We discovered this gem by accident. Took the wrong exit after flying in from Chicago. We were hungry, so we just decided to find almost anything to eat. The cute outdoor patio got our attention. We ordered a burrito (al pastor), tacos (barbacoa), and 2 taco bowl (1 chicken, 1 veggie). Every dish was flavorful and tasted fresh. The serve was also top notch. If I am ever back in this area, I will definitely plan to stop by.

Love this place. Outdoor covered seating available, parking can be tricky but worth it. Free and street parking available, small lot usually full.

I met a friend from out of town who was visiting, and we had yet to go to Benny's. It is only outside, sitting on a walk-up level and the sidewalk.
The menu has a bit of everything. We were hungry, and it all sounded good. As we walked up, we could see the rotisserie chicken up front.
We started with the Chips & Guacamole, which came with red & green salsa.
I ordered Benny's 2 Taco Plate with 2 Tacos, served with a Side of Spanish Rice and a Choice of Beans, Guacamole, & Chips for $10.95. I picked the Rotisserie Chicken and Carne Asada.
The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. I was full when I was done and forgot to order dessert. I wanted the salsas to be a bit hotter, but they did have a good flavor.
I would go back to try the caldo (soups); my friend had the Homemade Mexican Chicken Soup - a Hearty Bowl of Chicken Soup (1qt) with Whole Chicken, Fresh Veggies, and Potatoes, served with a side of Spanish Rice & Choice of Tortillas.

I usually like this place but tonight was different. I ordered nachos and they came burnt without any toppings. Not a huge deal, but when I called to resolve the issue, they put me on hold for 20 minutes, hung up and I had to call back two more times - w 20 min wait times again. I still haven’t reached the manager because he’s been “on break” for over an hour. A bad day made worse.

Monster portions and the price is solid. Pico de Gallo is fresh and the fish for the fish tacos were grilled and fried just right. Huge pieces of avocado on the tacos too. Nice variety of dips. The chips with guac on the side was nice too.

Benny's is a great place to dine out with a coworker. Benny's a fab place to order lunch to the office or dinner for the family. The California Burrito with Shrimp is amazing! Their churros are a nice and tasty treat!

Pickup orders are rarely correct. Do not order the churros, you will not receive them. I even asked them to double check after multiple bad experiences and I still did not get my correct order.

We absolutely love Benny’s! They are so friendly, fast and efficient. The rotisserie chickens are excellent and such an easy dinner for the family. The nachos are delicious and the portions are very generous. They have so many options and always aim to please. Parking and indoor and outdoor seating make this such an easy and fun destination.

Very tasty tacos, I had their signature rotisserie chicken on my tacos and they give you plenty of chicken. Also had some nice crispy hot fries!

Went to Bennys for lunch and was so disappointed with the service! The employees are rude and when I asked to use the restroom they said NO! we don’t have one. Clearly they do. Will not be going back. Food was just ok and expensive

Taco options is very basic and limited as a store in LA.
The quesadilla is not my type, shell is soft. I am lover of a crunchy shell.

Everything was actually pretty good..... Until I got to the rotisserie chicken taco.
Was so excited for it with the pickled onions, radish and giant leaves of cilantro.
I could even get past that I had to take out the stems of the cilantro. Whatever.

Took a giant bite and..... Tendons and BONE was all I got.
I've NEVER had chicken bones in my tacos. Definitely scarred and couldn't even finish it.
