Construction across the street ruined the entire experience. I think the the owners of the hotel have to be very upfront and disclose the construction immediately on the website and offer corresponding discounts. Unfortunately none of that happened and we were forced to ask the management directly.

Having said that, the management and the staff are extremely friendly, accommodating and very courteous. They were all a real pleasure to deal with.

Also, just a heads up the rooms are extremely tiny. Even upgraded rooms are the size of an average walk in closet in the US. As in, You can't open the window fully without hitting the bed. And with two suitcases flat on the floor, the most you can do is pivot about your axis.

In general, despite the very professional staff and a good location, the stay left me very disappointed. Especially at that price point.

Wonderful location across the street from Jardin des Tuileries- walking distance to Musée du Louvre and Musee d’Orsay. Very friendly staff and enjoyable breakfast. Highly recommend!

Quaint hotel with excellent service in a great location in the first arrondissement! We enjoyed a week-long stay here. The hotel is clean, safe, well-maintained, and walking distance to major attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they provide excellent concierge services to help with restaurant reservations even before you check in.

La Tamise is an excellent hotel.|Very well located, the hotel is clean and quiet.|Antonio on the front desk was a model of charm and helpfulness. He made dinner recommendations and reservations for us, helped with directions and welcomed us into the hotel.|The rooms are not generously-sized, but are standard for Paris and are well-decorated and well appointed.|The hotel is quiet and in an excellent location for the Louvre and the Tuileries, Notre Dame and the Place de la Concorde, etc.|Overall La Tamise is a delightful hotel.

I had an excellent experience at Hotel La Tamise. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the Louvre and Tuileries Garden, making it easy to explore some of Paris’s most iconic sights. Not to mention that it's right next to one of the best shopping street in Paris.||The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or simply a warm smile. They truly made the stay feel personal and comfortable.||The room was cozy, quiet, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Everything from the bed to the bathroom felt thoughtfully maintained, adding to the overall comfort.||Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming, well-located boutique hotel with top-notch service.

The staff are most welcoming and nice, they treated us like we were vip. We felt at home in the hotel, the rooms are warm, clean and comfortable, my daughter was celebrating her 13 birthday and they sent her the most amazing gift box to our room!! Amazing hotel, beyond our expectations!! I highly recommend it!!!

This was our second time staying at this lovely hotel, we love it that much! The staff are all wonderful, so kind and accommodating going above and beyond. The amenities are so nice, coffee and tea in the room, the welcome basket of Champagne, chocolate and nuts, the special shampoo, conditioner, toiletries, the bed and pillows are also so wonderful. Really can't think of anything to improve upon.|And the location is perfect just across from the Tuileries Gardens! When we come back to Paris we will be staying there again, we love it so much!

The staff is exceptional. We were greeted right away and were able to check in a little early, which was great after traveling. The staff told us everything we needed to know and offered to help with recommendations of where to visit while we were in town. They made sure we knew they were there to help with any concerns we might have, which made us feel good. |The hotel’s location couldn’t have been more perfect. Walking distance to so many destinations, while still being tucked away from all the noise. The room itself was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. We would absolutely stay here again.

I traveled to Paris (from the east coast US) with my daughter in February 2025 and we had the most amazing stay at Hotel La Tamise. The location is wonderful to access museums, great shopping and restaurants and also not too far of a distance from airport (about a 70 dollar taxi ride). The daily breakfast was perfect to start our day and the gentleman working in the restaurant was very pleasant and accommodating. Our room overlooked a quaint Paris street and we had floor to ceiling windows to open and enjoy the beautiful weather. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was an adequate size. The bathroom had all the amenities we needed and wonderful products. The front desk staff was very helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay. I would most definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to others.

Gorgeous French boutique hotel at the centre of everything. Excellent service too! We dropped a diamond earring on the day of our departure. The hotel found it and kept it safe for 2 months until we could have it collected. Can’t ask for better!

Great location, friendly staff and fabulous hotel. This is a great base from which to explore Paris, the Metro is 50m away and you can walk to Tuileries as well as Champs D'Elysee. Rooms very clean and quiet. We will definitely be coming back here.

The location was ideal. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I liked the smaller size & individual attention. Saleh made starting out our day the best with his friendly smile, great food & service and the best cappuccino in Paris!

