1. This place really deserves a higher rating.
2. The service was impeccable and they were very kind to everyone.
3. The food was very intelligently designed and the meals had a great flow.
- For example, the foie gras was strategically paired with an elegant ginger bread, which takes away a lot of the muskier “duck” notes and leaves behind just the decadent buttery flavors.
- The lamb was very marinated, slow cooked and served with delicate filo flakes that had sprinkles of cumin and other spices that also did the same. Sprinkled with fresh micro cilantro as well which balances the scent.
- The “gourmand” dessert is the 4X of all the best desserts mixed together plus a glass of their home-made rum.

Everything was cooked to perfection. Lots of flavor, not just presentation.

Freundlichkeit scheint in Saint- Émilion rar zu sein - auf die Frage, ob wir einen Kaffee bestellen könnten, bekamen wir leider mit einem sehr arroganten Ton die Antwort, dass dies nicht ein Café sei, sondern ein Restaurant. Nachvollziehbar, aber der Ton macht die Musik. Wir hatten eigentlich den Tipp bekommen, dort Mittag essen zu gehen, sind aber im Nachhinein froh, unser Geld woanders ausgegeben zu haben.

Good quality food in a pleasant sized room. Staff very attentive and polite. Good grades asp of English if needed. Had the set meal and was very pleased. Pork and Tagliatelle was fantastic. Well cooked food. Wine was good, as expected.

Ресторан на торжественный ужин надо искать заранее, сегодня днем нас в нескольких местах отразили, все забукано. GPT чат пришёл на помощь и нашёл место с кондиционером, и где ещё можно было заказать столик.
Понравилось примерно все.
Устрицы намного лучше вчерашних, не местные, с острова.
Предложение дня, я часто выбираю его, оказалось стерлядью, последний раз я ела её в 2017 в Нови-Саде, в крепости.
Причём стерлядь не фарм, а дикая, что прям совсем редкость.
На десерт моих сил уже не хватило, но я попробовала Борькин шоколад, офигительный, и я , кажется, знаю, как это сделано. Дома попробую воспроизвести.
Заходите сюда, короче. Не пожалеете????

The service is impeccable – attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Our meal was a highlight, starting with the perfectly seared Foie Gras, rich and meltingly tender, a true taste of luxury. The Pan-Seared Duck Breast was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a crispy skin and succulent, pink interior, complemented by a delicious sauce.
Their wine list, as expected in this region, is extensive and well-curated, offering fantastic local selections. The staff were excellent at recommending pairings that elevated our meal.

One of the best surprise during our Bordeaux trip. All the dishes are nearly perfect , the chef successfully brings out the natural flavour of the food without using extra spices and seasoning, we ordered the daily special sea bass risotto and immediately regret didn’t also order the other pork ribs dish after we’ve found out how good is the food. In addition, the red wine they recommend become one of our favourite wine Chateau Haut-Simard 2016, Saint-Emilion , unfortunately no able to find a bottle after trying a few wine shops there.

Chai pascal est un endroit idéal et incontournable pendant son séjour à Saint-Emilion. Nous y sommes allés à plusieurs reprises avec notre golden et ils ont été adorables. La carte est délicieuse et les propriétaires sauront vous conseiller sur la carte des vins. Je recommande vivement.
