3 piscines. Personnel très sympa, accueil voiture, réception, petit déj,.. bonne ambiance
En raison des bouchons, l'accès au centre ville peut être long à certains moements de la journée (par contre pour le "retour maison", on est du bon côté !
This was by far the worst service I’ve ever received. The room we were given was dirty, poorly maintained, and nothing like the photos. We were also made to wait over 3 hours in the heat just to check in, with no explanation or apology.
We ended up leaving the hotel early because the conditions were so bad, and still weren’t given a refund. It felt like they just didn’t care about guests at all. Would absolutely not recommend — save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else!
The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a stunning view of the sea that I never got tired of waking up to. The multiple pools were a real highlight—each one immaculate, serene, and perfect for relaxing at any time of day.
The complimentary breakfast was generous and delicious, with a wide variety of fresh options to start the day right. I also really appreciated the hotel’s central location, which made it easy to explore the area. And the free shuttle service to town? That felt like true luxury—punctual, comfortable, and incredibly convenient.
Every detail—from the comfort of the room to the thoughtful amenities—was clearly designed with guests’ comfort in mind. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality experience.
However, the most unacceptable part of our experience happened later that night. At 10 PM, the key scanner to our room completely stopped working. I reported the issue immediately before leaving the hotel for the evening. But when I returned, the situation had not been resolved. I approached Jerome, the only staff member on duty at the time, to explain that we were still locked out. Instead of assisting us calmly or professionally, he became defensive, drove off in a golf cart, and when we eventually found him outside our room, he physically pushed me and nearly ran me over — all of which I have on video.
This level of service is absolutely not what you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. While other staff members I spoke to were kind and mentioned they were understaffed, this doesn’t excuse the way Jerome handled the situation. Being left locked out of our room late at night — despite raising the issue hours earlier — is unacceptable. The aggressive behavior and complete lack of apology made an already frustrating experience significantly worse.
If you’re traveling to Saint-Tropez, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The stress and lack of professionalism simply aren’t worth it.
I also noticed that they not only never cleaned our room, but 200€ was taken from my backpack. It’s just unbelievable.
Our stay could not have been better, and even The property is beautiful. More beautiful in person than online. though we’ve been gone a week, we are still smiling. The breakfast was incredible, the attention to detail by the cleaning teams, the attentiveness of the bar staff near the pool, all was world class. Even the the location was great. Although it’s slightly outside of town, it was no big deal to walk (which we did numerous times) or obtain a hotel provided shuttle. I would give the Kube an extra star or rate them 11/10 if possible. (And all of our group wants to go back again in the future.)
At €1300 a night, one expects excellence - or at the very least, decency. Instead, the Kube Hotel in Saint-Tropez delivers a masterclass in disappointment. The decor is an assault on taste, the food is appalling, and room service disappears entirely after 10PM. Trays of half-eaten meals remain in the corridors all night, a fitting metaphor for the neglect that defines the experience.
This is not luxury, it’s a farce. I would strongly advise against wasting your time or money on this vile establishment. Saint-Tropez has far better to offer. Steer clear!!!!
Wir hatten zwei Nächte gebucht, nach dem ersten Tag funktionierten prompt die Zimmerschlüssel nicht mehr.
Lage und Pool sind top. Transfer in Zentrum von St. Tropez ist inklusive.
1) when we arrived our safe was locked shut. When we requested it to be opened we were told the staff with the safe tool wouldn’t be there until 8am. For an international traveler not having a working safe in a hotel room is pretty important. I will give the hotel credit for changing our room, however I think the hotel needs to take responsibility at all times for the safety and well being of guest belongings. Whatever tool is needed to open a safe needs to be available for guests upon arrival.
2) when we went to the pool in the afternoon towels and dirty dishes/towels were on most of the chairs. I understand that it was later in the day, but there should still be attentive staff checking if the pool area is usable for guests to come and relax.
3) while the staff was helpful, if felt like they moved slowly and weren’t always very visible. An example is that there was a bar by the pool and we had to flag someone down to get us a cocktail. It wasn’t clear if they were working at the bar or the restaurant.
4) the website advertised that they had a Maserati shuttle, but the shuttle that was used was a black van. I understand that we didn’t have to be driven in it, but the advertisement seems odd if we weren’t offered.
Overall the hotel property was beautiful, but the service was lacking for a hotel that is listed as 5 star.
Positives:
The pools are beautiful
The included breakfast was delicious
Negatives:
When we arrived at the pool late in the afternoon every chair was filled with dirty towels and drinks despite there not being any other guests in sight. We had to walk around to find someone to clean off the chairs so we could have a seat and they continued to just leave empty drink glasses on the tables by the chairs.
We went with another couple and neither of the safes worked in our rooms. They had to have their room switched because the employee who could fix safes was not there that day. Ours was fixed for about 12 hours and did not work again the next day. Luckily it was open when it stopped working again. When you are traveling internationally, a safe is a must for your passports.
They advertise a Maserati shuttle but it’s actually a black van - small thing.
The rooms just felt cheap. You could hear everything in the hallways all night and you felt like everything in the room was on the verge of breaking. At the end of the hallway, the room doors were literally right next to each other so you couldn’t tell if someone was knocking on your door on one of the neighboring rooms and there was no peephole to check so you had to open your door each time. The phone didn’t really work so we couldn’t call the front desk if we needed something. There was also zero countertop in the bathroom so no place to set anything.
First, it's worth noting that the building used to be a hospital, a fact readily shared upon arrival. The intriguing aspect, however, is that the interior design still retains remnants of its hospital origins, which becomes unmistakably apparent once this fact is brought to one's attention. For example, the room's aesthetics were striking in their sterility. The predominant use of pristine white, devoid of any decorative elements or accents, created an ambiance that felt clinical and somewhat lacking in warmth. While minimalism can be appreciated, we found ourselves longing for touches of character or personalized charm to enhance the overall ambiance. The hallways were strangely dark, with sparse lighting, which ironically gave them more of a laser tag vibe than a traditional hotel. This darkness extended to the 'Kube'-shaped bathrooms, which were unfortunately also lacking in light.
We were disappointed with the size of the room and its amenities. It felt compact to the point of feeling cramped and lacked some expected conveniences, such as a luggage rack. The bed, which appeared as a full or queen size in the pictures, turned out to be two small twins pushed together. This caused some discomfort during sleep due to the noticeable gap in the middle. To top it off, our experience with the housekeeping service was less than satisfactory. They missed cleaning the room for one day, and when it was finally tidied up, we found ourselves locked out of the bathroom. Resorting to unlocking the door with a spoon was certainly not on our holiday to-do list, and the delay in assistance from the hotel staff was frustrating.
Nevertheless, we must compliment the stunning view from our room. The panorama, encompassing the serene waters and towering mountains, was truly breathtaking. It provided a redeeming quality that partly balanced out the drawbacks.
Overall, while the Kube Hotel has potential and an incredible location, it fell short in certain aspects of comfort and service. We hope they take this feedback into account and make necessary improvements for future guests. We rate it three stars
Zuerst wurde behauptet sie hätten nichts und dann haben sie die Tastatur plötzlich gefunden und verlangen dass ich auf meine Kosten sie per Post senden muss.
