Une expérience gastronomique exceptionnelle !

De l’accueil à l’assiette, nous nous souviendrons de notre venue à la Rotonde. Nous avons eu le plaisir d’être accompagnés par Alim, qui, avec beaucoup de sympathie et bienveillance, a rendu notre soirée inoubliable.
Les saveurs des plats, notamment la pastilla, ont éveillé en nous des souvenirs d’enfance impérissables.
Que vous soyez de passage ou que vous viviez ici, prenez le temps de découvrir ou redécouvrir la gastronomie méditerranéenne au sein de la Rotonde.

Erreur sur la commande d'un des deux menus enfants

Couteaux qui est tombé par la serveuse et qui n'est pas jamais revenu nous avons dû solliciter nous même un autre couteau

On nous sollicite si nous voulons une bouteille d'eau pour poursuivre le repas nous répondons par l'affirmative et nous devons relancer avant de voir enfin arriver cette bouteille

Des couverts qui tombent lorsqu'ils débarrassent la table causant du bruit

Sans doute une situation rare mais cela est préjudiciable à l'image de cet hôtel qui est une institution et un emblème niçois

Vraiment dommage

Les serveurs néanmoins sont toujours fidèle a l'esprit du negresco disponible et bienveillant

La cuisine elle est bonne est maîtrisée

Nous sommes venus manger pour notre voyage de noce, l’accueil a été parfait, notre serveur Alim a été vraiment au petits soins, le service a été irréprochable du début à la fin, tous les plats des entrées aux desserts étaient tous aussi beaux que bons avec une grande découverte de saveurs, nous avons passé un moment très agréable!!!

La Rotonde offers excellent traditional French cuisine served with flare, in a beautiful setting. There is an excellent prix-fixe menu that will leave even the fussiest diner impressed. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth the expense, booking a table, and getting dressed up a bit (business casual is entirely acceptable.)

Le cadre était magnifique et la nourriture était excellente. Mention spéciale pour Alim, qui s’est occupé de nous durant le repas et qui a été formidable.
Ceci dit, les autres serveurs ont également été géniaux avec nous, nous avons été très bien accueillis.
Je recommande vraiment !

Excellent food and amazing atmosphere. Unfortunately the service was not good, the people are really prepared to treated us well but it took more time than we expected. Everything was slowly and to request the waiter in the table was hard. They have to better understand what kind of service they have to provide as a level of the restaurant.

Dans ce cadre feutré et élégant de la grande brasserie de ce prestigieux hôtel niçois,
Nous avons passé une soirée chaleureuse, entre cuisine soignée, service attentionné et souci du détail.
Une cuisine fidèle à l’esprit brasserie, sublimée par le savoir-faire du chef exécutif.

Un remerciement particulier à Thibaut, gérant du restaurant, attentif et passionné, qui a pris le temps de nous faire découvrir ce restaurant.
Une entrée en matière à la fois généreuse et subtilement relevée : une focaccia tiède à la truffe, relevée par une sauce chimichurri au piment oiseau.

Le foie gras de canard mi-cuit et son accompagnement nous a séduit par l''équilibre entre la finesse du produit et la fraîcheur fruitée de l’accompagnement.
Etant Toulousain, nous avons apprécié l’originalité du plat.

Le filet de loup rôti, accompagné de tagliatelles fines de courgettes et de tomates confites, s’accorde parfaitement avec la sauce chimichurri.
Le loup rôti, fondant et délicat, se marie au léger croquant des légumes et à la fraîcheur relevée de la sauce chimichurri.

Le repas se termine sur une note de fraîcheur et de gourmandise avec un entremet à la fraise de l’arrière-pays, accompagné d''une ganache et d''un sorbet.
Un dessert très bien accompagné par un muscat Corse, conseillé par David, notre responsable de table, qui nous a bien conseillé tant sur les plats que les vins
(comme le Chablis sur le loup).

Un mot également pour saluer Yanis, dont la gentillesse et la qualité de service ont contribué au plaisir de la soirée.
Le tout s’est déroulé dans une ambiance musicale légèrement rythmée, qui accompagne agréablement le repas sans perturber la conversation.
Une adresse où l’on reviendra volontiers pour ce cadre chaleureux, son service impeccable et sa cuisine de brasserie raffinée.

Wir hatten per Mail unseren Besuch angekündigt und feierten dort unseren Doppelgeburtstag! Der sich in Bewegung befindliche Sternenhimmel ist ein Highlight! Das Menü ein kulinarisches Highlight! Es war alles extrem lecker! Ceviche von der Dorade mit Radieschen unglaublich geschmackvoll! Die Kerzen auf unserem Nachtisch eine tolle Überraschung! Preise absolut akzeptabel für diese Qualität! Großes Kino und vielen Dank! Wir waren dort am 01.07.2025

Avocado tartar 3/5 stars - the chef mix the soft and unriped hard avocado so I think that’s not so professional for this top famous hotel

Fish soup- 4/5 stars. Their signature dish but I had much better fish soup. Their coutons were very hard and soup was a bit too salty.

