Construit en 1860, le Beau Rivage Hôtel a toujours été le lieu de prédilection d'artistes et d'intellectuels. Idéalement situé, à l'entrée du Vieux-Nice et en face de la mer où vous attend sa plage privée, c'est un établissement résolument contemporain, signé par l'architecte Michel Wilmotte. Il a toutefois su conserver son charme niçois avec sa magnifique façade datant de la fin du XIXe siècle. Ses prestations et équipements bénéficient d'un standing haut de gamme. Les chambres sont modernes, spacieuses et lumineuses. L'un des hôtels les plus agréables de Nice.

So we complained.
We were moved to a room on the 2nd floor that was much nicer and actually resembled the pictures posted online. But it was right beside the lift which goes up and down all through the night.
It was a cynical exploitation of the fact that we had prepaid through Expedia . You can't even talk to people at Expedia so there was no recourse.

오래된 숙소임. 바다뷰 방을 고르는게 아니라면 절대로 비추천함. 직원은 친절함
예약사이트에는 분명 에어컨이 있다고 했지만 매우 약하게 켜줌.
화장실 타일 깨져있음. 뭔가 지저분한 느낌....... 굳이 여기를 올 필요 없다.
여기는 4성급이 아닌거같음. 3성급 수준임

The staff were excellent and friendly in their welcome and service. However, it would have been good to have had more information at check-in, such as their partnership with Mattisse Museum where guests could have free entrance. But we were delighted with copies of Mattisse work around the hotel and in our rooms.
I've been visiting Nice for over thirty years and have stayed in many hotels. I loved staying at the Beau Rivage Hotel so much, I would like to adopt it as my preferred hotel to stay in Nice which I visit every year except during the pandemic.
I recommend this hotel highly, although it would be good to have some of their facilities, like breakfast and beach area as complimentary or at a lower price to guests.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at this hotel and cannot wait to stay there again.
