Un hotel bel époque au coeur de Cannes

Le bâtiment en lui même est splendide comme son nom l indique, bien repeint en blanc! Mais l intérieur est décevant avec une petite réception ( dames charmantes!) chambre minuscule au décor dessué et vieillot , salle de bain idem , le séchoir à cheveux ne fonctionnait pas! petit déjeuner à 20 euros avec interdiction de fumer ! apéritifs très onéreux avec des pigeons qui vous sautent sur la table! bref séjour décevant et bien des choses à améliorer pour redorer la notoriété de cet établissement historique!

Une expérience inoubliable ! Le rooftop offre une vue à couper le souffle sur la mer et toute la ville de Nice, parfait pour un coucher de soleil magique. L’ambiance est chic mais détendue, et le service est vraiment exceptionnel. Un grand merci à Roméo, particulièrement attentionné et souriant, qui a rendu notre soirée encore plus agréable. Un lieu à ne pas manquer si vous êtes de passage à Nice !

Staff lovely, hotel in good location , outdoor space good. Room appalling…. Spent a lot of money on this hotel but room was stuck in 1980.. carpet horrible, wooden wardrobes all bashed and needing repairs.. shower useless … air con useless.. everything was shoddy.. not what I was to expect .. room 115 .. apparently higher floors are better but we were not given a choice of room allocation

Pedí el mismo plato dos días diferentes y me pusieron menos unidades de fingers la segunda vez. Lo reclame y no me dieron solución. Me cobraron lo mismo que el primer día y me habían puesto menos.

Annyi negatívum, hogy a Pool bar-ban magasak az árak és a takarító ledobta a ruháinkat a földre, miután kitakarított a szobában. Azt pedig, nem kéne hagyni, hogy a kutyák szabadon mászkálhassanak a medencéknél. A többi dolog rendben volt.

The hotel is very nice with an excellent location in Nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is that a lot of the equipment in the gym was broken unserviceable.

The room smelled like sewage — it was honestly unbearable. The entire place felt damp, outdated, and poorly maintained. This is nowhere near the quality you’d expect from a 4-star hotel.

Hôtel vieux qui ne mérite absolument pas 4 étoiles mais 2. Photos trompeuses sur le site et rien à voir avec la réalité. Voir en image ! La réalité c’est ce que je vous montre et pas les photos sur Maps qui sont fausses. Même la réception n’est pas comme décrite. Scandaleux comme qualité.

Check-in was seamless — quick, efficient, and accompanied by helpful information about the hotel amenities and local attractions.||The reception team went above and beyond throughout my stay. Whether it was assisting with last-minute dinner reservations, arranging transportation, or simply offering friendly conversation, they made me feel truly welcome and valued. Special thanks to Mr Mauro and his team, who consistently delivered service with professionalism, warmth, and a personal touch.||The front desk is the heart of any hotel, and here, it absolutely shines. I left feeling not just like a guest, but like part of the family. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely return!

Très mauvaise surprise en découvrant notre « suite », nous sélectionné une chambre triple moderne pour un voyage entre amies, nous poussons la porte et découvrons une pièce très vieillotte, de la moquette orange, des rideaux rayés jaunes et rouges du bois partout. Tapisserie gaufrée jaune bref ce n’est pas du tout ce que nous avions choisi. Et nous constatons aussi qu’il n’y à pas de double vitrage! Nous avons l’impression d être dans la rue! Un bruit constant! Nous avons toutes très mal dormi! Le personnel n’a pas trouvé de solution sur place, l hôtel étant soi disant complet et le responsable absent à chaque fois que nous nous sommes présentées à l’accueil! On nous a dit d’envoyer un mail que celui ci serait pris en considération, il n’en est rien! Deux mails envoyés et aucune réponse! Une fois que tout est payé et que le séjour est passé forcément il n’y a plus personne! |La piscine est petite, il y a très peu de transats, peut être une dizaine, nous n’avons pas pu nous installer une seule fois! déçues de notre séjour, nous ne recommandons pas cet établissement. Seul point positif, le confort de la literie mais entaché par le vitrage simple qui nous a empêché de passer de bonnes nuits

Hotellet er nedslitt (2025) og rooftopen er ikke hva den selges inn som. Rotete med mange nivåer, slitt og ikke spesielt sjarmerende. Rommene har ikke vært pusset opp på mange år, vegg tll vegg tepper, brennnerker i vegger og eim av ganmel sigarettrøyk. Servicen er imidlertid god, ihvertfall i skranken. To godt voksne menn tok oss vel imot og var raske med å betale oss pengene tilbake da vi ville kansellere. Hotellet ligger også et godt stykke fra gamlebyen. Velg noe annet.

We were given a room with a person already in the room.. not a great start. We went to use the pool and was told that there were no towels and to use our room towels and then use them to shower later on.. The bar staff attertude was rude and unhelpful if it was not for the Housekeeper who was wonderful l would say stay away from this hotel .. Room was very tired looking..breakfast was ok..

We stayed in the middle of May. The hotel was clean and neat. The reception staff were fine, but the gentleman boss could benefit from being a bit more friendlier.
We had a twin room, which was clean, fresh and ample for our 5-day visit. There was a rather odd sliding door/window that we had to open which led to a strange 2-foot carpeted area and then windows to open and get fresh air.
Breakfast was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed that it set us up for our day of sightseeing beauty Nice. The breakfast staff were hardworking and deserve praise for their work.
I'd recommend it as it was in an ideal position for the beach, trains/trams.

