Avis LE VILLAGE HOSTEL Paris

Una decepción total. No recomendaría este hotel bajo ningún concepto.

La ubicación es buena, sí, pero en Montmartre hay muchas otras opciones igual de bien situadas y con un servicio mucho mejor.

Pagamos una cantidad considerablemente superior a la media de la zona porque reservamos una “habitación superior con vistas”, tal y como aparecía en las fotos oficiales del hotel, que mostraban una estancia luminosa con bañera y vistas al Sacré-Cœur. Antes de reservar, escribimos al hotel para asegurarnos de que nos asignarían exactamente esa habitación, y nos confirmaron por email que así sería.

La realidad fue muy distinta. A nuestra llegada, el hotel resultó ser más viejo y descuidado de lo que aparentan las imágenes (aunque eso, en parte, se puede entender). Sin embargo, la habitación que nos dieron no era ni “superior” ni tenía las características anunciadas: no medía los metros indicados, no tenía bañera y las supuestas "vistas" eran desde un segundo piso.

Solicitamos una solución en recepción y también un descuento, ya que claramente no se correspondía con lo que habíamos reservado. La respuesta fue nula. Nadie se hizo cargo. Mandamos correos electrónicos, tampoco respondieron. Solo después de insistir mucho, nos cambiaron al día siguiente a una habitación algo mejor, pero tampoco era la que se había prometido: seguía sin bañer y desde luego no era la de las fotos.

Además, olvidamos una camiseta en la primera habitación durante el cambio y ha desaparecido. Estamos seguras de que la dejamos allí, ya que nos la probamos justo antes de hacer la maleta, pero nadie dio respuesta ni solución.

Para colmo, nos cobraron las tasas turísticas dos veces: una en efectivo y otra por tarjeta. Hemos comentado todo esto con el personal se limitó a decirnos que hiciéramos la reclamación que quisiéramos, que ellos no iban a solucionarlo.

Y por si fuera poco, bajo la excusa de "proteger el medio ambiente", no limpian la habitación durante tu estancia. Podemos entender que no cambien a diario las toallas o la ropa de cama, pero ni siquiera hacen la cama ni limpian un mínimo, lo cual resulta inaceptable teniendo en cuenta el precio que se paga.

Un trato totalmente indiferente, cero responsabilidad y cero profesionalidad. Hay muchos otros hoteles en Montmartre con mejor atención, más transparencia y sin estos problemas. No volveríamos ni lo recomendaríamos jamás.

Tomadura de pelo en toda regla si tu opción es coger la habitación superior por las fotos que tienen en booking. Previamente a reservarla, escribí un e-mail para asegurarme que la habitación que estaba reservando era tal cual se veía, con esas vistas, bañera en la habitación y todo super cuqui. El precio no era barato (habiendo otras opciones más baratas en la zona) siendo un hostel, pero esos "extras" fueron un capricho que queríamos tener. Sorpresa cuando llegamos y nos dan una habitación más tipo "doble" con "vistas" al pico del sagrado corazón. A pesar de tener un e-mai len el que me aseguraban que era esa habitación, el recepcionista (que poco puede hacer) nos aseguró que al día siguiente nos cambiaría de habitación y que tendríamos esa y que avisaría a su manager. Ni lo uno ni lo otro, nos subieron una planta a una habitación un poco mejor (al menos entrabas en la ducha) pero bastante lejos de ser la de la foto. Exigimos se nos cobrara como habitación doble y nos devolvieran la diferencia. La manager ni ha contestado a los e-mails y los recepcionistas solo te referían a ella que en ningún momento apareció por allí. No contentos con eso, me dejé en la primera habitación una camiseta que no ha aparecido (vaya!) y encima para más inri, las tasas que pagué el primer día en efectivo y con buena fe no guardé el ticket pensando que estaba todo ok me han vuelto a cobrar a la tarjeta porque les ha salido de las narices. He escrito a lo que por supuesto no ha contestado (a la hora de reservar bien que contestó rápidamente) Cuidado con este establecimiento. Si vas como mochilero quizá merezca la pena, las habitaciones individuales si esperas una habitación idílica con vistas te lo puedes ahorrar. Para dormir te vale cualquier otro sitio más barato en la zona. Y encima ni responden a las incidencias y te cobran extras que no vienen a cuento.

Women beware! I had asked for a woman only room, and in fact was told I have to pay extra. Fine. Well guess what, I was still placed in a coed room. The guy below my bunk was *ahem* all night. Gross! I also initially paid for breakfast in my online booking, and when I arrived was told I had to pay an extra 10€ for breakfast I had already paid for! This is a scam hostel that doesn't care about women's safety and will take every opportunity to get money from you. Book elsewhere!

Such staff. They are very friendly. It’s a good option to stay in Paris bohemian town. Thanks for your hospitality.

We just stopped by to make sure we can find it for our appointment later in the visit. It was awesome to finally see The Lourve with my own eyes. Can't wait to go next week!

Cancelled my booking without notice - even after I had chatted with them over email to solve the issue. They replied saying everything was in order but still cancelled it a month later. When I emailed again later, they said I had never been in touch. Very confusing all around. Shame, as I was looking forward to the stay.

