Bella location e servizio cordiale. Se non fosse che dopo aver ordinato un filetto di manzo da 30 euro ci si rende conto che la carne è solo un 20% dell'intero piatto, affogata tra patate e salse.
Ho fatto notare che la quantità fosse irrisoria e mi è stato risposto che "la qualità si paga".
Mi sono alzato da tavola ancora affamato. Consiglio vivamente di cenare altrove.

Mon restaurant préféré, tout simplement !
Chaque visite est un vrai bonheur. L’accueil est toujours chaleureux, les plats sont délicieux et préparés avec soin, et l’ambiance est à la fois conviviale et apaisante. On sent que tout est fait avec passion. C’est LE lieu où je reviens encore et encore, les yeux fermés. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe !

I’m not sure why this place has a high rating. The service was good nothing special. But the food was below average. We ordered 3 starters and 3 main courses and I didn’t like any of them. Most importantly tables are extremely small and all the tables are located too close to each other, so it was very uncomfortable to seat and eat even for a petite woman and a little child. Do not recommend this place.

Not really worth all the hype of a 4.6 star review average if you’re a foodie or a chef. The chef here tries too hard to be different. The starters were ok, but the beef fillet came with more marinara sauce than meat. Not to be mean, but we eat better at home.

Un de nos endroits préférés dans le Vieux Nice. Les plats sont frais, avec de bons produits, le souci du détail et la touche d'originalité. Tout ce qu'on aime et toujours un plaisir d'y revenir!

L’une des meilleures adresses de Nice. Quel talent en cuisine ! On ressent le travail dans la sélection de chaque produits qui compose les assiettes. C’était pour nous une très belle expérience gustative et sans manquer en quantité. Merci encore à l’équipe en salle, très pro et accueillante.

We came to this restaurant with high expectations after seeing their reviews and knowing that they have a michelin star. The atmosphere was nice and the interior is beautiful. The service is professional and quick. We were disappointed with the quality and flavour of the food. My husband and I both ordered the steak fillet and asked for rare. The steaks came out dry, tough and over-cooked, closer to medium-well.

Came here for the past 4 years everytime we holiday in Nice and the food has always been amazing! The place is nice and cosy, the people are friendly, and food is delicious, I recommend it (make sure to make a reservation:) )

While our waiter was professional and seemed to genuinely try to create a good experience, I was left deeply disappointed with our visit. I initially requested a well-done steak, especially after being unable to choose a side due to the restaurant's preset dish policy. Despite my clear request, I was served a medium-rare steak. I understand the culinary preference for serving meat this way, but I personally do not eat undercooked meat.
For a €29 dish, I ended up only eating the potatoes and sauce, which felt like a complete rip-off.
Additionally, service was disorganized. Dirty plates were left on our table and only partially cleared, even after we asked for them to be removed. The starters were overpriced, and the artichoke in particular was so tough it was nearly impossible to chew, let alone swallow.

Wow! This place is definitely worth the trip. The restaurant itself is small - we were seated in the back but it was actually kind of nice since it was hot and humid outside and was air conditioned where we sat. The good food was superb and I mean everything we ordered. From the presentation to the exquisite taste. Would most definitely come back here again if ever in Nice. Word of advice - make a reservation.

I enjoyed my lunch here. The ceviche is fantastic and the duck breast was solid. I think the strawberry Mille feuille could’ve been better but maybe that’s just how they are. I didn’t find it particularly exciting.
Other than that, the service was warm and friendly and I enjoyed my experience. I’d recommend coming here and giving it a try.

Comptoir du Marché served some of the best food we've had during our entire trip in France. Delicious, layered, and filling. The menu changes weekly and the ingredients are very fresh.

Excellent food and service!!! I’m so glad we booked this ahead of time. Highly recommend. The calamari, duck and sea bass were great. I would recommend to anyone visiting Nice. Don’t go to the tourist attractions, come here!

Lovely authentic french cuisine in the heart of Old Town. Food is delicious as always and it’s nice to see the changing menus and using fresh seasonal ingredients. Waiters are attentive and patient even when the restaurant is full.

My favorite restaurant in Nice! World-class French cuisine, excellent professional service, and a cute and charming atmosphere. They have a chalkboard menu that seems to rotate over time - for example, the Chef's Risotto I had seems to be different from other past reviews. The appetizer (Calamars à la plancha, antichant, sauce à l'orange), main (Risotto du chef), and desert (Cheese cake aux agrumes, sorbet mandarine) that I had were all outstanding in both presentation and taste. The desert in particular surprised me, it is truly phenomenal - if it's on the menu when you go, make sure to try it! Service is available in both French and English. You will probably need a reservation - I got lucky and happened to get one of the only free tables, late on a Friday night in the middle of February.

Samstag, 27. Januar... ein schöner Tag, heute darf ich das Comtpoir du Marché besuchen. Seit Monaten bin ich immer wieder in Nizza. Aber eine Nizza-Reise ohne ein Besuch im Comptoir Du Marché ist keine Nizza-Reise. Über das Essen kann ich nur schwärmen, wie ganz viele andere hier. Wunderbare Gerichte und so einfach wie es klingt: Kartoffelauflauf. Hier an der Rue du Marché wurde er neu erfunden. Toll, einfach toll. Über die Ente könnte ich Gedichte schreiben. Die Vorspeisen? Ja bitte alle. Die Entenleber nicht vergessen.

Und dann die Crew. Chefin hinter dem Tresen, wie gewohnt. Ihre Blick sind überall, kann sich an jeden Gast erinnern. Die Fachleute im Service? Sind immer da, wenn man sie ruft und kommen vielfach wie gerufen. Hohe Sympathie, höchste Kenntnisse über die angebotenen Speisen, Empfehlungen dort wo man sich wünscht. Gastfreundschaft, Dienstleistungskompetenz, Mediterrane Küchenkultur, Liebe zum Job; 5 Sterne. Comptoir du Marché 12 Points.

PS: Ich durfte ein Dessert geniessen.... ich freue mich auf den April.
