Le charme désuet d un hôtel face à la cathédrale.
Effectivement hors de portée de personne à mobilité réduite.
Point positif : bon rapport qualité prix [ 125€ ]

Superbe terrasse face à la cathédrale, mais service trop pressant
L’emplacement est top, avec une terrasse agréable et une vue imprenable sur la cathédrale — parfait pour une pause.
En revanche, le service laisse à désirer : à peine assis, le serveur nous saute dessus sans nous laisser le temps de lire la carte.
C’est dommage, car le cadre est vraiment superbe et mériterait un accueil plus détendu.

I stayed at Hôtel Cathédrale in Strasbourg for one night. The location couldn’t be better — you walk out the front door and the stunning Cathedral is right there. It’s also a great starting point for the tourist train and only a short walk to the river cruises and the train station (around 20 minutes).||My room was very small, but comfortable and extremely clean, with a nice bathroom. The bed was great. However, the biggest downside was the lack of assistance with luggage. There’s no elevator from the entrance level, so I had to carry my heavy suitcase up a full flight of stairs just to reach the lift — and no staff offered to help, even though I was clearly struggling.||It’s a beautiful and charming place, but they should really consider how they welcome guests, especially solo travelers.| Anyway I loved the location a lot, helpful for going and coming easily every where.

Amazing location right across from Strasbourg Cathedral — couldn’t ask for better! Room was small but clean and comfy.

1 Stern ist noch zu viel! Die Lage ist zentral, ja das stimmt, das war es aber auch dann. Wir hatten über Check 24 eine Übernachtung gebucht und uns vorher über das Hotel belesen. Kamen dort mit 2 Rennrädern ( ohne Akku) an und wurden aufgrund unseres Dresscodes von dem Herren an der Rezeption nicht wirklich willkommen empfangen. Als er dann unser Räder sah, bekam ich einen Plan wo man 15 min Flussläufig seine Räder in einer Tiefgarage parken sollte.wäre aber nicht überwacht oder abschließbar oder man solle sich irgendwo in Straßburg einen Platz suchen. Auf Hinweis, das so etwas in der Beschreibung stehen müssen wurde uns gesagt , so kommen Sie hier nicht rein dann müssen Sie wo anders übernachten. Vielen Dank für nix,110 € für die Mülltonne. Geld bekommen war auch nicht wieder. Was ein unhöflicher Service.
Der Herr behagte immer darauf, es sei ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Aber auch da sollte man vielleicht, gemeinsam eine Lösung finden und nicht vom „ Hof“ gejagt werden. Na ja 1 Stern gibt es ja schon für einen TV auf dem Zimmer.
Auf Nachfrage, ob man das Zimmer stornieren könnte, wurde auch verneint, obwohl dort Leute standen die gerne das Zimmer genommen hätten und man hätte nur die Adressen tauschen müssen. 0 Lösungsorientiert nur auf Profit aus.

Je suis venu commander un soir dans le but de me désaltérer, avec 3 amis nous avons pris chacun quelques choses à la carte dans le but d'obtenir une carafe d'eau et de ne pas passer pour des rats.
Cette demande me fut refusé car il était trop tard et que le service venait de se terminer...
C'est bien dommage !

Très mal reçu en terrasse, nous a demandé d’enlever notre sac de la chaise sans même baigner prendre la commande personnel hautain sans professionnalisme, je ne recommande pas du tout pas eu le temps du coup de tester l’hôtel, nous avons fui avant

Great view, lots of restaurants nearby, excellent breakfast, accomodated food allergies, bottled water provided at the desk, staff very friendly. Would recommend to others. Good location for shopping.

Good and Perfect

Très déçu par le confort de l'hôtel qu'on dit 5 étoiles, heureusement très bien placé, on s'est empressé de quitter la chambre au petit matin pour avoir de l'espace ,mauvaise nuit, je ne recommande pas du tout.

