experience the well made food, with complex flavors and a heartwarming service.

I've been to a few restaurants of this caliber, and I can definitely say it's one of the best restaurants I've been to.

The food is amazing, with complex flavors, amazing textures, and luxurious ingredients. The wines chosen were very well thought out and went perfectly with every dish.

The service was amazing, attentive, but not smothering. I had an issue beforehand with my card that I thought would force me to cancel my meal, but they very gladly figured out a solution so I could make the meal.

The atmosphere is very California fine dining, so if you are used to the more formal style of a lot of East Coast places have the more relaxed vibes might be a bit of a shock. However, it works very well for L.A. so complaints here.

As a heads up for those not used to fine dining, it is a long dinner service, I was there about three hours as a solo diner. So if you are smart don't make plans after thinking it's going to be quick.

Overall amazing experience, with amazingly good food. I'm definitely coming back at some point.

Service and food were what you’d expect from a Michelin starred restaurant: Top Tier.

The amount of thought and care that went into hosting guests, be it through the speed of service, level of detailing in the dessert, etc, was truly a delight.

My wife chose the swordfish for her main entree and I got the wagyu.

We also opted to try the uni egg, and were glad we did, because it was fantastic.

The only thing we weren’t the biggest fans of were the non-alcoholic drinks. I got the spice melange - I wonder if that was a reference to dune - and my wife got the drink with persimmon. We felt the drinks beared a resemblance to various allergy medications.

Amazed by the service we received, everyone’s professional, friendly, attentive yet gave guests their space. Highlight of the night were the sashimi dish (wonderfully pickled vegetables, loved the hints of passionfruit in the sauce), the sourdough bread and the chocolate dessert. The other dishes were nice too but presentation over taste, the 2 fish dishes (sea bass, swordfish) one after the other can be slightly repetitive, so with the choice, suggest to go with the duck or beef, tho the wagyu’s on the fattier side. Love the truffle pasta add on, fair priced for what’s offered. The whole dinning experience did relay a sense of sharing the love for food than just running a business.

tldr; the food is great but there is no dish that i crave and nothing worth remembering. i literally can not tell you what i ate, the flavors lack impact and are not remarkable.

Food was cooked to perfection but no unique tastes or signature flavors/dishes. A bit of a disappointment if i’m being honest.

price came out to $520 for 1 person all said and done. normal course + $45 waygu supplement, 3 cocktails, taxes and tip. i’d say the price was fair for the quality and service. The ingredients were fresh and worth it, just the overall tastes of the dishes lacked impact hence the rating.
