Quiet site with a lovely pool. Great food!

This site is an absolute treasure, close to the southern motorway network so was perfect for an overnight stop en route to the med.|On arrival access was straightforward, despite a previous review saying the bridge was tricky we had no problems and given the option to select our own pitch.|The site is beautiful and so tranquil . We reserved dinner in the restaurant and had 4 courses plus wine and coffee for €23 - we felt like we had robbed them, food was excellent but no frills, service was perfectly paced for a leisurely dinner |We would not hesitate to stay here again

Petit camping très sympathique, très bien tenu. Belle piscine, petit restau du soir sur réservation. Le petit coin de rivière pour baigner notre ????, un lac pour les pêcheurs, de grands emplacements à l'ombre, un peu trop de bebetes pour moi (piquée plusieurs fois????)mais c'est normal nous sommes en pleine nature. Merci à vous pour ces bons moments. Nous y étions en Juillet 2024.

Always just perfect, easy access onto the south of france and corsica

Per toeval terecht gekomen op onze terugreis vanuit Spanje. We waren echt blij verrast. Mooie ,grote plaatsen in de natuur. Rust en stilte ! Sanitair zeker dik ok. Toiletten MET WCpapier en dat in Frankrijk. Onthaal heel vriendelijk en duidelijk. 'S avonds lekker gegeten voor een heel redelijke prijs. Wij hebben spijt dat we maar 1 nacht kunnen blijven.

We had the great pleasure of spending a few nights at the beautifully situated campsite. Sue, George and Dot do a lot to make you feel welcome. The pitches are large with easy access to both electricity and water. We highly recommend this campsite.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit mais vraiment très bon accueil, endroit très calme propre et très bien entretenu . Merci à l'équipe du camping.

Staying for only 3 days in 2010, we fell I love with the campsite and continue to love it! We were lucky to be able to stay for 42 days and we loved the menu and, despite the disappointing early summer, once again Sue & George’s vegetable soups were a highlight – along with weekly lamb and occasional trout: we looked forward to the occasion of every meal and swimming twice a day in the super clean pool.

Superbe, camping très propre, bien ombragé calme,piscine très agréable
Seul petit soucis pour nous, et quel dommage pas assez d amperages sur la borne ( gril électrique + frigo faisait sauté les plombs)
Mais sans grillades de prévu nous reviendrons ????

What a gem of a site. The entrance alludes to the care and devotion Sue and George have dedicated to this lovely spot. The pitches are spacious on luscious lawns. There are plenty of shady spots and no shortage of electric hook ups snd water taps. The ablution facilities are excellent. There is great pool on a raised area of the grounds giving a panoramic view of the site, its lake and old mill house. The bar is spacious and Sue cooks fresh meals. You can order freshly baked bread and croissants for the morning.
The grounds are beautifully planted with a bursts of colour and beautiful trees and shrubs.
There is a very relaxed atmosphere here. I highly recommend this site.

This is a lovely site, run by friendly people who are enthusiastic about providing good service. It's only a few miles off the A62, so it would be perfect for a short stop en route to another location or a longer stop in relaxed surroundings. The site is quite small and very friendly. Many customers seem to return year after year. The site offers very reasonably priced caravan storage. Some of the customers clearly like to use this facility. The site has electric hook up pitches, but no serviced ones.
Perhaps the site should be renamed Butterfly Park, as I've never seen such an abundance and variety of them.
The toilet and shower block is probably not what most Brits are used to, but they are clean with plenty of hot water. There is a small bar and restaurant providing good evening fare. A heated swimming pool and a fishing lake that is free to use for campers.
In my opinion, this site best suits couples and older persons, as apart from the pool, there isn't a great deal to entertain kids.

Très beaux emplacements dans ce camping très verdoyant. Gros bémol : pas de wifi (gratuit mais ne capte pas)., pas de Tnt, peu de réseaux téléphoniques. Commerces assez éloignés.