Accueil, chambre, emplacement de l’hôtel, buffet du p’tit déjeuner : EXCELLENT.
Adresse à retenir

Würd ich nicht mehr buchen. Hier unsere Erfahrungen:

Zuerst das positive
- Lage so zentral wie es eben nur geht
- sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption
- Zimmer war mit Blick in den Innenhof der echt ruhig war. Also keine nächtlichen Ruhestörungen.

... und das ist eigentlich auch schon alles an positiven Punkte. Über die negativen Aspekte könnte man hinwegsehen, wäre der Preis faier gestaltet... aber dieser Preis für

- alte abgenutzte Zimmer
- schmutzige Zimmerwände
- viel kleinere Zimmer als auf booking.com dargestellt (Harry Potter hatte mehr Platz in seinem Kleiderschrank als wir in diesem Zimmer)
- Aufzug erst ab Etage 1
- Zimmertüren die sich nur mit Mühe versperren lassen
- den kleinsten Kleiderschrank den ich je gesehen habe (für 2 Personen!!!)
- unbequeme Betten
- sehr dünne Wände
- eine Bar die nie besetzt ist

Schwierig. Für den Preis dürfte man sich eigentlich mehr erwarten. So war das leider zumindest was das Hotel anging eine Enttäuschung für uns. Klar. Es war nicht so schlimm, dass es unzumutbar war und für 3 Nächte wo man nur zum Schlafen hier war gings. Dennoch für den Preis enttäuschend.

I had the pleasure to stay in this hotel for a week (half business, half holiday so I wasn’t in the hotel a lot).

+) It’s a unique hotel right in front of the cathedral and I booked a room with a great view (and I‘d recommend to do so, since the rooms on the inside appear to only have windows pointed inside the hotel). The service was good, a big thank you to the receptionist Val that helped me with an easy check-in and lots of extra-infos.

-) Be aware that the building is a bit old and some may have a problem with that (I found it charming and clean, still). The hotel bar appeared to be closed (never saw anyone there) but there’s plenty of alternatives in the city in an easily walkable distance. The breakfast offered the basics, but not a lot more and the hotel itself has many corners and is a bit of a labyrinth, until one gets used to it.

All in all, it was a 4/5 hotel experience but the kind help of the receptionists really upgraded the situation!

Das Hotel an sich hat eine super Lage, die Einrichtung ist sicherlich nicht für jeden - aber über Geschmack lässt sich ja bekanntlich streiten.

Was leider ganz klar ein Minuspunkt ist: einige Zimmer bekommen keinerlei frische Luft und haben zusätzlich keine Klimaanlage.
Bei 8 Grad Außentemperatur war die Temperatur im Zimmer bei 27,3 Grad Celsius. Aufgrund der Tatsache dass einige Fenster der Zimmer nur in das Innere des Hotels zeigen ist keinerlei frische Luft vorhanden. Es gibt zudem nur eine Heizung, keine Klimaanlage. Weshalb sich der Raum sehr stark aufgeheizt hatte. Wir haben sogar mit offenem Fenster (wie gesagt, das Fenster zeigt ins Innere des Hotels) geschlafen und dennoch wurde es immer wärmer und wärmer + dazu kam, dass die Leute, die in der Nacht und am frühen Morgen im Hotel unterwegs waren uns vom Schlafen abgehalten haben. Aus diesem Grund würde ich die Zimmer, die im inneren des Hotels liegen auf keinen Fall empfehlen.

The hotel has an excellent location, which is the only thing that truly deserves five stars. However, the rooms are quite small and when we arrived, they were not heated.
They should also make sure to always have hot water in the bathroom.
For all hotel breakfast lovers, eggs were not served—instead, there was just a bowl of raw eggs that you could put into boiling water and cook yourself as you wish. However, there were no scrambled eggs or fried eggs. The breakfast was very poor and had to be paid for separately, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
There are several small restaurants nearby that offer breakfast, so it might be a better idea to spend your money there rather than eating at the hotel.

All things considered, this hotel is actually a three-star, definitely not a four-star.

The location was wonderful! Unfortunately there was no elevator from the ground floor, so at least one flight of stairs is required to reach the rooms.

