Très grosse déception... prix des vins hallucinants par rapport à la qualité, choix de plat décevant, le poulet était sec, les jus et sauces trop liquides, le prix n'est justifié que par le nom Ducasse...

Siamo stati in 4 a fare colazione, pagando 50 euro a testa (circa 32 euro per la colazione + ingresso al palazzo).
Abbiamo ordinato uova strapazzate (eccessivamente cotte, e probabilmente riscaldate al momento perché avevano rilasciato molta acqua nel fondo) con salsiccia (impresentabile). Ci hanno portato il pane con il burro che era però estremamente freddo e quindi non spalmabile (fattibile solo a fine colazione). Un succo su 4 è stato servito a fine colazione.
Servizio veloce e frettoloso, il cameriere servendo la cioccolata calda ha sporcato tutta la tazza, senza scusarsi, anche la tazza dell’uovo era sporca.
A fine colazione ho fatto notare questi
dettagli non graditi, ma non è servito a nulla, neanche per una scusa.
Se andate a Versailles evitate questa esperienza, non ne vale la pena.

Le due stelle sono per la location e la vinoisserie perché per il resto non ci siamo. Abbiamo fatto colazione in 4 e le uova erano tutte scotte (le uova strapazzate devono restare cremose, non una frittata con acqua alla base), inoltre il mio piatto è arrivato tutto sporco di uovo sul lato, cosa che non mi aspetto da un locale del genere. Per continuare, al mio compagno quando è stata servita la cioccolata, il cameriere nel versarla l’ha fatta cadere un po’ fuori dalla tazza e accortosene se ne è andato via con un “ops”. Dopo l’ordinazione sono arrivati tre succhi su quattro, l’ultimo è arrivato a colazione quasi finita… imbarazzante. Per concludere, cosa per me ingiustificabile, soprattutto perché in Francia e in un locale di questo livello, il burro è arrivato freddo di frigo, impossibile da spalmare, per 32€/persona di colazione mi aspetto attenzione su questi dettagli.

J’ai passé un très bon moment au restaurant Ore, dans le cadre exceptionnel du Château de Versailles. La cuisine est raffinée, le service à table soigné, et l’ambiance élégante sans être trop guindée. Dans l’ensemble, je suis très satisfait de mon expérience. Seul petit bémol : l’accueil à l’entrée pourrait être un peu mieux organisé et plus fluide, surtout en période d’affluence. Cela n’a toutefois pas entaché la qualité du repas. Je recommande !

Nous avons organisé notre mariage à l'Ore avec 100 personnes. Tout a été formidable, depuis la qualité des plats servis (merci encore à la super chef et au super pâtissier) jusqu'à l'ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante, en passant par un service très professionnel aux petits soins. Mille mercis et un immense bravo !

The service was awful in the cafe on the main floor. I was there in the afternoon of May 28th, 2025. Running out of food is one thing however being served by someone who is unpleasant, seems annoyed that you’re placing an order and has troubles confirming what is being ordered leaves a bad taste in one’s mouth. I was expecting more of a cafe at Versailles

Ça fait déjà presque un an que je viens régulièrement dans ce restaurant pour un petit déjeuner et pas une fois je n'ai été déçue.
Le service est toujours chaleureux et accueillant, et les plats sont délicieux et arrivent rapidement (- de 5 min)
Les serveurs ont toujours un mot gentil pour redonner le sourire quand ça va pas (et l'agrandir quand ça va) et j'ai toujours quitté le restaurant le sourire aux lèvres. Je ne pourrais pas recommander meilleur endroit où manger dans le domaine.

Service épouvantable et long. Dommage les plats sont très bons. Le vin rouge qui nous a été servi au verre avait plein de dépôt. Après avoir demandé à le changer, le deuxième verre était également plein de dépôt. Pas digne du nom Ducasse… en 2h, nos voisins sont partis car ils n’étaient pas servis. Nos voisins de derrière ont dû se lever pour aller demander des couverts et de l’eau…

Well we were in the Versailles Palace as I have made my booking with Ore as Angelina had a long queue.

I was kind of scared with all the reviews complaining how they have been overcharged and the food was blend — that was all wrong, the food was delicious and we have a great service tbh.

