Avis RIVAGE HOTEL & SPA Annecy

This hotel is very well run. The rooms are clean, light, spacious and well appointed. We stayed in a prestige triple with a balcony.

We had breakfast every morning and the team run by Jerome and Marie is fantastic. We need more people like this in the UK! They are friendly and genuinely do their job with pride and profession. Jerome pointed me in the direction of some interesting books on Annecy as well. Even at busy times the buffet is really well run. The croissants are irresistible.

We had dinner twice in the hotel and had excellent service and lovely food.

The hotel is over the road from the lake and you can dip in there very easily. Walking into Annecy old town is about 1 km but it’s a lovely walk and helps you burn off all the food you have been stuffing. The view is amazing. I think you can hire bikes if you want to get there a bit more quickly. The hotel also has ample parking which you pay for. It has an indoor swimming pool and spa as well. The French staff on the front desk were always helpful and friendly. Do explore nearby Gorges du Fier, Grottes du Cerdon, Château de Menthon, swim in Angon or St Jorioz. We were lucky enough to experience Bastille Day with fireworks over the lake. Shopping is good too. France is such a beautiful county, Annecy is a gem and the hotel is perfect. Thank you.

Réservation d’une nuité par staycastion.
La chambre était grande et spacieuse mais autour du lit présence de nombreuses tâches de café sur la moquette.
La porte de la douche aussi vait un problème au niveau des charnières de fixation.
Pour un hôtel de ce standing cela laisse un peu à désirer.
Le petit déjeuné était copieux et varié.
Toutefois le parking pour la voiture vous en coûtera quand même 25€ la journée

Très bel hôtel face au lac.
Chambre spacieuse, literie agréable, belle salle de bain et terrasse.
Le spa et très bien.
Nous avions le petit déjeuner et il est vraiment top, énormément de choix.
Mon mari et moi avons été ravi de notre séjour

Très bonne prestation avec des chambres spacieuses et un espace spa agréable.
La vue côté lacs n'est pas forcément le plus beau des côtés, car elle donne surtout sur la route

We had read some negative reviews for this hotel but we honestly couldn’t fault it. The room was spacious and perfectly designed with a lovely shower and extremely comfortable bed. The air conditioning was quiet so my partner allowed me to keep it on at night which is unusual! The little things like provision of a water cooler and recycling facilities in the lobby were great for the environment. The choice at breakfast could not have been better and the pool area, sauna etc were modern and well kept. The staff were always friendly. I would give 10/10 but the price was a bit high for room and the breakfast. There was also only a short window after 9pm when children were not allowed in the pool so chances of a relaxing time in there wasn’t always possible.

Nous sommes resté 2 jours, l'hôtel est bien, mais pas transcendant. Plusieurs petits points dans la chambre qui ne sont pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles et d'une nuit à 400 euros surtout.

Bonjour, l'hôtel très sympa. La fille ( ne me souviens plus de son prénom) qui travaillait à l'accueil le samedi 12 juillet vers 13.30 était ultra hautaine juste parce que je lui ai demandé si c'était possible d'avoir la chambre à 15h... réponse et attitude ultra désagréable... A part ça le resto incroyablement bon. Le service impeccable. Les serveurs super gentils.
Concernant la chambre trop cher pour ce que c'est. Le plafond à la salle de bain était complètement abîmé avec une immense tâche autour de la douche pluie. Pareille les joints assez abîmé et sale . Pour 380€ je trouvais limite la chambre. Mais le reste était incroyable. Merci à tous les serveurs et serveuses

I stayed for one night when on a solo road trip and the hotel is modern with great rooms and excellent parking facilities, with outside and garage parking.
It is situated in a quiet locaction and it is a pleasant 30 - 40 minute walk along the lakside from the the hotel to the old part of town and main tourist area.
Service from the individual staff members at reception was polite and efficient at check in, but a little disinterested and cold at checkout.
In the evening, I chose to have a simple meal in the bar, of burger, salad and fries. The burger and salad were acceptable and fine, however, the fries looked and tasted like they had been prepared at lunch time hours before and then left on a hot plate, which was just poor catering and lazy presentation.
The bar service was painfully slow and I finally gave up waiting for a final beer before retiring to bed.
The choice and quality of food for breakfast was fine, however, it felt like a cafeteria experience, with a few disinterested staff clearing tables once guests had departed their table.
This is a nice modern hotel and has potential to be a great place to stay, however, on my visit I found it lacking in attenion to detail in some very basic areas to truly justify it's claimed 4 star rating.

