A recent dinner at Le Bar des Oiseaux reminded me why it remains one of the most consistently satisfying restaurants in Nice. The seasonal menu was thoughtful and well-executed — I had a delicate fish dish that was both elegant and full of flavor. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere felt warm and genuinely local.

It’s a place I continue to recommend in my Nice restaurant guide — understated, creative, and deeply rooted in the spirit of the city.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment, l accueil était parfait, le serveur était attentionné et souriant, les plats étaient finement travaillés avec des saveurs équilibrées. Menu à un prix raisonnable, je recommande ????

Il fallait le dire que le menu du midi à 23€ était un menu enfant !! C’est plus le bar aux moineaux qu’aux oiseaux ici…

Bonjour.

Petit restaurant sympathique sur Nice.

Nous étions 5.
C'était une belle découverte.
Pas très cher. Prix correct.

Tout était délicieux.
Un peu court sur les quantités. Mais la qualité était présente.

Un effort sur la présentation c'est agréable.

Le service très bien malgré un monde fou.
Très bon accueil aussi. Rien à dire.

Je reviendrais avec plaisir.
Bonne continuation.

Me and my boyfriend visited nice for the first time and had our first dinner at this restaurant. I actually can’t believe this restaurant was mentioned in the Micheline guide. Our food didn’t taste anything, it was extremely bland. The appetizer was ok but nothing more than that. It was such a disappointing experience. I will give it two stars because of the extremely charming environment and our nice service but the food was so bad. Maybe it was just a one time occurrence and we were unlucky?

Service really bad and unfriendly. Food bad aswell. Ravioli tasteless, watery sauce. Duckbreast bad and unsalted aswell. Can‘t recommend.

Restaurant, nous avions l’habitude d’aller, Mais qui a bien changé ! Les places sont de plus en plus petits dans la salade de calamars Il y a plus de pâtes qui ressemble à des calamars que de calamars. Plat principal, froid franchement pas top
Serveuse limite de la sympathie, on sent un raz le bol …. C’est très dommage, c’était une bonne adresse

Excellent restaurant situé dans le Vieux Nice, avec la formule du midi, vous avez une cuisine niçoise sophistiquée avec de délicieux produits. Le service était rapide, les serveurs souriants et efficaces. Nous avons tout adoré (calamars, bourride, volaille…), c’est une adresse à retenir, mais réservez à l’avance ou venez tôt.

Amazing. We stop here every time we’re in Nice. The food is terrific, prix fix menu is well priced, portions are perfect, service professional and friendly. Sit outside, nothing like being in the shade in the old streets in Nice.

Har varit här flera gånger och varit väldigt nöjda på alla sätt. Idag var vi tillbaka men tyckte att maten kanske inte riktigt levde upp till samma nivå som tidigare. Men annars mycket bra. Service på topp och så mysigt.

We went for lunch. Our waiter was very friendly and spoke excellent English. He talked us through the menu and made recommendations. The calamari was among the best I've ever had, with a unique texture unlike what I've had before. It was ace! The bourride was also lovely, and the wine suggested with it was also lovely! An excellent meal and a steal at the price.

Excellent！今回の南フランスの旅行では複数のお店で食事をしましたが、味に関しては間違いなくこのお店がトップでした。単純なフレンチやイタリアンの枠にハマらないクリエイティブでユニークな発想が新鮮で美味しかった。しかも高い質に反してかなり手頃なお値段。
海辺の景色がウリのお店ももちろん素敵だったけど、路地裏にあるこのお店は本当に美味しいものが食べたい人にこそ是非訪ねてみてほしい隠れ名店でした。美味しすぎて隣の老夫婦と意気投合したのも良い思い出。

친구 추천 받고 방문했는데 음식이 아주 훌륭했습니다. 에피타이저 2개 메인 2개 와인까지 주문해서 정말 맛있게 잘 먹었어요. 개인적으로 니스에서 먹은 음식 중에 가장 맛있었던 것 같아요. 제가 주문한 요리 모두 맛있어서 추천 드릴 수 있습니다.
예약 안하고 가도 자리는 있었습니다만 미리 예약 하는 것을 추천 드립니다. 왜냐면 영업 시간이 매우 짧아요.

Une fois encore rien à dire !! Déjeuner dans la vieille ville dans ce restaurant qui est un incontournable à Nice :)
Impossible de passer à côté sans s’y arrêter !
Du service à l’assiette rien à dire c'était impeccable…

Just say “no” — we were told to return at 9pm only to be effectively turned away twice with no alternatives as the night grew late. Don’t bother with this place, no matter how great it seems

Zum Mittagessen in dem tollen Restaurant gewesen.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich emfangen, haben unseren Wein bestellt. Uns wurde das Menü vorgestellt. War sehr viel los aber davon hat man beim Personal (Service wie Küche) nichts bemerkt, im Gegenteil alle sehr fröhlich gewesen.
Das Essen ein Gedicht, von der Vorspeise über Hauptgang bis ans Dessert.
Das beste Essen das wir in der Côte d‘ Azur hatten.
Bin Gastronom und das was geboten wurde ist Spitzenklasse

Great place to eat in Nice. Always full at dinner, a little bit crowdy.The beef is great and the side-dish with baby-potatoes is also great. The desserts though - not great.

Первый раз мы посетили этот ресторан весной прошлого года и остались очень довольны. Еда была очень вкусная и порции средние, но достаточные, чтобы наесться. Последнее посещении несколько дней назад нас разочаровало. Все было по прежнему вкусно, но очень и очень мало. Мы совершенно не наелись. Больше туда не пойдем.
