This little boutique hotel was perfect for us. The lobby is warm and welcoming with someone to help 24 hrs a day. Breakfast was simple but convenient when we were in a rush. We ate out most mornings. Our room was small but had a double wardrobe to hang clothes so we unpacked and kept our suitcases in the corner. We had a large window that I loved keeping open to bring in the sounds of Paris. We had a nice deep tub to soak in after a long day. The neighborhood was more residential and perfect for us to escape the crowds of the tourist spots. Everything you could need from pharmacy, grocery, bakery, restaurants and a metro 1 block over. The queen sized bed was larger than we expected. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a boutique style and not looking for big and fancy. It's quaint, warm and friendly.

This small hotel,is set in a quiet street, close to bars and restaurants, with easy access to the Metro or buses to get to the main sights. It is very comfortable and all the staff are helpful,friendly and speak,good English. Ideal for a short break.

We loved Paris!the hotel’s staff is amazing. Friendly and helpful always welcoming a real plus! The hotel is in a good area close to good transportation bus and metro. The Luxembourg gardens are so close and we enjoyed walking around them each day. It’s a quiet area of Paris safe with good restaurants near by.

Hotel Sainte Beuve does an exceptional job of making one not only fell welcome, but special. It was the perfect place for me, surrounded by everything I could need or want.

The front desk staff was the highlight of this hotel. I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Great at English which was highly needed for us.

I felt as though I had my own Parisian apartment for a week. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, to breakfast hosts were kind and helpful. The neighborhood is nestled between the Luxembourg Gardens and Prime shopping and easy access to metro and my work at Center for Universities in a Paris Abroad… I would return in a heartbeat!

Close to everything but protected from the crowd of tourists, this small and charming hotel is located between the Jardin du Luxembourg, a beautiful park, and Montparnasse.

We booked 3 nights at the Sainte Beuve after staying there over 15 years ago. We are recently retired and finding ourselves with more time it seemed fitting that we should go back to the hotel were we had so many great memories. Fortunately we managed to get the same balcony room (room 22) and it was just perfect. If you want friendly service, a great location and cosy rooms this is the place to go.

We stayed in the superior room, and it felt small. The employees were very nice. I didn't feel like it was a 4-star hotel. A tourist trap, not close to any places in Paris, without having to Metro or taxi, not within walking distance.

A cozy little hotel perfectly located in an area surronded by local shops, theatres, cafes and restaurants.||We did enjoy the fact that it is a non-turistic Parisian neighbourhood so close to the main turistic attractions (metro) which letting you feel the Parisian daily life and habits ||The metro is just at the hotel corner.||Room was small (for 2 bags) like most hotels in Paris but beautifully decorated.||||Only down side for a 4-stars hotel, the breakfast lack of variety, where and the way it is served.||Would have prefered to have breakfast on a dedicated area, with a self-service option where I can serve myself and with more variety (eggs, sausage, cereals variety).||||Will definitely look forward to come back and do recommend.

Toujours un très bon séjour dans cet établissement. j'y vais régulièrement (1 fois / mois) et l'équipe est toujours très agréable, arrangeante. Le service du petit déjeuner est très bien.

Fantastisch hotel! We kwamen om 10 uur in de ochtend bij het hotel aan om onze koffers daar achter te laten maar ze lieten ons weten dat de kamer al klaar was! Hoe fijn was dat! Prachtige kamer met balkon en een bad. Super sfeervolle kamer, heel fijn bed en met genoeg opbergruimte voor kleding. De tv was wel wat gedateerd en aan de kleine kant. De service was top. Metro op 5 min loopafstand, supermarkt om de hoek en heel veel leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Zeker een aanrader!

Hôtel de charme à l'esthétique française d'antan. Ma chambre était du côté de la rue mais était parfaitement calme et l'emplacement est fabuleux - à quelques pas de Saint Germain et avec le métro et les bus à 2 minutes de l'hôtel. Il y a de nombreux magasins tout autour et le jardin du Luxembourg est à cinq minutes à pied. Les chambres seront certainement bientôt rénovées et un éclairage plus puissant sera installé, mais pour l'instant, on peut se laisser aller à l'atmosphère française du 20e siècle.||

AVOID !!!! Restez à l'écart de ce dépotoir à tout prix ! Les lits sont HORRIBLES et le personnel est EXTRÊMEMENT impoli ! Il y a un minuscule ascenseur qui fonctionne à peine et qui est toujours utilisé. C'est un peu comme si vous séjourniez dans un walk up. À ÉVITER À ÉVITER À ÉVITER.

C'est peut-être mon hôtel préféré à Paris.
L'hôtel est très bien situé, juste à côté du Jardin du Luxembourg et à distance de marche de la plupart des endroits agréables des sixième et cinquième arrondissements. Le hall d'entrée est très agréable et joli. La chambre est spacieuse pour les standards parisiens, avec un grand balcon donnant sur une rue calme. Les toilettes sont séparées du lavabo et de la douche, ce qui est très pratique pour deux personnes partageant la même chambre. Il y a un beau bureau pour travailler et une commode. Le lit et l'oreiller sont très confortables. J'ai hâte d'y retourner.

Rooms are well appointed. The downstairs is a living room worth hanging out in with a good book. Coffee and tea always available throughout the day.
And the art work is eclectic and awesome.
