Bijzondere ervaring om te eten bij een man die één van de drie Belgische koks is geweest met drie Michelin sterren bekroond. En ja… dat Konijn met ganzenlever en pruimen… hemels… Oprecht 1 van de lekkerste gerechten die ik ooit heb gegeten. Wijnkaart ook indrukwekkend maar wat overpriced naar mijn mening. Flesje Nuit de St Georges bijvoorbeeld 3 keer duurder dan elders in restaurant… maar voor de rest- zeker een aanrader!

One of the nicest restaurants in Bruges. The menu we had was all about winter, sweet, umami fish and game. Certainly would go back.

Heerlijke menu met een top bediening. Wij hebben niet onnodig lang moeten wachten. De bediening was van zeer hoog niveau.

The food here is nice enough, but certainly not close to being worth the cost. We have eaten at a number of Michelin guide / star restaurants and this is easily the worst value for money. The cost of 'welcome champagne' and coffee after dinner felt excessive (€40 and €20 respectively).

Service was good with very attentive staff, though being placed on the table right next to the coat cupboard gave the feeling of a much less than a €500 experience.

Amai wat een belevenis vandaag voor onze 50 verjaardag.
Super bediening aan tafel,zeer lekker gegeten en de complimenten aan de keuken en chef Geert voor onze fantastische 5 gangen menu Brugge die schone.
Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar .

Durch Zufall mit dem Fahrrad entdeckt. Trotz absolut unpassender Kleidung, für ein solches Restaurant, wurden wir überaus freundlich begrüßt, professionell bedient und allzeit herzlich betreut. Das Essen war eine absolute Gaumenfreude! Einfach phantastisch! Kommen sicher bald wieder. Dann jedoch passend gekleidet :-)

Dit is een ervaring die iedereen moet meemaken. Wat een heerlijk eten met veel liefde gemaakt... en wat proef je dat in iedere hap die je neemt. Wat een combinaties. Je mag hier terecht trots op zijn chef en team!

Ook de service merk je nog de service van de Karmeliet geweest! Een pluim voor de maître en team in het restaurant.

Ook de service van de kaaskar door Mevrouw Van Hecke was zo goed en gezellig. Mevrouw neemt ook tijd voor een praatje aan tafel. Dit maakte het allemaal compleet!

En op het einde heeft ook de top chef tijd gemaakt om eens te komen praten aan tafel. Ook een foto maken deed hij met heel veel plezier.

Wij komen zeker terug! Mijn man zal zijn 40ste verjaardag nooit vergeten... waarvoor oprechte dank.

Wow, I wanted to share our terrible dinner experience at that restaurant and saw Holly’s review - another guest who posted a day ago. I agree with her every word! We’ve been all around the world, dined in the best restaurants, 1-2-3 Michelin starred and that was a joke! Maybe restaurant changed their chef? The food was mediocre. Also, the front manager or sales person- I am not sure how to call him- was super pushy and made us feel uncomfortable. He came to us every 2 minutes when we were deciding on the menu. A La carte - the price for 1 appetizer is 65-75 euros? Seriously? In the end we left without waiting for the desert (which was next in the Het Vlakke Land prefix) just because wanted to finish this awful experience. Beautiful city of Bruges deserves better! P.S. We never paid 18 euros for a bottle of water.

Wonderful meal, perfect for a special occasion. The appetizer of different tomatoes was absolutely amazing. The presentation on all dishes was outstanding.

After eating here, I legit feel like I've been scammed by Michelin. No way this compares to the many other Michelin starred restaurant I've been in, and I'm trying not to be a snob (414 euros for 2, it hurts a bit, and honestly never been charged for the 'welcome champagne, 36 euros at that'). Scallops didn't taste like scallops and had a strong flavor of soap. Main dishes were unflavorful, poorly tasting, and poorly cooked (rice uneatable, salmon flavors poor, missing an option on the menu, over seasoning of the crab) and overall not good or imaginable. 1 out of 2 desserts were also uneatable because of the flavors (strong curry ice cream, get out of here, gross). After a rhythmic meal, suddenly desserts were delayed over 40 minutes and I had to ask for them (and in the meantime, the cleaning crew had time to scrub and clean the entire kitchen-ugh). The only other couple in the restaurant were also upset and uncomfortable at the end. Sorry but this restaurant is not deserving of a michelin star, and even on Google, they deserve less than 2 stars. Front of house was it's saving grace.

Edit: Apparently they flagged my negative review and they got it removed. Everything posted is the truth and my spouse can attest to it.

Mooie zaak al zit je heel dicht bij de andere tafels. Ietwat te gejaagd ipv rust vandaar dat we op max 2h buiten waren en dat voor de ganse menu. Bepaalde hapjes en vooral dessert ondermaats voor zo'n zaak. Voor en hoofd gerecht top . Conclusie wij waren teleurgesteld en zouden dit niet aanraden aan vrienden.

Top restaurant... Geert heeft nog steeds zijn passie en gedrevenheid om uitstekende en innovatieve gerechten op tafel te toveren. Top bediening. Super Wijnkaart. Compleet.

A great tasting menu without being overwhelmed! 3 courses with a few small surprises. The langoustine was a fantastic starter, good flavors. The rooster was unique!

There is an option of doing a cheese tasting (the cheese selection looked great).

I do wish there were some more options for wines by the glass (the wine was good).
