Avis HÔTEL LA TAMISE Paris

We stayed here for a total of four nights and five days. It is absolutely spectacular. The hotel staff are kind, friendly, and welcoming. The staff is second to none. The rooms were very beautiful and their accommodations suited our family of four flawlessly with a suite that had two separate bedrooms with each having their own bathroom. The hotel breakfast was wonderful as well. This is our new home in Paris for our visits.

My fiance and I stayed at Hotel La Tamise for 4 nights in December and had a fantastic experience!

From a location standpoint, it can’t be beat - we were close (walking distance for us) to most major “touristy” destinations like the Louvre, Champs Elysees, right off of Rue Saint Honore, etc. and within close walking distance to shops, coffee and breakfast, and bars and restaurants. Of course it’s a bit touristy because it’s so close to major tourist destinations, but the central location was perfect.

The room was beautiful, we booked a Superior room and we had a great window on the street, a large bed, and a bathroom with a tub, large shower (with heated towel rack,) and toilet separate. I see complaints in other reviews about room size, but in my experience with European hotels, this was large and accommodating. The hotel also has a bar area for breakfast, but where you can enjoy a drink or two, which we did before calling it a night several evenings. It helped that we enjoyed conversation with the bartenders!

The staff set our experience apart. They were so helpful, warm during all interactions, and extremely friendly and supportive when we had some stress surrounding some cancelled flights. While we fortunately didn’t need to push our flight another day, they were working with us to potentially book another night if necessary; they also shipped my AirPods that I left in the room back, which I feel not all hotels - specifically internationally - would do. It felt like a boutique experience without being in a massive hotel or with the inflated price tag. This trip was celebrating our recent engagement and it was a nice touch that we had some treats and a bottle of chilled champagne waiting for us upon our arrival!

We had an incredible time, and we will definitely be back to this hotel the next time we are in Paris!

We've stayed here several times. Always wanted to leave a review, and today is it. We are going to be there again next week.

Absolutely the perfect location, quaint and charming hotel, but even more important is the staff, who are all so attentive and went to great lengths to make our stay enjoyable... and even went above and beyond with our special requests, etc. Totally a family-like establishment.

· The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially Salle the breakfast attendant - he was truly marvelous! The location was fantastic, a 2 minute walk to the Metro and you can walk to the Louvre from the hotel. It is also within walking distance from many cafes, restaurants and shops. The rooms were small, but had plenty of storage space, and the bedding was lovely - very comfortable, and the toiletries were of a very high quality. The complementary champagne and snacks were very welcome on arrival. I cannot recommend the Tamise more highly!!

We enjoyed staying at the hotel four nights during Christmas. Very good location, easy access to museums, shopping areas, Metros. Also, the staffs are super friendly!

We have never had such kind friendly service. Outstanding hospitality. For that alone 5 stars. Had connecting rooms as we were travelling with a teenager. Perfect set up. Great location to shoot off anywhere. Lots of restaurants close by and handy to Tuilleries Christmas markets. Just brilliant ????
