If you go to Seville and need a hostel, this is THE BEST PLACE EVER. BY FAR MY FAVOURITE. MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH, WILL BE BACK THIS SUMMER.

It was just one big family and I didn't want to leave, literally left to Cadiz after 3nights then came back stayed another 2.

Everything perfect, the hostel is super clean and cute. People are all very welcoming, super good situation on the terrace. Recommended if you travel alone :)

Really great place! Nice kind atmosphere to meet people and the dinners are large and delicious.

My only challenge was the struggle climbing up the 3 story bunk bed in the all female dorm. Would recommend choosing a dorm that doesn’t have 3 store bunk beds.

Hay cenas para vegetarianos, se paga a parte, pero esta genial. Hasta pude repetir.

Posto incantevoli con un’atmosfera magica. Ero da sola ma ho fatto subito compagnia all’interno. I ragazzi della reception di un’accoglienza fantastica. La cena variata ogni sera un piatto diverso, il beverage con dei cocktail birre e bevande più forti. non mi è mancato niente ma soprattutto le attenzioni dove vai e qualsiasi cosa ti chiede all’interno della struttura c’è sempre qualcuno a disposizione. Questo è fantastico, mi sentivo come se fossi a casa mia.. ma mi ha colpito soprattutto il modo come funziona mi sentivo in una grande famiglia. Dopo che un certo orario verso le otto di sera, tutti quanti si sedevano alla e mangiavamo come si faceva una volta tutto semplice ma molto buono. È la prima volta che rimango in un ostello che offre una accoglienza così familiare.non direi sia il posto perfetto per bambini, ma se ne avessi dei figli li porterei volentieri. Perché mi sono sentita rispettata accolta e in un ambiente estremamente familiare e tranquillo.

super friendly staff (and guests)! everything was clean and it’s a great location too. the sound blocking wasn’t great (i could hear people talk in the lobby area) but nothing some ear plugs couldn’t fix. would definitely come back again!!

I never leave reviews, but I felt compelled too after the amazing experience I just had here. If you want to stay in the heart of Sevilla, surrounded by amazing folks, and a world class staff then you should stay here.

The facilities look brand new and the cleaners do an amazing job keeping everything organized and clean. It’s also hard to beat the views from the rooftop, particularly given the fact that bars with similar views cost about two to three times more on average than La Banda does (plus, the bartenders here not only make great drinks but are extremely friendly and eager to engage in conversation).

The front desk staff and managers also provided unparalleled recommendations when it comes to the best restaurants, day trips, museums, and how to navigate the region more generally.

I was originally supposed to only stay three days and it turned into almost two weeks because I had such an amazing time, not only at the hostel, but Sevilla in general. I cannot praise La Banda highly enough and am extremely grateful for the amazing memories; looking forward to visiting again soon.

Ho soggiornato per 10 giorni in questo ostello in pieno centro, e quando avrò la possibilità ci tornerò assolutamente. La stanza da 4 letti femminile era grande, come il bagno con uno specchio spettacolare e una doccia enorme, pulito tutti i giorni in modo eccellente. Letti comodi e un armadio per ciascun letto (forse aggiungerei solo una piccola mensola al letto per appoggiare il telefono o altre cose personali!). Colazione basic ma abbondante, lo staff sempre disponibile e gentilissimo, sono tutti molto pazienti e pronti ad aiutarti! Bellissimo il rooftop dove ogni sera si trova il bar aperto con sangria gratis e una cena a tema, oltre a musica dal vivo. Un ottimo modo per creare connessioni tra le persone e amicizie.
Sono stata davvero bene e non vedo l’ora di tornare ❤️

La Banda is a great hostel near a lot of cafes and restaurants in Madrid.

If you ever get the chance, definitely go here for New Years, which is a really fun experience.

The staff is really friendly and really knowledgable about events going on in the city.

no table/any platforms in the room was a major bummer had no place to even put a mug - bedding, especially the pillow is the worst, like worse than Ikea’s cheapest line kind of worst and the polyester duvet was also hard to bear - i put a lot ot weight on bedding quality so - hygiene and renovation wise it is a 2 or 2.5 star at the most
i mean if you are super extraverted and just like to mingle in a hostel go for it but this is not for introverts prefer quietude and clean + cozy beds - also the cost is too high for what you get; the worst hostel I had so far throughout my 1.5 months in Europe- this was the only one I woke up in the middle of the night freezing and had to take a COLD shower in the morning in January because THERE IS NO HOT WATER. miserable

Had a great time here, kind people, calm atmosphere. You can get a good night of sleep here and still socialize. Met some great people here on my first solo trip.

Literally the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Consistently clean, comfortable beds with curtains, welcoming staff, and unbeatable location less than a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. Highly recommend for solo travelers.

1. La banda de rooftop, ha cambiado para bastante peor en todos los aspectos.
2. Mucha musica por la noche en la azotea, fuera de lo permitido por las ordenanzas municipales.
3.Habitaciones que no tienen nada para poner la ropa..nada, hay dejarla tirada por el suelo.
4.Te suben el precio 15 euros más y sin avisarte; muy por encima de lo acordado.
5.El desayuno muy pobre. No hay pan o tostadas para todos.No hay microhondas para calentarte una taza de caldo o un poco de leche.
El desayuno empieza tarde y ponen en la puerta de la cocina un candado grande.
6.habitaciones que hay que subir dos plantas para ir al
cuarto de baño.
7.En cuatro noches, me cambiaron 3 veces de habitación,le iban dando cada vez la peor...
8.Si no has pagado la cama, todas las noches pir adelantado te pueden dejar perfectamente en la calle
no te cogen el teléfono ni suelen respondere a los emails.