We got the lunch special with a starter and main and ordered another plate to share. W e picked the “Beans and Mint Velute” for starters and agreed to pay +10Euros for the “Lamb Breast with Jus” — both were delicious but the main dish was phenomenal. We also ordered a Burratina to share, it was good but nothing spectacular.

All in all we probably had one of the best lamb dishes in a long time and the velute starte was refreshing on a hot day.

We were promptly seated to our table even thought we arrived 30 minutes prior to our booking and the service was pretty solid - contrary to what other people have said.

Our experience at Ore was a really good one. I wouldn’t go back all the way to Versailles to eat here but I wouldn’t definitely come back if I am visiting the palace.

Wir hatten nach einem anstrengenden Schlossbesuch einen sehr angenehmen und einen kulinarisch ansprechenden Aufenthalt. Köstliches 3-Gang-Menue. Mehrere Gerichte zur Auswahl. Vorspeise: Terrine de Campagne, Hauptgericht Volatile, mein Mann Asperges, Erdbeernachtisch. Sehr zu empfehlen.

On m’explique le service s’il vous plaît ? C’est quoi ces serveurs pas coiffés et pas rasés qui ne connaissent rien à la carte. C’est la France, c’est Versailles quelle honte !

We booked our reservation at 9 in the morning, the atmosphere overall was ok, but the service was really slow, no one came to ask us to take our drinks and food order until 20 mins later after we’ve been seated. Food quality was poor, the scramble eggs I got with sausage was one of the worst I’ve had in my life, (fyi, food came 50 mins after) …

With the wait time like this, might as well wait in the long queue with everyone else than to use this to skip the queue into the palace.

Offers you skip the line entrance to Versailles palace along with breakfast at a premium rate. The breakfast was ridiculous though, as the vegan option they gave raw lettuce/cabbage and cucumbers. Do we look like rabbits ?

The rest of the breakfast items were as minimal as possible: bread, eggs , coffee.

The ambience and service was great. As a restaurant, it has not justified the price. As a convenience for palace access, it has .

accueil très mitigé. un mel précise d'arriver par l'ascenseur qui amène à côté des cuisines. c'est pas pratique mal reçu.
ensuite il y a 2 salles: une très éclairée avec vue sur le château et une arrière salle froid et sans ambiance.
le serveur était très aimable mais c'était bien long..
la cuisine est délicieuse mais les desserts étaient vraiment peu copieux et le Louis XIV est assez décevant.
la balance du rapport qualité-prix tombe du mauvais côté... la bouteille d'eau à 9€ illustre bien

The food was overpriced and of subpar quality (lamb was oke but the chicken real bad). The place and ambience were also below average, especially for a restaurant located inside Versailles.

To make matters worse, we had to wait over an hour for our main courses to be served, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded and we had made a timed online reservation in advance. The waitstaff were unresponsive; I had to walk to the waiter station three times in the last 15 minutes to ask about my dish. Each time, the waiters kindly apologized and said they would check, but they never returned with an update on how long we would need to wait.

I made three trips to the station: first, to inquire about the delay; second, to get a response; and third, to cancel our order because I wanted to explore other parts of the castle, and we wouldn't have enough time now. It was during this last trip that they rushed back to inform me it would be just five more minutes.
An hour long and the foods weren't even great. 0 stars.

A very disappointing experience — we are surprised that Alain Ducasse would associate his name with these standards. Service was slow and inattentive — took 40 minutes to be served the wine we ordered after prompting the waiter and he gave us the wrong starters (same with one of our neighbours) probably because he wrote nothing down. We hoped the food would make up for it, but the onion soup was watery and flavourless, and the asparagus was bitter, very underwhelming as a main course. Would not recommend — go to one of the many great Bistros in the city for some decent food and service!

Eating inside the Palace of Versailles is an amazing experience, and you definitely pay for the incredible location. However, the food quality doesn't quite justify the price. What was truly disappointing was the extremely slow and almost rude service. Plates were practically thrown down. Go for the unique setting, but don't expect top-notch food or service.

Très bon repas. Accueil et service au top. En revanche, carte un peu épurée, peu de plats proposés par rapport aux visites précédentes. Sans possibilité de commander à la carte, uniquement des formules entrée+plat, plat+dessert ou entrée+plat+dessert.
Soufflé incroyable mais uniquement au parfum amande, par rapport aux années précédentes quand il y avait chocolat, pistache etc.
