Tucked away in a side street nearby Trajan’s Market, it’s a refined and formal restaurant that’s great for sitting down to relax after an energetic morning. The food here, as is standard in Rome, is of excellent quality, the Beef Tartare and the Amatriciana I can attest to. If you arrive when they open, they should be able to fit you in without a reservation, but this is subject to circumstance. Great place for lunch, highly recommend.

Despite not being the most fabulous food or with the most affordable prices, the overall made the visit worthwhile, especially the warm and attentive service from the waiter.
I definitely recommend a visit to this picturesque restaurant.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. The carbonara and the tiramisu were the best I've had in Rome. There's not a single thing on the menu that I didn't enjoy (we tried it all!) Just as fun for a date as it was with a larger group. The service was incredible but the food was even better. I don't think you'll find better pasta anywhere in Italy!

Cenare in tranquillità in un ambiente grazioso , quasi romantico è possibile a Roma. In luogo un po’ defilato ma al centro della capitale! Menù con piatti curati e un po’ alternativi, assieme a piatti della tradizione. Impeccabile! Consigliatissimo .. ps: meglio prenotare

We had a wonderful lunch here. The service was warm and friendly. The staff’s English was very good and we appreciated that they offered to speak it with us. The Cristina Special was very good and was truly unique. I really liked the Swordfish Pasta that I had.

A nice quiet family-owned place in a hidden corner. Everything we ate was delicious-especially the spaghetti with Amalfi lemon cream and the steak with mustard sauce. The service was great and all the ingredients tasted super fresh. The sweet little pup sleeping under a server was an extra bonus.

Absolutely fantastic little family owned restaurant.
Located on a little back street and only found as we were looking for restaurants located near to our hotel.
Antipasto and caprese for starters followed by carbonara and swordfish pasta. All of our dishes were beautifully presented and the flavours were outstanding. This was then followed by homemade tiramisu and marmalade tart. The tiramisu was to die for and you’ve got to try the tart to really appreciate it. Words cannot describe how good our meal was here.
It is a proper family run restaurant with the food clearly being cooked with love and passion.

We returned to this restaurant on our last night in Rome and were greeted with smiles from both the lady and gent in front of house. Clearly returning guests are the greatest compliment and the evening lived up to expectations again.
Starters this time consisted of the caprese and beef tartare. The beef tartare was a generous portion and very good quality. The pasta dishes this time were ordered ‘for the table’ so we could try a few dishes. The swordfish pasta was ordered again along with the gruyére lasagna and the amatriciana pasta with all 3 dishes cooked beautifully again. We finished again with the homemade tiramisu and the daily special blueberry tart. Gorgeous.

We honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is a genuine family owned restaurant. When you arrive and see tables full of ‘locals’ you know you’re in for a treat.

Honestly one of the best restaurants I tried while I was in Rome. The filet mignon was exceptional, the carbonara was one of the lightest I tried, and the caprese was top quality. We came at 10pm, and were served, overall the atmosphere was great, surrounded by the family members who own the place.

We have dined at Santa Cristina al Quirinale every time we have been in Rome over the last ten to twelve years and it has always been our favorite meal in Rome. This visit, we had our four children and their spouses with us and it was so wonderful, we all returned the next night. With such a large group, we ordered most of the menu....all simply delicious and excellent. Enrico's service is warm and charming and fun. Francesca, his wife, is lovely and it is only his parents in the kitchen, producing fresh and traditional pastas, steaks and fish. We loved it, recommend it wholeheartedly and cannot wait to return!

Best dinner in Rome! So delicious we ate two nights in a row and the food got better. The service and ambiance are outstanding. We tried 16 dishes and every dessert across two nights, practically the whole menu (large group). All fabulous!

This place was so amazing, we ended up canceling another reservation and eating here two nights in a row. Owned and operated by a sweet family who all tended to us with great care, the service and pace of our meal was perfect. And the food… the food is on another level. It was the best food we had in Rome, and probably anywhere for that matter! My group of 9 ordered almost everything and tasted it all- clearing our plates! Favorites were the lemon pasta, the mixed grilled seafood platter, and EVERY dessert. The carbonara and lasagna were also outstanding. We ordered every dessert on the menu two days in a row. My favorites were the coconut ricotta cake and the chiachiere. I hope this place is around forever because I will definitely come back for a visit if I’m ever in Rome again! Thank you Enrico for a truly special and unforgettable dining experience!

We had some really wonderful food here. Really good for us as vegetarians too and some really memorable dishes. That it is family run makes it more special and it’s clear there is a lot of love put into it. Totally recommend. We went on a really quiet Monday night in January and it filled up by the time we left. Will be coming back next time we are in Rome!

My wife and I went for dinner On Saturday January 20th.
Location is magic, right in the heart of Rome.
We both had the carbonara and it was by far the best carbonara I ever had.
They have an incredible wine list and their house wine was delicious. The owner was super nice and made us feel home the whole time. He also spoke very good English and that was a huge plus for us.
Outstanding food and customer service. Highly recommend this place!
