Smashing site next to a castle.
Clean showers/toilets.
Wi-fi free.
If no one at reception when you arrive, find a place and go and check-in later.
Uphill/downhill into and back from town.

Prachtige ligging met uitzicht. Jammer dat het vrij nieuwe sanitairgebouw niet wordt schoongemaakt. We zijn hier nu 3 dagen en de vloer ligt vol rommel en het stinkt naar pies. Wat een gemiste kans.

Leuke camping met ruime staanplaatsen met stroom die soms moeilijk bereikbaar zijn. Prima sanitairgebouw.

We mochten direct zelf een plaatsje kiezen want de receptie was gesloten tot 16.30u en
wij kwamen toe om 14.30u. We vonden geen enkele plaats die vlak was. En sommige met serieuze hellingen wat jammer was. Eerst gebeld, voice mail, en we konden maar tot 9u 's ochtends online boeken. Dus terug vertrokken om elders te gaan staan.

Fab little site in the town that deserves more than an overnight stay. Lots of history can be seen in all the buildings and Chateau nearby. Very good set up on the site but as we used our own facilities can't comment on the shower toilet etc. Definitely come back.

Very scenic location situated beneath the castle.Facilities block is modern and was pretty clean.
This site is mostly used as a transit site by campervans and motorhomes for just a night.
If you turn up with a reasonable size motorhome or caravan there aren't that many pitches where you could get an awning out because a lot of the pitches are small or fairly sloping.
There's things to do in Falaise for a couple of days and the castle was well worth visiting along with WW2 historia.A LeClerc supermarket and filling station just a few minutes drive away.

Beau camping au pied du château de Falaise, accès au centre ville, beaux emplacements électricité comprise, commodités très propres. Produits locaux en vente à l'accueil. Gérant très sympathique. Tarifs très corrects.

We hebben hier maar 1 nacht met de caravan gestaan omdat we verder wilden. Jammer, Falaise is een plaats waar je best een paar dagen langer kunt blijven.
De camping is keurig netjes, sanitair is prima en de medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk.
De gasten zijn internationaal; Fransen, Duitsers, Engelsen, Belgen en Nederlanders (ja, hèhè :-)

Le site est idéal pour visiter Falaise ou pour passer la nuit au port de ferry de Ouistreham. Les emplacements sont spacieux et plats, tous ont l'électricité, les équipements ont été modernisés et sont très bien. Les tarifs sont beaucoup plus élevés que dans d'autres campings municipaux et la connexion WiFi nécessite un certain tri.

Schöner Platz. Allerdings war am 30.09. der Platz schon geschlossen, für die nächsten 6 Monate. Kein Hinweis, nada. Ein französisches Ehepaar kam auch gerade an, man hätte reserviert, mit Bestätigung….

A delightful campsite by the town of Falaise. We had a hedged pitch with a view of the castle. Other pitches are under trees or open on hardstanding. The facilities are clean and excellent. The town is about 10-15 minutes walk away uphill. You can visit the castle and there are two other museums. The Saturday market is lively and there are places to eat and drink. The creperie was very good. We followed marked walks in the countryside around the town. These were quiet and green and pleasant.

The gate didn't open at 7am as promised. We had a ferry to catch. Noone to ask. The emergency number refused to come out. Eventually a neighbour in the village told us where the owner lived. We woke him up to open the gate. Very nerve wracking! We left 45 mins later with 15 mins to get to Caen. Probably end up with a speeding ticket. They closed the port gate but let us through!

Erg mooie camping onderaan het kasteel van Willem de Veroveraar. Mooie grote plaatsen, goed beschut. Mooi sanitair, maar aan het einde van het seizoen voor de helft afgesloten en wat minder intensief schoongemaakt. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst.
Falaise is een leuk provinciestadje met horeca op loopafstand van de camping. Kleine supermarkt 7 dagen per week open van 08:00 tot 22:00 op loopafstand.
Een heel erg mooi en indrukwekkend museum over 2e wereldoorlog en wat het betekende voor de bevolking. Direct naast het kasteel. Een bezoek is zeer aan te raden.
Op Komoot een erg mooi fietsroute gevonden van 42 km door weilanden en bossen via Nécy, Rônai en Habloville over stille wegen, licht heuvelend.

Absolut schöner Campingplatz mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf das Chateau. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Sanitäranlagen waren modern und sauber, absolute Weiterempfehlung

Une nuit de trop dans ce camping.place très petite.compliqué pour mettre une table et deux chaises.heureusement que nos amis étrangers sont là pour visiter le château de Guillaume le Conquérant

Quiet site with views of the castle. Pitches vary in size . Some sloping but in the main level and terraced. Modern facilities but poorly designed in that the showers made the area slippery and dangerous. Need shower curtains. Apart from the site being pretty scruffy with neglected gardens and roads the site is acceptable. Can recommend it.
