FONTAINES DU LUXEMBOURG ^{* * *}

Excellent support from concierges, especially Mourand and Eric. Great neighborhood close to a number of great restos and venues (e.g. Louvre, Notre Dame, Pantheon, Luxembourg gardens). Comfortable and firm beds. Clean and tidy. Stellar shower. Windows that open. Would stay here again.

Een hotel op een centrale plek in Parijs. Achter de gevel een verassend smaakvol hotel. De kamers zijn niet groot, maar wel heel schoon en netjes. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De bedden slapen goed en het is er rustig. Ondanks dat je in het centrum van Parijs bent.|Het ontbijt is in de kelder van het hotel. Het personeel wil niets liever dan het je naar de zin

We had a lovely few days stay in Fontaines du Luxembourg-the only negative was that we didn’t stay long enough!|Having stayed in Paris 4 times over the last 8 months, this was by far our favourite hotel. On this occasion, due to us suiting Paris to celebrate a family birthday, we had booked 5 rooms for our party of 10, and each room was lovely-immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, especially the picture murals behind each bed. Although some rooms are small as common in this part of Paris, they were certainly bigger than other local hotels we have used. The location is fantastic, in a nice and fairly quiet street in the heart of St Germain (6th arrondissement) Walking it’s a 1 minute walk from the Luxembourg Gardens, 5 minutes from metro/RER B giving easy access to all main attractions, 5 minutes to the Latin Quarter, 10/15 minutes to Notre Dame and the Seine, with loads of fabulous local bistros and boulangeries nearby. |However, what stands out most about this hotel is the friendliness and helpfulness of every member of staff. Mourad and his team go over and above to make you feel incredibly welcome, and do lots of small things to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Habib helped us to organise what we needed for a small birthday gathering for my daughter, and even had a sign wishing her happy birthday on her door when she got up that morning. Housekeeping did a fabulous job, and caught us going in/out to check we had everything we needed. Indeed, there were notes left for us telling us there were little Easter eggs hidden in the rooms when we arrived. These little extra touches, along with things like small sweets and coffee in the lounge area of reception all add to the very welcome feel of the hotel. |On our next visit to Paris, we will not even look at another hotel-we will definitely return to Fontaines du Luxembourg!

Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal. Monsieur Eric an der Rezeption ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er steht bei allen Fragen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Es war ein richtig schöner Aufenthalt.

I love this hotel. This was my second time staying and I recommend it to my friends traveling to Paris. The rooms are a good size, tastefully decorated - love the big photos above the bed. On my first stay, my room even had a deep bathtub. The breakfast room is lovely, the breakfast staff very helpful, and breakfast itself was tasty - great coffee. Teeny tiny one person elevator (which I loved!). Tall windows that opened to a quiet street with a market across the way. On both my stays, the front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Nice lobby to sit in, you can get a drink or coffee.