I had paid the deposit in full and luckily that was returned.

Das Personal ist aufgestellt und freundlich. Das Einchecken ging schnell. Zimmer (4-Bett) und DU/WC sehr sauber ! Die Lage zentral, Öffis in der Nähe. Perfekt für einen Städtettrip. War schon einmal hier und bei Gelegenheit sicher wieder !

Reservé una habitación de matrimonio con bañera en la habitación y dos ventanales que daban a la avenida y cuando aparecimos por la noche nos dieron una habitación por el precio de la otra sin nada de lo que reservamos , se lo hicimos saber y nos dijeron que en ningún momento nos aseguraron de que nos guardarían ese tipo de habitación que reservamos en las fotos, tener cuidado, por el precio que se paga por la habitación que nos dieron no merece la pena hospedarse allí , nos sentimos engañadas y poco atendidas

Hotel in a perfect area, so much to see and do on the doorstep. Great view from the double room at the back and fantastic helpful staff.

Preis-Leitung sehr zu empfehlen. Vieles fußläufig erreichbar. Zwei verschiedene Metro Linien in der Nähe.

Das Frühstück ist sehr ausbaufähig. Es hab nur Croissants und Baguette mit Honig, Marmelade oder Butter.

Hilfsbereites und nettes Personal.

Falls ich nochmals nach Paris reisen sollte, werde ich wieder hier einchecken!

It was my first experience in a hostel and it was so good. The staff are so nice and kind, Alex it’s amazing guy. The woman’s room it was nice and not crowded, very clean and comfy, really worth it. :)

Room was not as advertised. Booked the "double room supérieur with view", there is in fact no view and the room had a double bed and a twin bed for no apparent reason. We checked in Sat and asked to change to a different room after seeing it, were told there's nothing they could do until the manager came in on Mon. Our visit ends on Tues so that's no help. When we did talk to someone on Mon, they offered to move us to a different room for that night but it didn't seem worth the hassle to change rooms just to leave the next day. We asked to be refunded the difference between the room we paid for and a standard room, and they gave us the run around.

Location is great, front desk staff was friendly. Next time I would stay elsewhere.

The staff here are wonderful! Very friendly, helpful and multilingual made my stay easy and very pleasant! Staff members were able to assist me with any questions I had, especially regarding directions. They were able to tell me the best, fastest, and cheapest way to get to where I wanted to go.
My favourite part of this property was the patio on the first floor. It has a view of the Sacre Cœur, comfortable couches, tables, and a railing lined with green plants. A gorgeous spot to have breakfast or a smoke break!
The room I stayed in was beautiful, with double door windows that opened to a street view below. The shower worked perfectly and I enjoyed the two different shower heads. The only things I could have used in my room was a mini-fridge and potentially a small tv, although I did not mind the lack of television. These two things were not significant enough to hinder the wonderful experience of this hotel, only suggestions. The one negative I experienced is that the room walls and floors were quite thin. Noise traveled a lot from the stairwell and neighbouring rooms.
If I were to come back to this area of Paris, I would definitely stay at this property again!
It is a very safe and good place to stay as a female solo traveler.

Un séjour agréable et une belle découverte

J’ai séjourné deux nuits dans cet hôtel avec une collègue dans le cadre d’une formation professionnelle à Paris. L’expérience a été très positive : la chambre était confortable, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la jolie vue sur la basilique depuis la terrasse. Le personnel est très accueillant et à l’écoute, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.

Mention spéciale à un réceptionniste en particulier (je n’ai pas demandé son prénom!).
Une belle adresse que je recommande sans hésitation !

У мене залишились доволі двоякі враження про це місце. Серед персоналу є привітні та зацікавлені у допомозі співробітники, але є і повна їм протилежність. Розташування в гарному місці у пішій доступності до основних цікавинок Монмартру, але якщо будете йти до хостелу вдень від станції Barbes-Rochechouart, то пройдете кілька кварталів по доволі цікавому райончику, по якому я б не радила ходити наодинці вночі. Від хостелу доволі швидко добиратись до основних туристичних пам'яток на громадському транспорті, а також близько залізнична станція Gare du Nord.
Можливо, якщо обирати індивідуальне розміщення, цей хостел є чудовою опцією. Я зупинялась у кімнаті для 4-х жінок. Бронювала проживання на 3 ночі, але змогла витримати тільки одну, та й ту майже не спала. Мені дуже не пощастило із сусідкою по ліжку знизу — вона цілу ніч або хропіла, або кашляла. І при цьому ліжко вібрувало при кожному її мікрорусі, тому спати було нереально. Це був найгірший мій досвід ночівлі у спільній кімнаті в хостелі. Ліжка трусяться при найменшому русі вашого сусіда. Ну і загалом шумоізоляція від вулиці була так собі. Ванна кімната мікроскопічного розміру. На жаль, я більше сюди ніколи не повернусь.

The view is real! This hostel has very cozy terrace with a nice view to Sacre-Coeur.
Very nice staff, clean rooms. The location is better than I thought possible, metro is very close and the steps are around the corner. Enjoy!
