Absolutely outstanding service and an unbeatable location. We encountered a small issue with our original room, but the staff immediately upgraded us—offering the first night complimentary and the rest at a very fair rate. Laurent, Cherine, and Celine went above and beyond to assist with everything from hotel-related needs to arranging activities and excursions. Their hospitality truly made our stay exceptional. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly.

Our stay at Le Suffren was excellent. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make our visit special. They allowed us to check in early and even upgraded us to a suite for our honeymoon, which we really appreciated.

The town of Port Grimaud is very charming, with great access to Saint-Tropez by boat or car. It was a perfect base for exploring the area.

One unexpected perk was the laundry service, which was a great deal at 40 euros per bag. I also left a few personal items behind, and the hotel arranged to have them shipped back to Canada without hesitation.

Overall, the service was outstanding and we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend

We spent 5 nights at this lovely hotel in the heart of Port Grimaud. With just 20 rooms, this place has boutique feel with exceptional attention and service from all of its staff. The room was beautifully finished with direct access onto the waterways. Port Grimaud is a lovely destination that offers everything on your door step including a gorgeous sandy beach just 10 minutes walk away. Even better is that the hotel provides beach towels free of charge. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection of fresh options every morning. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit the beautiful coast of Provence and to explore the Saint Tropez bay area.

Lovely hotel located in a picturesque market square. Friendly helpful staff from the moment of arrival. Stylish and modern furnishing but also very French. Our bedroom on the market place side was compact with everything we needed. Crisp white sheets, bathrobes slippers, Occitaine toiletries and an iron was delivered within minutes of our request. Fantastic efficient air conditioning. Balcony with a table and chairs so we could watch the world go by.
Coffee and tea facilities, corkscrew, wine glasses...everything was at hand. Very good breakfast too. The discounted price of the parking was also appreciated and the ease of access. Highly recommend without hesitation.

Our stay at Le Suffren was the highlight of our two week trip to France. We traveled from the North to the South staying at two hotels and one AirBnB and could not recommend this hotel more. We stayed in room 212 which offers a balcony view and kitchenette. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchenette which is impeccably designed with a state of art dishwasher and fridge with separate freezer; how I wish these kitchens were offered in Manhattan studio apartments! While the kitchenette has almost everything you need, you will have to scrounge salt & pepper from the front desk. Highly recommend food shopping at the best grocery store I've ever been to in my life; E.Leclerc, located in Cogolin–it is not the closest but an experience not to be missed if the way to your heart is through your esophagus.

We parked our rental car in the nearby resident lot for $15/day. We enjoyed the relative peace of the area and felt no need to venture to St. Tropez. The larger beach, a short walk from the hotel was well manicured and quiet. We do not recommend the smaller beach you can access via the water taxi as it is less manicured.

Le Suffren harkens back to the hotels of yore who provide you all the amenities including L' Occitane products that include shampoo/body wash, lotion, hand soap, pillow spray, and more. They even provide sewing kits, plug in bug deterrents, shower caps, robes, slippers, and other pleasantries that I thought went out of fashion as hotel chains attempt to achieve the most efficient bottom line.

As Americans traveling during an unprecedented record heatwave the actually functional AC and petite ice tray were the coup de grâce of our stay; putting a bow on what we now dubbed 'our favorite hotel in the world.' If you're looking for a relaxing vacation away from the pomp and circumstance of St. Tropez and needing to decompress after a stint in Paris look no further than Hôtel Le Suffren in Port Grimaud.

We had a nice and excellent stay. Very friendly and helpfull people, quick and easy check-in (the hotel is situated in a private, closed-off and protected area but you're allowed, by arrival, to enter and ride with the car close to the main entrance to drop off your luggage). The location is really superb. Clean and comfortable room. Minor drawback, but outside the responsability of the hotel: little too noisy around from already early in the morning, due to filling and/or emptying glass containers by owners of surrounding bars or restaurants. Some advice, but rather a detail and positively/constructively intended: maybe trying to get a little more variation in the breakfast offer, especially concerning the 'charcuterie'... ;-)

This hotel is well located and it’s one of the very few options if you want to stay in this particular area. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and cozy, although the interior felt a bit dated. The hotel does offer a parking solution, but it comes at an additional cost. Breakfast was quite basic, and to our surprise, scrambled eggs were available only for an extra charge – on top of the breakfast fee already payed. That was a first for us. Still, overall, we recommend this hotel for its location and service.

Please do not stay here. There was no hot water. There is another guest who has reviewed the same 4 days go. When we complained, the lady Celina who claims that she is the general manager lied to us that we were the only ones complaining about no hot water. I see that another guest has reviewed the same 4 days ago. She said she called the plumber and everything was ok. However next day no hot water again. Celina and other staff member ganged up against me saying that my husband and i used 80 l of water. We were hardly in the room. The hot water runs out just after brushing your teeth. This is the first hotel that I have experienced in my life that there was no hot water. We are very well travelled. The hotel charge us premium rates and do not supply basic necessities such as hot water. I asked to write to the group Md. Celine then claimed she will not give me the contact details as she is “ overall in charge” However the investors or group directors should know when you are doing such a poor job. . We were celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary and my birthday all Celine did was offer a complimentary breakfast for the no hot water which we refused. It is very surprising that a 4 star establishment is allowed to run like this. Zero form of customer service. Stains on bedsheet, furniture very dusty that you can’t even sit on it. If you have experienced no hot water please dispute the hotel charge . This no way a hotel should operate like this ! The group directors should know Celine is not capable of running the hotel and is in no way treating guests correctly.
Edit: Celine is lying in her response gain. Another staff member (a male staff at reception) said that guests compete for hot water and its common that in the morning it might run out!

The staff were incredible, the rooms on the water in the canals are fantastic and the location with St Tropez a stones throw away made our stay a 10 out of 10. We will return!