The La Tamise is situated in an excellent location. The team there was exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, it was a wonderful touch to be greeted with champagne and allowed an early check-in after our lengthy flight. The atmosphere is peaceful and comforting. My husband and I just returned last night from our first trip to Paris and to say that this hotel was perfect for us, would be an understatement. I feel compelled to write an immediate review because of the wonderful experience we had. We stayed for one week and we were coming from the USA and were a little nervous about the language barrier since we only know enough French to just get by. Immediately upon arrival, Antonio was very kind and helpful to get us checked in right away. He even offered us a complimentary drink while we waited (Pro Tip: try any of the Alain Milliat juices, they are AMAZING and France-made).

The room was perfect for us. Very clean and fully stocked when we arrived. We had nice robes, France-made shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. Every single day the staff would come in and clean the room, make the bed, and make sure we had coffees and necessities stocked in the room. If we needed anything, they immediately brought it without hesitation.

Since we were very tired that first night, we opted to have the in-room breakfast service the second day and it was WONDERFUL. Very delicious and filling, and it came with all the fixings you could want at a good price.

We asked one of the staff for local restaurant recommendations and we tried two of his suggestions which were great and very affordable and local. Every time we entered or left we were kindly greeted, and all the staff members were always around and available to help and answer questions and they were very patient with us. We didn't take advantage of it, but if you need the hotel will book a taxi and reservations to places for you if you enjoy that. They even occasionally called our room directly to ask if we needed anything.

The hotel itself is just beautiful. We particularly loved having the ability to open the window up in our room and have a tv to watch things at night. The room was a perfect size for the two of us as well. There was plenty of closet space for our luggage and clothing. The rooms do not have a ceiling fan if you are used to having one, but we surprisingly adjusted very well to that. The bed was comfortable as well, a nice firm mattress.

The hotel is in the BEST location to see all the important sites. We walked everywhere from our hotel and had no trouble, including to Montmartre, Latin Quarter, and Central Paris. There are hundreds of restaurants and shops everywhere near the hotel and we didn't have any issue finding everything we needed.

We had an incredible time, better than we even hoped for, and the hotel staff absolutely contributed heavily to that experience. We will definitely re-book with this hotel when we come back, without hesitation. Every single person is so nice and attentive here. Hotel La Tamise is a MUST book.

My stay here was amazing!
I came for my birthday to enjoy a weekend in Paris and this hotel was the perfect stay.
The receptionist were very welcoming and kind. Rooms were clean and spacious. Very peaceful at night with comfortable bed. I would highly recommend!
I will definitely return to this hotel for my next trip.

フランスでホテルにチェックインするのが初めてだったので緊張しましたが、スタッフの方が丁寧で優しくてとても良かったです。

朝に着いたので、フロントに荷物を預かってもらうと、サービスでパンとコーヒーを出してくれました。
おいしくてありがたかったです。

部屋は広くはないですが、綺麗で日本にはないかわいいホテルです。
部屋にサービスのチョコレートとクッキーもあって美味しかったです。

場所はルーブル美術館の近くで歩いて行けます。
地下鉄の駅も近くて良かったです。

朝5時過ぎに出ることを伝えると了解してくれて、次の日チェックアウトもスムーズにできました。
しかもホテルの名前入りのペンをくれました。

スタッフがとてもいいホテルだなと思います。
日本人からすると少し高いですが、また泊まりたいと思うホテルです。

The stay could not be better. Exceeded all my hopes and expectations. All was very clean and quiet. The staff are excellent. When I return to Paris I will hope to stay at La Tamise because the staff was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The location is excellent. We were on the 4th floor and the elevator was welcomed.

Ideal location for many area of attraction. Small quaint for a couple looking for affordable room near the hot spot.

Staff were friendly.
Location was great, right across the park beside lourve, has a train station across the street.
Lots of food options within 10min (bakeries, French bistros, Asian food)
Hotel was clean, bed was comfy, AC/heat were great.
Wifi was strong.
Free water.
Elevator.
Water temp and pressure was great.
Overall an awesome stay.

From CDG it takes about 50min via subway, have to switch 2 times.
Or Uber for about 40min costed us around 50 euros.
