The hotel is amazing! We are really disappointed that we were only able to stay for one night. From the street it looks nothing special, but inside it's warm and charming and modern, whilst maintaining its classic grandeur. With only four rooms and a suite, the level of service is very friendly and very personal. It's like being welcomed into a family. You have access to the kitchen and lounge facilities, bikes can be borrowed free of charge, and there is a wine cellar and a wine vending machine. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town centre (~20 minutes), where there are numerous places to eat. It's an easy tram ride from Saint Jean train station. Thank you for a lovely (but too brief) stay.

This hotel is first class in everyway. The service and welcome from the staff is exceptional and they make you feel like it's your home. We only stayed one night but it was by far the best hotel with regards to style, comfort, breakfast etc on our entire trip through France and Spain.

Wonderfully romantic stay in the Seiros suite! We wanted a place to relax and decompress for our last night in Bordeaux before heading home, and Maison La Course was the perfect choice. If you’re looking for a private and intimate space to share with your partner, this is the place to be. The staff, Fanny and Mathilde were both very kind and accommodating as well. We can’t wait to book here again!

Absolutely incredible stay. From the staff, to the room, to the overall space, Maison La Course has remained a top highlight of our entire trip through Europe. The Uriel room was phenomenal. The breakfast experience in the morning was beyond expectation. The public garden is only a few short steps away, as are plenty of places to eat and explore. Every member of the staff had the perfect balance of personable and knowledgeable. Will without question be back next time in Bordeaux.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Beautiful design, great service, comfy beds, no issues at all. Top 2 breakfasts at a hotel as well ( and we travel often!)

We had a lovely stay at the Maison La Course. It was centrally located and a beautiful place to relax between sightseeing and eating out. Lucie and the team were so friendly and helpful, suggesting great dinner spots, shopping and things to do. The hotel is gorgeous, breakfast was delicious, and we will definitely be back again!

Attention to detail is what sets great establishments apart from everyone else. Maison La Course cares about the details. The room and the common spaces were immaculately clean and well taken care of. The staff took great interest in making sure we had a great stay and enjoyed our time in Bordeaux. I would absolutely stay there again.

Our experience at Maison La Course was one "thee" highlights of our first European visit. After first looking at local hotels, I found this Bed & Breakfast stay and decided to take a chance since it was our delayed honeymoon, just to seek a more romantic experience. Wow, such a lucky find is the thought I left with after our 3-day visit, and wishing we stood longer. This place left us with a delightful and enchanting experience. The staff set us up with a wine tour that was AMAZING. Being well situated in the heart of Bordeaux made for an ideal location. Having secured the room on the top floor gave us private access to the rooftop pool, where we enjoyed the city views of chapels, rooftops, and moonlight experiences. Our room opened up to a class roof where the stars illuminated out nightcaps... this place ROCKS. I can only hope I get to return to Bordeaux someday soon where I will only stay here .. on the top floor!!

You will not be disappointed in this lovely boutique hotel. From the rooms that are beautiful and tastefully appointed to the curated music playing in the living area to the delightful of breakfast, La Course hits all the high notes. We ate at a local restaurant a couple blocks away, Luna, which was had delicious artful, yet affordable food. Coline arranged for our airport transfer as well. Even though we were there for a short time, we would absolutely stay again.

We stayed at Maison La Course for my 30th Birthday and were in love with every moment of our stay. The hotel is stunning, so quaint and homey with the most lovely rooms. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are so incredibly friendly and accommodating. It felt like we were staying at a good friends home. Everyone was so willing to help with recommendations, reservations, and general tips. We will forever tell everyone we know to stay at Maison La Course if they come to Bordeaux and hope to make it back ourselves someday soon. Highly recommend, you will love it here.

We were so excited to stay at Maison la Course in Bordeaux after reading about it in one of our favorite travel magazines. We booked the "best" rooftop room with its own dipping pool and couldn't wait to experience the small cozy atmosphere of a luxuryB&B, but with all the conveniences and "extras" that luxury travelers would expect. As a fluent French speaker and Francophile, I was excited for a small local hotel experience.Unfortunately, the Maison de la Course did not deliver. While the rooms were was artsy and unique, they just didn't work. In our room, the "bathroom" was a clawfooted tub within the actual bedroom (approximately 3 feet from the bed), with no curtain, and no separation from the bedroom. The handheld shower sprayed water all over the floor and walls. There were double sinks along the side of the room, and a TINY toilet room on the other opposed side of the room near the entry door. It was not an issue for us, but should be noted, that our room was up 3 flights of narrow stairs with no elevator option. The rooftop pool (just larger than a hot tub) was marginally heated (~75 degrees F) but not of much use to use in April. On the positive side, our room had the most amazing retractable roof - we could open the shutters on the entire ceiling and look at the stars all night long. A unique and wonderful feature. After winetasting, we were excited to sit on our private rooftop patio and enjoy our local wine. We asked for glasses and a corkscrew from the "come anytime, help yourself, make yourself at home" kitchen downstairs, only to be asked to pay a €15 corkage fee (???!!!) to drink wine in our own hotel room. We explained we didn't want them to serve our wine -- we were drinking it upstairs in our own room, but they said that was hotel policy. We simply refused to pay such a fee, and it put a bad taste (pun intended) in our mouth.Instead of a convivial wine/happy hour each evening, there was a little machine where you swiped a card and had to pay for each glass of wine (~€8-10 per glass). Instead of light snacks each evening, there was a kitchen table with pates and various jars and bowls of olives, etc, to share, but that you were asked to fill out a receipt for (like an honor bar) and pay for your portion(?). It was extremely uncomfortable and
unappealing, and we did not see a single guest partaking in either the kitchen snacks or the wine machine during our stay. They had a beautiful wine cellar, but we did not make use of it because there were so many wine bars in town that were more lively.Breakfast was a lovely idea - fruit salad, fresh squeezed juice, yogurt and granola, local mini pastries, etc. There were also cooked to order eggs and omelets if you wished. However, rather than asking what we would like to eat each morning, the fruit and juice and pastries were put on our table, and we noticed several tables where it was untouched and wasted. A simple "would you like fruit and juice this morning?" would have helped. The staff were very nice and accommodating overall - suggestions for dinner, help with luggage (there is a tiny dumbwaiter that was used to help get our bags up to the top floor), etc., but the overall concept of feeling "at home" did not work. The room rates were high, even for April. We absolutely loved Bordeaux, but did not love the Maison de la Course, and would not recommend it.

We went here last year in May and the hotel staff were so nice and they made us feel very welcome, just superb service! They helped us by giving really good restaurant suggestions and a map and even circled the things on where we should go. The room and the lounge felt like home and the interior design is something to be admired! They even have bikes that we could use and the breakfast was oh so so lovely!!! The check-in and check-out was so smooth. I honestly truly will forever recommend this place!!!

Stayed at Maison La Course to celebrate my wife's birthday on a city break. Stunning hotel and service in the centre of town. The staff were so friendly and helpful, making you feel at home throughout. The room and breakfast were superb and when our flight was delayed after the check-out, the team was very accommodating, allowing us to chill in the hotel living room and on hand with any recommendations for lunch, etc... We hope to visit the Maison again in the future, a wonderful place.
