Grosse déception

Décor passé, chaises crasseuses, le premier contact n’est pas bon. Bonnes salades mais gâteaux quelconques, le tout très cher, plus de 40 euros pour une salade, un gâteau et une demi bouteille d’eau minérale. À éviter absolument.

Es entrar y te transporta a otra época. Sitio exquisito por el ambiente, servicio y comida. Pedimos un chai latte, un batido y una pastelito, salió caro,pero lo pagamos a gusto. Si quieres pasar un rato agradable y probar un buen dulce,tienes que ir.

Si vous désirez une pâtisserie de grande qualité...rendez vous chez gerbeaud.
Un tres beau décor, un personnel au petit soin....bref un bon moment à passer.

Place is a bit overhyped. The prices are over the top. Pastries are good, but not worth the price. Coffee was a let down. I wouldn't recommend it. I prefer New York Cafe.

Das Ambiente im Kaffeehaus ist sehr schön.
Die Preise sind jedoch Abzocke! Es wird begründet, dass bei Herstellung der Kuchen hochwertige Erzeugnisse verwendet werden. Das mag sein. Andere Cafes machen dies auch und verlangen einen Bruchteil des Preises.
Was uns leider auch erschreckt hat, war die kaum vorhandene Sauberkeit in den Toiletten. So etwas sollte in einem Haus wie diesem nicht passieren! Hier sollte öfter eine Kontrolle durch das Personal stattfinden.

Superlativa la torta dobos.
Abbiamo voluto assaggiare anche la torta sacher ma purtroppo non è stata di nostra piena soddisfazione.
Prezzi medio-alti comunque adeguati allo standing del locale.

Although I would never recommend the Cream Cake, nor the Coconut and Strawberry Swiss Roll and even less the Gerbeaud Slice which I couldn’t even bring myself to have half of it, I do strongly recommend you have the Esterházy Slice as it is simply delicious!

חיפשנו באזור קינוחים יוקרתיים ואיכותיים, הגענו לכאן.
המחיר לא מדבר בכלל, העוגות משעממות ולא מיוחדות ולא מתאימות לחך הישראלי בעיניי אבל לא מצאתי אותן שוות בכלל. התה נחמד והקוקטייל גם. השירות שכח מאיתנו וחיכינו רבע שעה ויש להם מזל שאני עם המון סבלנות ולא באנו רעבים עד הסוף כי היינו עוזבים אם היינו רוצים לאכול. המסעדה מפוארת (בודפשט) אבל זה בין במקומות שזה רק העיצוב, לא המזון...

It is a really fancy place for sure and it nice, you can go and enjoy a nice time, but some reviews put it as amazing, everything is good but not amazing, would recommend but not a must

Not worth the hype for me! It was ok.
Ben had eggs Benedict which was very small, Vinnie had scrambled eggs which was a decent portion of eggs but hardly any bread and I had smoothie bowl
Asked for oat milk for my tea which never came, but another of our party asked for a latte with cows milk and it came with oat milk so maybe there was a mix up when the order was written down.
Staff were nice enough but didn't try to connect and when food was delivered it was delivered by about four staff members at the same time so it felt a bit like being swooped upon!

Very bad coffee and very bad cakes and very expensive comparing the level of the food and drinks. This is a classic tourist trap, For 2 coffee and a small slice of cake we paid more than 100 Euro!!

No breakfast/brunch served after 11:30 am. We ordered an americano coffee and a small squeezed orange juice and they charged us 16 EUR (18 US dollars) which were very expensive for the quality of the products and the service. Even in Paris and New York I wouldn't have paid that much.

A very nice cafe in the very center with a spirit of history dating back to the mid-19th century. The desserts were delicious, the Caramel and Coffee ice cream too! Satisfied since coming here!

Tres bon

Restaurant au centre ville dans une rue piétonne. Le nombreux personnel est la pour vous satisfaire, et les quelques mots de français sont appréciables. Cuisine de qualité un peu cher mais très bonne.

Je suis allée chez gerbeaud lors d'un séjour à Budapest sur conseil d'un ami. J'ai beaucoup apprécié ce lieu qui est très accueillant.
Le personnel est au petit soin :on vous place a table et on vous demande plusieurs fois si tout va bien.
Les pâtisseries sont excellentes.
Le prix est assez élevé (environ 10€ la pâtisserie) mais la qualité est au rendez-vous.

dans la catégorie a ne pas manquer

notre passage dans ce café restera comme un grand moment de notre séjour à Budapest. D'abord pour le faste des lieux. Accueil à la hauteur. Carte très complète y compris avec quelques plats chauds pour le déjeuner. Nous avons testé les glaces. D'une grande qualité indéniablement. Evidemment, c'est un peu cher pour Budapest (une dizaine d'euros la coupe de glace maison) mais cela reste beaucoup moins que bon nombre de brasseries parisiennes n'ayant pas ce prestige

A voir pourquoi pas

Très bel espace, très coquet : magnifiques lustres, jolis rideaux. Les pâtisseries sont très esthétiques. Néanmoins le goût n’est pas transcendant contrairement à ce qu’ on aurait pu imaginer... Pour satisfaire votre palais délicat, préférez les petites boulangeries/pâtisseries plus authentiques!
