Great hotel and location. Hotel is old but rooms are clean and service is fantastic.
The front desk folks are very helpful and they made our stay very pleasant. Kudos to Emmanuel, Gina ( Jinane) and Mirko.
Location is very close to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. We walk everywhere. My son and I feel safe staying here.

The location is the only thing going for this hotel. A lot to be desired for everything else. False advertising that there is air conditioning. It is true that there is one in the room, but they do not work. It's pretty evident since they have many room fans they will loan you. This would be an uncomfortable place to stay in the summer. Luckily, we were able to open the window, but the road noise didn't help us sleep. You can tell at one time this was a decent hotel, but a long time ago.

We have stayed in the areas of St. Sulpice and St. Germaine for 40+ years mostly at the two different nearby Hotel Odeons. So I will compare the Relais to them.
First is the location in a narrow dark alley behind the St. Sulpice church. No sun. Walk one block to experience the neighborhood ambience.
The lobby was far inferior to that of the other hotels.
The breakfast was surprisingly good. Kitchen staff cooked excellent scrambled eggs and bacon.
The front desk was hit or miss. Soel was by the far the best representative of all three hotels. He was very friendly in a genuine way. We had one very bad experience at the hotel and he was quite sympathetic. The evening woman could care less. I stood forever at front desk as she chatted away ignoring me.
When we arrived at the hotel we were informed the hot water would be closed down for 4-6 hours during the day. We found out by reading a notice taped to the elevator wall. Then the disaster! No hot water the next day! Cold showers no fun. Management did nothing. No apology. Business as usual. We pleaded with Soel to ask manager for at least a free breakfast. We had to ask. The manager/owner could have thought ahead to appease the hotel guests. After all there are only around 24+ (?) rooms.
The room on the other hand was nice. Room 20 had a beautiful garden view from second floor (top one). Left window wide open looking at colorful green courtyard below. We left window open day and night. However other rooms near us on the alley side looked awful. Avoid rooms next to elevator.
I will not return. The two Odeon Hotels nearby are overall much better. I gave the Relais a chance but management is undeserving.

I stayed at this hotel in one of the more expensive rooms which was room 6 on January of 2025. It was a unique room with unique styling and a long corridor leading up to the bed room, bathroom, and toilet. Kind of expensive for what you are getting but it almost had a small apartment type of feel.

The bed in this room is actually 2 smaller beds put together so you can separate them if needed. It is in front of the small green space they have in the middle of the property which is nice. They have breakfast in the basement and it's not free and it is cook to order. The servers don't speak English so it's best you just point to the item you want on the little sign they have there if you don't speak French.

This place is right behind a very nice looking Catholic church which is awesome. This is also 20 mins walking from Notre Dame church and 15 mins walking from louvre museum. So that's awesome as well.

Unfortunately the walk to the Eiffel tower is 50 min walk from here and T-Mobile sucks in this area so make sure you have offline Google maps downloaded.

Not the best hotel but it was still an awesome experience.

Great location. Very easy to walk to the Louvre and other sites. Our room was on the second floor and had very convenient stairs. We overlooked the courtyard. It was very comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff. We would stay here again. Elevator for heavy bags.

As expected, small rooms and nice amenities for St. Germaine area. Their website dramatized the courtyard and please see my photos||Housekeeping is on french time, polite but just okay. Purchase your own water, not provided after first night. Concierge is helpful but as a female, I was speaking with him and he interrupted our conversation for a businessman.

Nice location! Let’s start there. Our room had mold in the tub. Dirty curtains. The hallway smelled of mold and the wallpaper was filthy at the bottom in the hallway. Pillows were lumpy. Desk personnel questioned the need for two keys! Asked for toilet paper and was questioned then when we returned from dinner it was still not placed in the room. If you want to be a 4 star then act like a 4 star. Make some simple upgrades. Even the bathroom table was almost useless as there was no glass in the middle of the top of the table. Freshen the hallways with nice scents to try to mask the mold smell! Do something! I have been to Paris 8 times going back to 1985. I have stayed in bare bones hotels to air bnb to luxury hotels and this 4 star was so very disappointing as it was not even close.

Hotel Relais Saint Sulpice was recommended to me by friends who frequently travel to Paris. I have stayed in a few places in the St. Germain area but this was by far the best location and so very quiet! I had a courtyard facing room (#5). It was a bit small and the bathroom was dated but everything was very clean. There is breakfast offered for a fee that was fine if you don't feel like going out to one of the many cafes that are close by. I will stay here again!

Have been staying here the last few trips to Paris and love it. The location is fantastic - close to shops and walking distance to metros. The rooms itself are a bit dated and small with barely any air conditioning but it’s charming and staff are friendly.

I stayed at this hotel in July 2024, with my Wife and early teenage son.

Location: Safe and walkable to many restaurants, attractions, cafes and shopping. Very convenient location, also closer to Metro stations.

Service: The front desk staff is very friendly, they are fluent in English. They were very helpful with suggestions on hotels, guidance on public transportation and advice on tourist spots. The Air Conditioner in our room was broken and they couldn't fix it for three full days of our stay, they did provide fans. Luckily, the weather was not too hot, so it was OK. The hotel manager offered free breakfast given the AC situation, have to say the breakfast is one of the worst I ever had. Crossaints were hard, breads and other items very sad. Inspite of the free breakfast, we opted to go out and eat.

Rooms: Do not be deceived by the photos, the rooms are very tiny, no space to walk, let alone store your luggage.

Overall, I would not recommend this place. For this price I am sure there are many good options.

This hotel is certainly not a four star hotel as is claimed. My room had peeling paint, broken AC, and a broken bathtub plug. When asked to have the AC and rub fixed, we were given a snarky answer and no promises; when we checked out five days later, both were still broken. Yes, we just opened our windows to cool off the room but, as the hotel backs up on to the back of St Sulpice, there was lots of noise late into the night from various groups drinking behind the church. Additionally, the breakfast is not worth 19 Euros each, very standard hotel breakfast fare and, again, unfriendly staff.