Posizione centralissima, parcheggio Austerlitz vicino e conveniente. Il personale si è dimostrato preparato e gentilissimo. Camera piccola ma ben arredata e letto con ottimo materasso. Colazione discreta non inclusa nel prezzo della camera.
La doccia è sempre il tallone d'Achille degli alberghi per quanto riguarda la pulizia. Anche in questo caso bella doccia, spaziosa ma la pulizia all'interno lascia un pò a desiderare
In generale ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Un séjour parfait à l'Hôtel Cathédrale ! L'emplacement est idéal, en plein cœur de la ville, offrant une vue magnifique sur la cathédrale. Les employés sont incroyablement accueillants et professionnels, toujours prêts à rendre le séjour plus agréable. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, avec une grande variété de choix pour bien commencer la journée. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour son service impeccable et son cadre exceptionnel !

Wir waren vom 27 - 28.12.2024 im Hotel.
Unsere Zimmer 25 & 26 hatten einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die Cathedrale.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Insgesamt ist der Aufenthalt ein positives Erlebnis. Das Hotel hat Charme und Geschichte.

La verdad que la zona es lo que hace que a pesar de todo valga la pena, pero deja muchísimo que desear siempre teniendo en cuenta las 4 estrellas del hotel.
Empecemos por las cosas positivas, zona es inmejorable y accesible a todo. El chico de los desayunos desde el 25 al 28 es maravilloso. La atención del chico que va con camisa blanca y moreno, detestable, no un buenos días, ni absolutamente nada, parece que le digas que hablas poco francés y nada de inglés no les gusta y desagradable todo. No reponen las cremas del baño. Hay que decir que por 270€ la
Noche debería tener cafetera con reposición de café y agua de cortesía que en todos los hoteles ponen en el siglo XXI, y una tetera porque recomendar agua de la cafetrera para hacerte un té es de locos!!!!
La habitación es cómoda pero una reforma no estaría mal. Hay más detalles pero considero que es falta de la ideología de la empresa y tampoco hago esta crítica para mal sino para que mejoren la atención y los pequeños detalles que marcan sin duda la diferencia.

This place is located right across the famous cathedral but I will suggest to avoid at any cost.

I do not understand how this is a four star hotel with no amenities, poor service and age old construction.

First the construction is old so there is no elevator from the ground floor. You need to move the luggage by yourself; sometimes there are some hotel stuff available

Second, getting to and from the hotel is VERY difficult. There is no taxi or uber nearby. The hotel does not provide any service or help of any sorts.

Third, the church bell might seem romantic for first few hours but it rings every 15 mins and then few minutes for every hour. This is very disturbing

The only good thing about the hotel was the bathtub which is very nice.

Le café et le thé sont à disposition la première nuit mais même si vous payez le même prix la deuxième vous devrez faire sans. L'eau dans la théière est déjà présente à vitre arrivée enfin...Pas vidée du précédent voyageur. Le petit déjeuner prenez le de suite car à 10h15 vous n'aurez que les restes. C'est dommage car ce pourrait être un hôtel fantastique mais tout est vieillissant il faut vite réagir car de 4 étoiles je passerais à 2 sans hésiter si j'étais inspecteur.

Séjour du 11 au 13 décembre 2024, gros bémol pour la chambre qui nous avait été attribuée avec un chauffage qui faisait un bruit infernal, après plusieurs échanges avec le personnel, le veilleur de nuit nous a rapidement trouvé une nouvelle chambre, plus spacieuse, plus confortable et avec une meilleure vue. Quelques petits travaux, notamment dans les salles de bain seraient nécessaires. Nous sommes un peu déçus par la quantité et qualité du petit déjeuner ouvert de 7h à 10h, à partir de 9h il manque déjà énormément de produits. En revanche, l’emplacement est idéal, rien à redire de ce côté là, tout est à proximité. Un grand merci au personnel agréable et souriant.

The room was very old and charming, but freezing. No heat coming from the heater. We complained and nothing happened. Everything revolved around the restaurant and noone cared about the guests. We waited a long time to both check in and check out as they kept seating dinners before us. The location was fantastic for visiting the Christmas markets, but the hotel was very overpriced for what you got.

