Sophie Charlet, la propriétaire, a fait appel à deux architectes pour personnaliser son hôtel et l'habiller de façon chic, élégante et contemporaine afin de partager avec les clients l'art de vivre à la française. Le style moderne joue sur le raffinement des matières. C'est un luxe discret, sans ostentation, avec le sens du détail. Chaque pièce de mobilier est unique. Les chambres sont imaginées un peu comme dans un rêve. Le bio est présent dans les produits de toilette et ceux du petit déjeuner, servi dans une salle voûtée revisitée de manière contemporaine.

Great place to stay in Paris! Extremely close to the Paris Opera, the Church of the Madelene (beautiful), several metro stops, and striking distance to the Place de la Concorde/Champs Elysee/Seine embankments. Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel based on its 4-star classification and an impressive 8.8 rating on Booking.com. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was advertised — the property did not even meet a 2-star standard in several aspects.||Key issues included:| • The room door was very old and did not feel secure.| • Room access relied on a flimsy plastic button, adding to the sense of insecurity.| • Furniture throughout the room was outdated, worn, and in poor condition.| • The elevator was in a visibly bad state and felt unsafe to use.| • Breakfast was served in a cramped basement room resembling a staff cafeteria — definitely not suitable for guests.| • There was no clear signage for the hotel, making it difficult to locate.| • The Wi-Fi was nearly non-functional; we were eventually given access to a staff-only network.| • There was no in-room information available, not even how to contact the reception.| • Most disturbingly, housekeeping entered our room without knocking, which was a serious breach of privacy.||Given the actual condition and service level of the hotel, a realistic rating would be no higher than 6 or 7. It is highly concerning that such a property is rated 8.8 and listed as 4-star — this is misleading and disappointing for guests who rely on Booking.com’s ratings and classifications.||I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision.