Superbe lieu bucolique. Accueil très agréable. Établissement propre et chaleureux. Je recommande.

En Un mot. Tout est magnifique, le site, le calme, Les emplacements et le professionnalisme des propriétaires. Venez profiter du restaurant dans un cadre vraiment super Au bord d'un plan d'eau verdoyant et le menu digne d'un grand restaurant. Merci beaucoup nous reviendrons.????

Stayed for 5 nights lovely site enjoyed on site restaurant and relaxed atmosphere would go again and recommend for a short stay or longer friendly helpful ???? hubby enjoyed mthe trout fishing and sharing the lake side with the frogs

Lovely campsite, very peaceful staff here are helpful. We arrived late due to traffic for an overnight stopover and they made us fresh bread. Swimming pool on site is very clean and welcoming in the heat. I hope to be calling in again next year

Nous avons fait une petite halte pour la nuit dans ce magnifique petit camping, tenu par des anglais adorables et avons dîner copieusement. C’est vraiment un endroit à recommander ????

Après une après-midi de route sous forte chaleur nous cherchions un endroit calme, ombragé et reposant. Gagné! Très joli camping, bien entretenu, beaux emplacements à l'ombre, sanitaires propres, petits ruisseau, plan d'eau et jolie piscine.
Nous y avons également très bien mangé pour un tarif très raisonnable.
Je recommande cet endroit à qui cherche calme, verdure et repos.
L'accueil y est très agréable, tout est fait pour que les résidents s'y sentent bien.

We left this site yesterday after a 7 night stay. I wish it had been longer. A note of caution that is not in any way a criticism of the site. I tow an 8m long 2.4m wide 'van with a 5m car. It's a bit tricky to cross the bridge at the bottom of the slope (but 100% worth it!). Other guests to the rescue! The 'van was pitched in minutes thanks to Gary and Clare - who were not the only guests who offered.|The site does have quite a large number of British guests, but there were also Dutch, German, Spanish and , of course, French families too. Everyone was friendly. |The site is lovely, shaded pitches, greenery everywhere and flowing water as well as the lake. You do need effective insect repellent as a result.|There are lovely spaces around the lake, as well as the outside bar you can see in the photos. The swimming pool has steps in to make it accessible to most and is bigger than I expected. The sun loungers are comfortable and supported my considerable weight. You can move parasols around if you need more shade.|The toilet block is simple, but equipped with iron and ironing board, cubicles with hand basins as well as showers (with multiple hooks on the doors, a big plus). I mainly used the disabled toilet/shower room. All facilities were immaculate whenever I used them. There's even a washing line provided.|We ordered bread for every morning, as well as croissants, pains aux raisins etc. they were very good. On our last night we booked to eat at the on site restaurant. The formule at 22€ was excellent value and the food of a very high standard. |The local area has lots to see and do. Casteljaloux - the nearest town - has everything you could need if you don't want to travel - supermarkets, leisure facilities etc. If you're not used to rural France it's worth noting that take-aways close, in general, much earlier than in the UK. Shops close on Sunday afternoons and usually 12 -2 on other days. We thought Nérac was lovely.|A big plus for me was the almost total absence of light pollution - the number of stars that are visible is wonderful.|So, a clean, organised, welcoming site thanks to the amazing work of George, Sue and Dot. I really hope we'll be back next year.

Un camping très bien entretenu, bucolique, calme, piscine, plan d'eau, une piscine dépourvue d'enfant qui sautent et crient. Un endroit calme où les règles sont appliquées, des clients courtois et respectueux. Un menu à 22 euros très copieux, vin, café et dessert inclus.bravo aux propriétaire pour sa sensibilité à l'écologie.

Petit camping, au bord de l'eau avec un lac, ombragé, sanitaires parfait, vaisselle et lessive, réception ouverte jusqu'à 21h , calme à 10 km de A62 pour étape ou quelques nuitées et piscine et petit restaurant sur place