View was nice but can’t say amazing because you see the streets and the cars

Beautiful restaurant located in a very nice 5 star hotel. Excellent service and exceptional food. Little bit more expensive than most places but worth it.

The restaurant is very nice and cute.
The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious. The Steve Molinari fish soup was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The portions are generous: we ordered one tasting menu and, for the other person, a starter and a main dish — and we both ended up full.
The staff was very friendly and professional.
We’ll definitely be coming back.

Our server Emelie (I hope that’s right) was fabulous! We had a great night. We are from Germany and can’t speak French but we we were all working together to make it work. Thank you Emelie! Food was phantastic. Unfortunately, we didn’t like the drinks very much though they were well crafted but I wish there was one or two more classics on the menu like a proper Daiquiri, a Gimlet or anything like that cause I think it’s perfect for a hot night at the French Riviera.

Delicious food.

Disclaimer up front - this is not a criticism of the servers (who were working hard) or the food, but the system of service. Very slow and inefficient, which spoils the enjoyment of the food.

The food we had was generally good. Foie gras and salad to start, with roast pork and fish soup for the mains. We received the pork quite cold, but let me get to the reasons behind that - which was the speed of service.

We rushed to arrive at our reservation time 1945hrs. We were promptly served with water by a friendly waiter. From then, we waited around 15 minutes before the main server came to take our drinks order. After pouring two glasses of wine, it was another 10 minutes before we got our food orders in (this brings us to around 2010hrs).

Our starters came at 2040hrs, then mains at 2115hrs. As I said above, the pork was effectively cold and just room temperature (I doubt it was meant to be served that way as it was a roast pork loin). I wonder if it was because they left it on the serving line while waiting for the soup to get ready. This was really quite inexcusable and ruined the meal
for us.

Dessert came at 2140hrs, and it took another 15minutes for me to even try to pay the bill. So the entire meal was more than 2 hours for a simple 3 course meal.

The issue is not so much the time it took, but the amount of inordinate waiting in between each stage of the meal.

It seemed to me that the bottleneck was that the main server had to take everyone’s orders, clear their plates and handle the bill payments. A lot of other waiters could only serve food and drink. In my estimate, that means one man was serving over 25-30 people.

Another small unhappiness of mine is the huge markup on wine. Each glass of wine was 28 euros, when the entire bottle would be around 30-40 from a store. But that’s not surprising for restaurants - so I won’t hold it against them. Just a note for those hoping to get a good deal on wine.

Nous sommes revenus dans cette institution pour nos 3 ans de mariage après s’être fiancés il y a 4 ans dans ce sublime hôtel !
La Rotonde, magnifique établissement au style art déco, une gastronomie exquise et une belle soirée accompagnée par un service d’excellence ! Un merci tout particulier à Yanis, jeune homme méritant, professionnel et très agréable, qui a orchestré notre dîner avec beaucoup d’attention.
Le rendez-vous est pris pour l’année prochaine !

This is a not miss restaurant in Nice! The staff are just next level amazing and everyone was so helpful for my dairy and gluten allergy. They brought our gluten free bread and even made me a special dessert. Highly recommend!

Siamo venuti a fare colazione alla Rotonde con la mia famiglia e abbiamo scelto il buffet, seguendo il consiglio della hostess Federica.
È stata davvero gentilissima e disponibile nello spiegarci con calma come funzionava il servizio. È stato bello – e rassicurante – trovare una persona così cordiale ed educata, qualità non sempre scontate a Nizza. Grazie ancora per l’accoglienza: colazione top!

Nous avons dîné hier à la rotonde et quelle belle soirée. Le cadre, la cuisine, le vin, le personnel tout était parfait. Nous n'oublierons jamais ce délicieux moment. Classe, efficacité, simplicité et générosité du début à la fin. Merci à notre serveur Jérémy et césar de la meilleure hôtesse à Émilie. Quand l'élégance et le naturel sont ainsi associés c'est magique ne changez rien.

Superbe soirée d’anniversaire dans ce sublime écrin qu’est le Negresco !

En un mot "Star", Le Negresco est un endroit majestueux !! J'ai eu la chance d'y aller pour "Le Bal Du Negresco", un moment inoubliable tu as l'impression d'être une star pendant une soirée !! Le restaurant comme l'hôtel est sublime !! Même si cela reste un lieu plutôt cher, je vous conseille d'y aller simplement pour prendre un verre en terrasse et vous rendre à l'intérieur pour découvrir ce bijou d'architecture !! Un endroit incroyable sur la Côte d'Azur :)
