Hôtel 3 étoiles dans un quartier résidentiel idéal pour allier tourisme et tranquillité doté d'un jardin d'hiver.
La quiétude de ce quartier résidentiel à quelques minutes des Invalides, du parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles ou encore de la tour Eiffel, convient parfaitement aux personnes qui veulent allier tourisme et tranquillité. La rue du Commerce, à deux pas, est l'une des plus commerçantes de Paris. Elle est idéale pour faire du shopping et pour goûter au charme d'un repas au Café du Commerce, une brasserie qui a conservé sa décoration des années 30. L'hôtel Wallace est donc idéalement situé, il dispose d'un jardin d'hiver privatif et le personnel est accueillant. Mais cela ne fait pas tout. L'entretien des chambres laisse vraiment à désirer. C'est étonnant qu'il conserve ses trois étoiles car il aurait besoin d'une bonne rénovation.

The only small downside was the noise isolation — I could clearly hear people talking on the street below, which might be a consideration for light sleepers.
Overall, though, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider coming back!

We were booked to go and stay there for a few days but a couple days before our stay the hotel emailed and said they needed us to email them a photo of our credit card within 24 hours or they would cancel our booking. Then they cancelled our booking and we were left with nowhere to stay.
It is ridiculous to only give 24 hours to do this as not everyone checks their emails so often, especially if they are on holiday, which we were. It is also very unprofessional to ask this just a couple days before we arrive, if they had done this months ago when we had first booked it would have given us much more time to find somewhere else.
It is also completely unreasonable to ask someone to send a photo of their credit card in an email, in this age of so many scams and phish attacks. We had no way to know if the email was truly from the hotel or if it was a scam. I understand that in the past hotels may have operated like this but in this day and age there is no excuse to ask for this and no hotel has ever asked this of me before.
