Leider für dieses Jahr schon im Winterschlaf. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit guter Küche, nettem Service und wunderbarer Atmosphäre, da etwas zurückgesetzt vom Hafen gelegen und angenehm ruhig.

Bonito restaurante de comida local, a precios muy razonables y muy buena calidad. Pedimos Musaka y calamares, feta al horno y ensalada griega, muy bueno todo y muy acogedor.

This restaurant is located at the promenade, one ally next to all the touristic restaurants. It’s most definitely worth it. You almost miss it in between all the fancy looking tavernas, but the food and the price are way better than in the tourist magnets around it. We had a fish soup which was tasty and good value. The steamed mussels were so far the best we had in Crete, amazing stew with different vegetables. The tuna steak (medium rare) was done on point and was served with fitting sides. The fried calamari were good. I’d suggest the tuna and the mussels they were just amazing. The service was very friendly told us the stories behind every single cat they had around the restaurant. We felt warmly welcomed and the atmosphere was just amazing. Worth a visit while you’re in Chania.

Vi var fire der alle bestilte kanin stifado, den var rigtig god. Friske råvarer, store portioner til en helt rimelig pris.

Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι που δεν το εντοπίσαμε νωρίτερα...κάπως κρυμμένο και καλά κάνει αν με ρωτάτε! Τέλειο φαγητό και προσιτές τιμές για τον μέσο Έλληνα! Το προσωπικό και ειδικά για έναν σερβιτόρο πού κάνει όπως πρέπει την εργασία του, είναι τέλειο! Χαμόγελο σε ότι του ζητηθεί. Θα το πρότεινα οπωσδήποτε και ..εις το επανιδειν
Θα πρότεινα Κολοκυθοανθους που δεν έβρισκα πουθενά και οι μερίδες του είναι για έναν νορμάλ άνθρωπο και οχι σπουργίτι!

That's how it should be: authentic local cuisine instead of tourist standard menu, nice and attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere on a rather quiet square. Best experience in Chania so far!

Cenamos una ensalada Faca espectacular con un mix de Mariscos y Pescados excelente!!!! Muy Buen precio calidad! Nos dieron de cortesia unas uvas con un chupito de algo bastante fuerte! Y Rico!! Super recomendable

Eaten here for a week and so far this smokes even some of highest restaurants. App with local wild mushrooms is the no.1. Its just wow! Avacado salad was so fresh

They don't like greek customers.last night I was on my wife's birthday. We had to wait along time for kalamari n marina. It takes 3 minutes to cook them. Customers come after us n served before.
The restaurants in the port are for tourist only.. they will never see again. My advice is, avoid restaurants in the port area. We will never eat there again.

All the stars for the waiter, around 40, a pony tail, he made us feel welcome, a lovely smile. We left the tip to say thanks for his service however, the food was mediocre, the worst we have in Crete, grilled meat chewy and dry, a big dissapointment.

A ne pas manquer: la meilleure taverne traditionnelle crétoise de la Canée (Chania). Le propriétaire et sa famille ont leur propres vignes dans la montagne. Tout en terrasse dans le décor magique des vieux bâtiments du port vénitien.Prix très raisonnables.