CHE DELUSIONE!!!!! Un Hotel 4 stelle che ne merita 2. Posizione ottima ma troppo caotica e chiassosa. Arriviamo alle 14 in taxi che ci lascia a 800 mt dall'hotel. Il receptionist, scortese e molto veloce, ci consegna la chiave e ci indica la stanza sita al secondo piano e raggiungibile attraverso una scala a chiocciola, scomodissima, fino al primo piano e da lì in ascensore. Mi comunica che se avessi voluto le valigie in camera avrebbe dovuto chiamare qualcuno, ribadendo che la|"chiamata" aveva un "peso".|Chiedo di chiamare qualcuno perché io non sarei riuscita a portarle fino al primo piano facendo quella scala. Entriamo in camera. Che delusione!|Piccola e sporca. Le lenzuola, 4 notti, mai cambiate. Bagno FATISCENTE CON VASCA (e non doccia come in foto) SENZA MISCELATORE. Riuscire a regolare l'acqua ad una temperatura ACCETTABILE implica uno spreco d'acqua non indifferente e una pazienza infinita. Vasca vecchia e macchiata. |Bagno piccolissimo e sporco. Le addette alle pulizie impiegano 3/4 minuti per la pulizia della stanza. Briciole sulla moquette MAl aspirate per 4 giorni.||Colazione mediocre, 19 euro a persona, troppo per la "pochezza" del buffet. Chiedo il giorno prima della partenza se fosse possibile prenotare un taxi per l'indomani, il receptionist mi risponde che DA QUEL MOMENTO I TAXI LI POTEVO TROVARE SOLO ALLA STAZIONE, GARE CENTRALE, lontanissima a piedi (30 minuti dall’hotel percorrendo stradine acciottolate) con 2 trolley da stiva! Insisto, ma lui MI CONFERMA che non c'era nessuna possibilità di chiamare un taxi perché dal 5-12 i taxi non arrivavano in centro, con una presunzione indescrivibile. |La mattina della partenza (5-12-24) mi armo di coraggio e vado in reception con la prima valigia, in discesa la scala era fattibile se pur la valigia fosse pesante e grande. Il receptionist (lo stesso che mi ha fornito l'indicazione dei taxi la sera prima), MI PORGE IL BUONGIORNO DA SEDUTO SENZA CHIEDERMI SE AVESSI BISOGNO DI AIUTO. Gli dico che sarei salita a prendere la seconda valigia. Lui sempre seduto e con la massima indifferenza non mi chiede se avessi bisogno di aiuto. Salgo, e vedendomi in difficoltà sul finale della discesa, stanca e in difficoltà, non si è alzato per aiutarmi|NEANCHE PER GALANTERIA. Non mi è mai capitato in un albergo 4 stelle una|MALEDUCAZIONE SIMILE. Una mancanza di cordialità e gentilezza nei confronti dei clienti che VI GARANTISCONO UNO STIPENDIO.|Con le valigie mi accingo ad andare verso la stazione, da lui indicata sulla cartina, non faccio in tempo a girare l'angolo che vedo una|coda di taxi lungo la strada. Mi fermo per chiedere una corsa per l'aeroporto, e senza la minima esitazione mi ritrovo sul taxi. Chiedo all'autista se fosse vera questa informazione del "blocco dei taxi in centro" e lui mi risponde che ci sarà nei giorni successivi. Inoltre mi risponde che bastava poco che l'hotel chiamasse in centrale per dare una INFORMAZIONE CORRETTA al cliente. Ancora BRAVO E GENTILE IL RECEPTIONIST. Ha fatto proprio il suo lavoro, quello di essere gentile e dare le GIUSTE INFORMAZIONI. "Grazie per l'ennesimo aiuto"|Non tornerò mai più in questo HOTEL.|CARISSIMO PER I SERVIZI CHE OFFRE PARI A ZERO. Sporco e vecchio. Foto del sito FINTE E RITOCCATE.
