Great food. Super friendly. Greek owner chatted to all the guests and gave us complimentary ice cream and raki. Very reasonable price too.

"The Green Eye" in Chania:

Last night, we decided to visit "The Green Eye" restaurant in Chania and were delighted from start to finish. Right from our arrival, we were warmly welcomed. We expressed our desire to first savor the appetizers and then decide on the main course, and our wish was promptly accommodated.
The appetizers were swiftly served. In particular, the Green Eye Salad impressed us with its exquisite taste. The bread and tzatziki were also culinary delights. However, we were a bit surprised when the bill was presented to us, even though we intended to order more dishes.
For the main course, we opted for cheese balls and grilled Calamari. Without a doubt, these Calamari were the best I've tasted during our stay in Crete.
I wholeheartedly recommend "The Green Eye" in Chania. A small note to the staff: Please refrain from prematurely presenting the bill to guests. Despite this minor oversight, the outstanding Calamari and the overall excellent service earn a full five stars.

Dobré jídlo. Ceny jídla super, ceny pití vyšší, ale na centrum města poměr cena/kvalita super. Moc milá obsluha. Jídlo připravené během chvíle. Po jídle jsme dostali zmrzlinu jako pozornost, moc milé.

Our go to for coffee and breakfast when I don't feel like cooking????. They make excellent lunch and dinner too, tastes like homemade food. We love coming here because the owners are always here to care after their store and their clients????????. This is a neighborhood ???? gemstone, guys you must come here whenever you're in the neighborhood.

Kuten ex-vaimollani oli tapana sanoa: ”Ei sitä voi elää ilman ruokaa!”???????? En minäkään Aino, en minäkään. No, mutta nyt ”suoraan” asiaan, söin taas chikhen kyrosin, eli kreetalainen gepap ja se maistui ???????????????????? hyvälle. Lapset söivät (7 v ja n.21 v) pitsaa, voi höpönassukkaiseni.????????????KIITOS GREIKKA ”KREECE”????????????????????????✝️✝️

My family and me we are visited The Green Eye several times! Always is pleasure to spend time with them! Fantastic hospitality and very good food! Fantastic Kleftiko lamb also very good Stifado beef ! The Green Eye salad is really something special!

Stopped off here to watch rugby. Had pizza and 3 large beers. Pizza was very good.
Shame about the staff!
We where made to feel very uncomfortable as the host (!!!) Went to every table around us and had shots with them but completely ignored us. Had to ask for the bill 3 times.
Will not be returning, miserable bunch!

Very pricey and the food was kinda awkward in my opinion.I don’t understand why I have to pay 3.90 euros for a small draft beer,or 2.50 euros for 1 lt of water.I’m Greek and these restaurants really frustrate me.The people there were awesome and kind.And the atmosphere was okay.But the prices is a no for me.

Πολύ καλό φαγητό και το προσωπικό είναι φιλόξενο. Δεν μου άρεσε η πράσινη σαλάτα, ήταν πολύ γλυκιά, αλλιώς όλα ήταν νόστιμα. 5 αστέρια.

A family owned restaurant; Gregoris was our waiter and he told us his mom was in the kitchen !
Over a decade in business, this restaurant is a must in Chania.
Special mentions for the amazing & authentic Pastitsio; I went back a second time to have it again!
Prices are very reasonable and the service is beyond excellent.
Lots of dishes to choose from so it is definitely a crowd pleaser.

The best breakfast in Old Town Chania! Off the water, so prices are more reasonable and food is much better. We had a perfect English breakfast with our own French presses for coffee. Service was quick and excellent!