Un séjour inoubliable au bord du lac !

Nous avons passé un moment exceptionnel au Rivage Hôtel & Spa. L’emplacement est tout simplement idéal, avec une vue magnifique sur le lac d’Annecy et un accès facile à pied ou à vélo pour explorer la ville et ses alentours.

La chambre était spacieuse, très propre, moderne et parfaitement équipée, avec une literie ultra confortable. Le personnel a été accueillant, attentionné et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos besoins avec le sourire.

Mention spéciale pour le spa : un vrai havre de paix, avec piscine intérieure, sauna, hammam et soins de grande qualité. Un pur moment de détente !

Le petit déjeuner était également délicieux, varié et copieux, avec des produits frais et locaux.

Nous reviendrons sans hésiter pour un autre séjour détente. Merci à toute l’équipe pour cette belle expérience !

Hôtel de grande qualité très bien équipé restaurant de grande qualité

Hotel très agréable, mention spéciale au personnel souriant et serviable. L'espace spa et détente est très complet (hamam, sauna, bain scandinave) et la piscine grande. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon sans être trop cher pour un hôtel de ce type. Petit bémol, la facturation du parking en supplément (25€/j) ce qui n'est pas adapté pour ce type d'établissement.

Le personnel est très sympa, le petit-déjeuner correct. Par contre, les horaires du Check-in (16h) et du Check-out (10h30) ne sont vraiment pas pratique. Nous avons eu la dame du ménage qui a tapé à 10h30 pile à la porte pour nous faire comprendre gentiment de sortir. Pour un 4 étoile et au vu des tarifs, je pense qu’il y aurait un effort à faire de ce côté. Pour nous, qui avons passé qu’une seule nuit, ça fait vraiment très court (19 heures exactement) entre l’arrivée et le départ.

L'accueil est convivial, le bar est cosy avec de délicieux cocktails et snaking. le spa est calme , spacieux, propre , sans oublier le restaurant qui est subtil .cet endroit est fait pour passer un bon moment de détente , je recommande

L'Hotel est idealement situe, a 30min a pie du centre-ville, et dispose d'un superbe spa ou nous avons pu passer des agreables moments. Les massages sont egalement excellents et le choix est vaste. Nous avons apprecie la proximite de tout, la location de bateaux et de velos, le lac, la promenade et les nombreux restaurants, dont de tres bons.

Superbe expérience, le personnel top, la chambre famille est parfaite.
Magnifique piscine en inox au Spa ainsi qu'une belle carte au restaurant, avec une belle sélection de vin( il faut trouver des années un peu plus prisés même si je connais la complexité d en avoir :)).

This is a modern hotel that is very clean and convenient to the lake. A large group of our family stayed here for a reunion in Annecy, and it was very comfortable for all of us. We used the pool and enjoyed the breakfast every day. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning is good. It is directly across the street from the swimming area of the lake.

Seul bémol nous avons réceptionné notre chambre à 16h30 au lieu de 16h

J’ai pu réaliser un massage ultra relaxant avec Sarah au spa de l’hôtel , un vrai moment de bonheur , elle est d’une douceur un incroyable et très professionnelle. Je crois que Sarah est en alternance ce qui annonce un futur très prometteur, bravo c’est un des meilleurs massages que j’ai pu faire !
Les cabines sont très belles et propres , toute l’équipe est super !

Fairly nice facilities but overall a very unpleasant experience.