Very clean friendly hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Close to beach and old town. We really enjoyed our stay here. I don’t understand the bad reviews. Seem like a different hotel? Only negative is the room was a little small, but not really a problem. I definitely would stay here again!

As we had previously stayed at the Splendid Hotel we were looking forward to a return visit, this time for 7 days. We were certainly not disappointed as from the time we stepped out of the taxi until we left to return home we received excellent service and politeness from all the staff. The hotel was spotless and the room was the same. The only disappointment in the room was that there weren't enough drawers for putting things away, but there was a very large wardrobe for hanging clothes.|Breakfast was served in the roof top restaurant with great views over Nice. There was a good choice of hot and cold food plus many cakes etc. We also used the roof top bar for snacks in the evening. There was a selection of Tapas and also some main courses. There was a pool, hot tub, sunbathing and seating area also at the roof top. In all a very good 4* hotel we would recommend for staying away from the busy centre. It's about a 20 minute walk to Nice main station and about 10 minutes to the nearest tram stop.

They need to up their game being a new member of the Warwick group. I am a high tier member and had to mention this several times even when this was in my booking to avail of my amenities. They charged me for breakfast when it’s supposed to be free but I didn’t have time to argue with them anymore. Such a contrast from the hotel, a Warwick one I just came from in London!|Breakfast service was a hot mess! No cutlery, no water, no cups.. and this was the same the next day. |Room was nice with a balcony which I had booked. Small bathroom and amenities not replenished. |I’ll look for somewhere else to stay the next time I’m here.

We stayed here as a group of friends and had two rooms. They are basic enough but clean and spacious with a nice balcony. Daily room service and a complimentary minibar with soft drinks. Nice touch. ||I had an excellent massage in the spa. We used the rooftop bar most days and found the service and staff to be friendly and attentive. We also used the hot tub, a real treat!||The breakfast, which we paid extra for, really did have something for every taste. However, one or the other of the two coffee machines, and once both, stopped working temporarily for various reasons on all three mornings, leaving queues for coffee to enjoy with breakfast. Personally, I would look for a refund from the machine supplier as they aren’t fit for purpose. ||Overall, the hotel is very well located, very close to the train station (10 min walk) for day trips to Cannes/Antibes/Villefranche Sur Mer/Monte Carlo etc., 10 minute walk to ‘Old Nice’, 5 minute walk to the beach - we really enjoyed staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.

Das Hotelzimmer ist eine Enttäuschung! Wir haben ein Zimmer Deluxe gebucht, welches mit einem unbrauchbaren Bettsofa ausgestattet ist. Zimmer 320. Als wir für einen Ersatz an der Rezeption fragten mussten die unschuldigen Mitarbeiter uns ausrichten, dass das Hotel Management keine Lösung für dieses Problem bietet und wir damit auskommen müssen. Das Problem sei schon länger bekannt. Wir haben uns nun entschieden, die Matratze an den Boden zu legen und dort zu schlafen. Wir hoffen, dass diese Unterkunft zukünftig etwas dagegen unternimmt. Sehr enttäuschend für den doch hohen Preis und 4 Sterne...

We (family of 5 adults) stayed here in April over the Easter Weekend. We found it a really nice hotel. Very central, very clean, staff were accommodating and polite and willing to assist. We had 3 rooms and each was a different size. We all had a balcony (ours was the best with a sea view!) and a mini fridge with drinks replenished free of charge very day. Rooms serviced every day also and the common areas are all very clean. Bed linen and towels were spotless. The pool and jacuzzi area are very nice as is the bar / restaurant. We only had breakfast once in the restaurant (buffet style - again very good) while we had drinks in the bar and again the staff were excellent. |Overall I really enjoyed this hotel and didn't encounter any negatives and will return to beautiful Nice and stay at the Hotel Splendid again. |Thanks all.

Quick checkin. Upgraded to a deluxe room with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Comfortable bed. Air con worked for 2 days then not working. All air con switched off because reception said it was still end of winter (it was a warm April). Very stuffy. Provided a fan.|Hairdryer times out after 5 mins in bathroom. Hotel reception provided a better one to use. Kettle in room and fridge. Complimentary drinks in fridge of 1 still water, 1 sparkling water, 1 can orange juice and 1 can of Pepsi replaced daily when used.|Breakfast consisted of usual fayre. Hot: scrambled eggs, chicken sausages, pork sausages, garlic potatoes and streaky bacon daily. Cold: Some cheese, ham, salad, yoghurt breads, cakes etc.|Rooftop bar closes at 10 15pm. Quite early.|Good location. Recommend Le Havana bar. 7 min walk away.|We were told it was an extra charge to use Spa. Could use the sauna which was apparently in the gym. Pool was open on rooftop.

Excellent hotel. Don’t believe any negative reviews. Roof top bar and pool are “splendid”. Staff are very friendly. Conveniently located for shops, old town and sea front.||Minor gripe with the air conditioning which apparently does not com on until May (we are here in April and the room is very warm)||Breakfast is very good and the views from the restaurant are amazing.||Would definitely stay here again.

Das Hotel bot uns im März ein hervorragendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Personen an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sauber und der Zimmerservice hat rasch und gründlich gearbeitet. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön. Erwähnenswert ist auch der sehr gute Zimmerservice.
