Not a 4* Hotel. The rooms are spacious but that is because there is nothing in them. No wardrobe, just a hanging rail with about 8 coat hangers with a shelf over the top and one draw at floor level that had the safe in. If you wanted to go in the safe you had to empty the draw to get in. There is absolutely no where to put cloths. Had to leave shoes on the floor. The worst storage I have ever had to experience. We ended up storing everything in our case. Milk is provided but only enough to make one cup and the cups where paper cups. Two bottles of free water per day. The TV in the room was useless as there was not one English channel. Don't think this hotel caters for the British. The room was cleaned daily and the bed was very comfortable. Not much provided in the bathroom but there was one dispenser but wasn't clear if it was shampoo or body wash. Bowl of the toilet was a little stained but on the whole the bathroom was adequate. View from our first floor room was poor. Think we may have had the worst room ever. We looked out onto the first floor terrace through various trees and plants and below our window was a trough were water gathered due to the watering of the vegetation. In this water there where various things swimming about so we had to keep our windows shut. We could have complained but we aimed to spend as little time as possible in the room. On the first floor terrace there was a bar but it wasn't in use. There was also a roof terrace but that was also not in use but I think it was for private and for hire for functions as the lift to it said on the door private.|The prices in the hotel was very steep as it was 6 euros for half pint, well that's if you could get served as they would sooner chat to each other and totally ignore you even when they see you standing waiting to be served. You have to shout if you want to get served. Breakfast was also on the expensive side, 18 euros for a continental breakfast which consisted of various breads and cold meet. There was a bowl of cocktail sausages and miniature hash browns. If you wanted a boiled egg then you had to boil it yourself. No such thing as bacon eggs and beans. There was a coffee machine that was free throughout the day but that was not very good. In conclusion, the hotel was clean and was ok for the odd night. They do nor cater for the English and food and drink was way overpriced. It is only a mediocre 3* and if I ever travel to Perpignan I would look elsewhere.