El cliente se vio obligado a llam la Policia Local Sevillla para que mediara ante establecimiento La Banda de Rooftop firmara junto con el perjudicado cliente.

An extremely awful service experience, with the hotel refusing to negotiate the check-in time with the guest!

I was so disappointed with the service at the hostel that I feel compelled to share the problems I encountered in the process.

We missed our check-in time for the day because we were dealing with stolen luggage, and at 9:00am the next morning, the hotel sent us a message stating that if we did not check in by 3:00pm that day, it would be considered a "no show" and would result in the cancellation of our stay and the deduction of our full payment. We immediately replied explaining the reason for our no-show, but in the process, the hotel did not offer any negotiable solution, leaving us feeling helpless.

Customer service contact information could not be found on booking's website. The order was immediately canceled due to a mistaken touch of the cancel button and no alert was received.
Although we immediately explained to the hotel about the mistake and asked if it was possible to continue the check-in, or other possibilities.
This conversation took place at 10am. The hotel was extremely irresponsible, despite the fact that there was still plenty of time before they notified us of the "no show". But they refused to provide any assistance or action, whether it was to change the check-in time, continue the stay, or refund the money.

Booking customer service told me that the hotel canceled my reservation and submitted it as a no show. this is not true.

There was no warning in the hotel's email or booking page about the "no show" time policy.
I can certainly understand that the hotel is not responsible for travelers' accidents, but why did they refuse to negotiate? I didn't even have a chance to check into the hotel at 3pm.

Overall, I was very disappointed with the hotel's service. Not only did they fail to provide adequate information and support, but they were very cold and refused to negotiate when faced with our problems.
This experience has made me question the credibility of this hotel and I cannot recommend it to other travelers.
I hope that the hotel will take the reasonable requests of their guests seriously and improve their service processes to avoid similar situations from happening again.

Excelente hostel, próximo do centro e atrações turísticas. A partir das 7pm o lounge é aberto e é excelente para conversar e fazer novas amizades

I can really recommend this hostel. With the (very tasty - compliments to the different chefs) hostel dinners and the rooftop bar it was very easy as a female solo traveler to meet and mingle with everyone. The hostel staff was super nice, helpful and fun (shoutout to the volunteer Darcy and his love for Reggaeton), there was always someone at reception, the place was clean and the free breakfast was a plus on top.

Kommen wir zuerst zu den positiven Sachen. Das Hostel ist in einer sehr guten Lage, man ist nur wenigen Minuten von der Kathedrale entfernt und die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist auch nett und kann teilweise gut englisch sprechen.
Leider muss ich dennoch einiges kritisieren. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, das stört in der Nacht doch ganz schön doll. Zudem gibt es bei den Betten keine richtige Möglichkeit auf Privatsphäre, da nur die unteren Betten einen teilweise bedenken Vorhang haben, aber von mindestens einer Seite vollständig einsehbar sind. Im Badezimmer ging das Fenster nicht richtig zu, weswegen man teilweise von außen hineinschauen konnte mit Sicht auf die Dusche. Es gab morgens beim Duschen nur einmal warmes Wasser. Die anderen Male war es kalt. Dazu hat der Föhn im Badezimmer nicht funktioniert.
Letzter Punkt ist die Helligkeit im Zimmer. Durch eine nicht gelungene Verdunkelung der Fenster war es auch in der Nacht sehr hell im Zimmer, was durch nicht richtig existente Vorhänge der Betten nicht verbessert wird.
Insgesamt ist meine Erfahrung mit dem Hostel ernüchternd, da der Schlaf wenig erholsam ist und die Ausstattung für den Preis mehr als nur schlecht ist.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hostel. As a single female traveler, I felt safe and at home here. The staff is amazing, and there’s someone at the desk 24/7. Special shout-out to Darcy for his kindness, humor and welcoming nature, you’re the best! The rooftop makes the whole place feel genuinely like you’re in a villa with your best mates. Full of laughter, good vibes and friendship. Plus it was well maintained, clean and in a great location. I miss it already!

This was the best hostel experience I've ever had! The rooms are clean and comfortable (the 4 bedroom ones are quite a bit better than the 8 bedroom ones though). The location is good and close to all major tourist spots. But more importantly, the events and the dinners on the rooftop provide a great opportunity to connect with some amazing people! The staff is very friendly and always there to help. I would certainly like to be back some day!

La Banda is the best place I stayed in Spain! The rooms and kitchen were great but the rooftop really made it! Free sangria followed by happy hour made it really easy to make friends, everyone I met was also solo travelling! All the staff were really lovely, making sure everyone was having a good time! Darren made the best cocktails and was encouraging everyone to have fun and make friends in evenings????

Super lovely hostel! I stayed in a mixed dorm with 10 people and the room was really clean. The vibe in the hostel is very nice. The rooftop is a good place to have drinks in the evening.
The hostel could organise some more activities to make it easier to connect with others, but if you're a social person you'll be fine at the rooftop!