Receptionist was rather curt upon checking in. Didn’t think much of it. Tired after a long drive and wanted to order room service. QR code in room didn’t work (photos attached). Tried calling reception multiple times to see if they had a menu or if they would allow our dog in the restaurant so we can eat there. No answer.

We decided to go check the restaurant and upon walking past reception it was manned by 2 staff, not dealing with any guests. Go to the restaurant which was completely empty inside and not at capacity outside and are told no tables available. OK. But it closes at 9.45pm, and this was around 20:30/20:45 so I think it’s a stretch to assume they had a coach load of people booked in ~1 hour before closing (and it was still empty an hour later). Also I had checked a few hours earlier when on route and it showed multiple seatings available for that evening hence I didn’t book as we were also not sure of exact arrival time.

Go back to reception to ask about room service and informed them that the QR code wasn’t working. Response was “what do you mean it doesn’t work?”… well sir, exactly that. Go to bar and order food and some wine and water. 30 mins later no drinks have arrived. 45 mins later see our food arrive and the kitchen staff bringing it talk to the bar staff and leave it on the bar. Bar staff continue going about doing whatever they are doing. After watching it go cold for 5 minutes I go to inform the bar staff I think that’s our food. Her response “oh, is it?” - we are literally the only people in the bar… (food was terrible). Another 10 minutes later wine finally arrived (not chilled), no water. In this time after reminding about the wine order someone seated outside has come in and ordered a cocktail and it’s been served.

The whole experience seemed borderline racist given the treatment of guests around us and there being no other differentiating factors between us and other guests apart from my partner being Asian*.

*Worth noting here that there was a very loud group of Caucasian Americans who came into the bar, were immediately dealt with and seated outside with drinks following within minutes.

Really beautiful hotel with a great spa. The staff were friendly and we had everything we needed in the room. Will definitely be back!

Bonjour, je vous conseille cet hôtel de qualité prix très bien avec une démarche développement durable exceptionnelle avec des produits sans emballages et recyclables ????, chambre spacieuse avec petite terrasse vue sur le lac, literie confortable, cafetière avec du bon café offert pour votre quotidien, chargeur électrique shneider pour véhicule qui charge très vite ????offert par l’hôtel également, salle de sport avec du matériel dernière pointe de technogym ????, spa tous compris dans le prix propre et spacieux, vestiaire qui se ferme avec votre carte de chambre et enfin un centre de soin si vous souhaitez des compléments pour encore plus de sérénité, des l’accueil l’hôtesse avec son sourire et sa bienveillance vous détend et les massages et gommage enveloppement je n’en parle même pas c’est que du bien être, merci à Sarah qui fait de très bons massages ????! Et pour finir par l’estomac bien entendu le restaurant la Lona, les petits déjeuners sont complets du sale au sucre on y trouve son bonheur et les plats sont un délice notamment je vous conseille l’ombre Chevalier ou un bon onglet de bœuf et le meilleur pour finir les desserts revisites sont tous très bons ???? ! Merci

Amazing. 5 minutes into our stay we added another night and so glad we did. Super friendly and helpful staff, lovely rooms and perfectly located for walks along the lake or a short drive into town.

Your hotel delivered everything that I was expecting, the lovely smell that greets you when you walk through the door then extends to the immaculate presentation of the hotel.
Your staff were welcoming and helpful, and always available.
Our room was clean spacious and well equipped (a room/hotel book or guide would have been beneficial) the spa facilities were exceptional and very welcome.
We dined at the hotel and again found the food and drinks to be exceptional and delivered by the staff with a smile and friendly approach.
A big well done to all the staff for making our stay as pleasurable as possible we very much appreciate the work that is put in and will definitely recommend the hotel and be returning ourselves.

Nous aimons bcp cet hôtel. Bien placé en face du lac, calme. De beaux matériaux.

Par contre service un peu limite. Pas d’eau bouteille en chambre pour une chambre à 350€. PDJ version cantine usine manquant de produits fait maison et très peu de choix.
Service manquant d’attention.

Restaurant avec une cuisine globalement assez bonne.

Assis à une table haute manquant cruellement d’intimité.
