Le bar du Four Seasons George V joue la carte du mobilier classique de style Louis XVI, la cheminée et les livres de la bibliothèque créant une atmosphère chaleureuse. Le chef barman Johann Burgos propose par exemple le "George Fizz", fraises et framboises fraîches mélangées avec un jus de goyave et jus d’orange, trait de grenadine, le tout shaké au champagne. Les amateurs de martini pourront choisir parmi les nombreux cocktails déclinés sur le thème des couleurs : “Purple martini” à base de crème de violette et de crème de cassis ou encore “Red Martini” qui mélange liqueur de pastèque et crème de pêche. Au cœur de l’hôtel, La Galerie – mobilier et tapisseries flamandes – offre une alternative sympathique pour déjeuner au rythme d’une restauration à la fois légère et sophistiquée, pensée par Philippe Legendre. A l'heure du thé, un pianiste accompagne les convives en salle, des cocktails sont servis jusqu’au soir dans la cour extérieure.

It began when Shirley from Reception actually greeted us on the street as we arrived. She greeted us warmly by name and walked us to our room explaining just enough information along the way. Our room was ready at 0930 AM when we arrived. Moreover, the hotel absolutely honored our request for type and location of our suite. After our long flight, it was a welcome treat to find that our accommodations were ready.
From the moment that we arrived throughout our week’s stay, every associate that we touched addressed us by name and were so kind and professional. Whether it was Karina and Toni and the entire Concierge Team, or the Somms in Restaurant Le Cinq, the housekeeping personnel, room service, bar personnel, or restaurant associates, all were amazing.
A word about the Concierge Team. I utilized their services extensively prior to and during our stay. This is an amazing group of professionals. The continuity between them is seamless. If you talk with one of them, it is like you have talked to all of them. Their recommendations were spot-on…perfect!
A short note about Le Cinq Restaurant (Michelin 3 Star) on property. Our experience was 5 hours long. Will serve as one of our best all-time memories. The cuisine, wine, service, and venue are just incredible. We have experienced Michelin restaurants previously. They all pale in comparison. Spoil yourself and do this.
Our suite was perfect. Wonderfully appointed and spacious. Cleanest accommodation that we have ever experienced. Housekeeping touched our room 3 times per day. The Housekeeping Manager came by to ensure that we were satisfied. I could go on…
So I end where I began. My review is woefully inadequate and I apologize to the George V Team of professionals. Do yourself a favor, stay here. My wife and I have been in Paris many times but this hotel alone is excuse enough to plan another visit. We definitely will.
