Clare was wonderful from the start and ironed out the many wrinkles in our plan to bike from Bordeaux to Toulouse. She was super kind and extremely helpful. Our trip was all the better for her patience and time.
It was nice to be able to call in at the shop and meet her (and the team) in person, putting a face to the many many emails we had inflicted on her!
A wonderful business run by wonderful people.
We are very grateful we chose Cycles Sud-Ouest.

Had a flat tyre on our own bike. Asked Thomas if he could help in any way. He was so nice and fixed our tyre quickly and efficiently. He couldn't have been more helpful and he has pretty good English. First class service.

Super expérience avec Cycles Sud Ouest, grâce à qui nous avons pu louer des vélos pour notre périple le long du canal latéral à la Garonne.
Leurs vélos sont très confortables, fiables, révisés et bien équipés. Ils sont adaptés à tous, enfants comme adultes.
Le service client est au top, Clare, la gérante, s’est montrée très amicale et très arrangeante. Elle est également de très bons conseils sur le parcours.
Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette entreprise pour vos locations de vélos, quelle que soit l’occasion ! ☺️

I would highly recommend Cycles Sud-Ouest. The service provided by Clare and her team was brilliant, very informative and welcoming. The bikes provided were of a very high standard and with an excellent range (We hired the electric bikes). Additional equipment was provided such as phone holder etc. They are in an excellent location for riding along the canal or quiet country lanes. Overall, a brilliant experience, thank you.

J'y suis allée pour des câbles de vitesse. Il me les a changé et régler les dérailleurs sur un velo particulier un trike, qu'il n'avait jamais réparer. Il n'a jamais aussi bien marché!Il m'a tout expliqué et m'a montrer aussi au cas où je serais de nouveau en difficulté. Très pro, très gentil. Une rencontré agréable avec des passionnés. Le prix je n'en reviens pas pas cher du tout. Allez y les yeux fermés. Merci.

Cycles Sud-Ouest provided the cornerstone of a unique two-week vacation. I planned the itinerary based on my family's interests and abilities, and they helped to set us up beautifully. Communication was impeccable. The pricing was very reasonable, considering that there are other bike rental outfits charging way more. Oh, and the Canal de Garonne is so worth it. A national treasure. For kids with an electronic worldview, this is great introduction to a bigger geographic experience. Traveling on a bicycle provides direct experience of the scale of the world.

I am so happy to have found Cycles Sud-Ouest while planning my ride along the Canal de Garonne. They worked with me through email prior to my trip and then provided an excellent bike (and even better customer service) for the ride. They delivered the bike with panniers to my hotel in Bordeaux and picked up my luggage to deliver it to Toulouse. Everything went as planned. It is a great ride. The Roger LaPébie trail out of Bordeaux is a marvel and the trail along the Garonne is absolutely beautiful.

If you need to rent a bike for the Canal de Garonne from Bordeaux to Toulouse - this is the company to go with! Claire’s customer service, as well as the quality of the bikes were EXCELLENT!!!!!! She was also extremely accommodating when we had a last minute emergency and had to change our plans.

Good bikes, great location and above all, kind and wonderful service.

I booked ten bikes here for a group I was hosted in April. Unfortunately, the weather did not comply so I got in touch at the very last minute and Clare allowed me to move my booking to September. This group spent a lovely day riding along the canal but unfortunately, one member injured themselves and was not able to keep going. Despite many important and prior commitments on the part of everyone at Cycles Sud-Ouest, they went out of their way to help our injured person.

C'était une très bonne expérience avec "Cycles Sud-Ouest"! J'ai loué un vélo électrique pour faire de Bordeaux à Sète, et tout était parfait! Le vélo était très bon! Avant mon périple on a répondu toutes mes questions tout de suite! Ps. Comme une norvégienne c'était aussi très agréable de communiquer en anglais (quand le français était trop difficile pour moi!)
