A lovely hotel with a warm, welcoming staff. I won't repeat what others have said about what makes this hotel so nice, and I would return without hesitation, but I will share a few comments to keep your expectations in check. This is a small boutique hotel - more like a great 4 star, rather than a great 5 star. The little touches are nice - like a complimentary minibar with drinks with a couple of snacks, a nespresso machine with pods, and a pillow menu. The housekeeping staff were excellent and left sweet notes on our bathroom mirror :) One thing that I did not like was the added 5% on the bill at the end of the stay as gratuity for all of the staff. That 5% was over $100 for a 2 night stay. (yes, they did make me aware of this at the time of booking, but with all of the trip planning, I had forgotten). What happened is that I had forgotten and left generous tips for housekeeping during the stay. So as not to create awkwardness at the end, I paid the extra 5% but it was not a great way to end the stay. I think a hotel of this caliber should re-consider that policy and ensure that the hotel rates include all necessary expenses so there are no additions at the end.

First rate experience. Stayed 4 nights and it was great coming back to Villas Foch each day to the friendly professional staff. Excellent personalized service and good housekeeping at this small boutique hotel. Highly recommend also for its central location. Well functioning AC was a godsend in 90-100 degree heat during our stay.

Villas Foch is in the perfect location for visiting Bordeaux! We just loved the hotel— the service was exceptional, our room was perfectly appointed and the breakfast buffet was bountiful (something for everyone). Restaurant recommendations were very much appreciated and Le 1925 was a hit! Our time at this small, intimate hotel was memorable.

We spent two nights at this fabulous hotel. We’d asked for a high floor room with a bath and all was accommodated. Room 302 delivered!|Julia greeted us upon our arrival, quickly checked us in and took us to our top floor Prestige room (with a lovely bath, separate rain shower). Julia is a super friendly, positive young lady. She leaves a great first impression.||Our room was very well appointed with an assortment of tea/coffee and a mini bar which is inclusive. Very nice linens and towels and we loved the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/ body cream. At turn down, pink bath salts were left for me.||Large screen TV and a speaker if you’d like to listen to music (we did not utilize either). Black out blinds ensure the room is very dark||Nathan is also great, accommodating , warm and genuinely interested in ensuring the guests have a wonderful experience.||This is an incredibly quiet, serene villa on a lovely tree lined street. Very close to all the monuments and the old town centre.||The only negative, we didn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was nothing short of sublime. Spacious and serene, the layout offered the luxury of a separate bedroom, living room, and bathroom—each space thoughtfully designed for comfort and quiet indulgence. We appreciated the air conditioning on an exceptionally hot day in May.
But beyond the beauty of the space and the unbeatable location, what made our stay unforgettable was Xulia.
Xulia is, without a doubt, the heart of Villas Foch. Warm, radiant, and genuinely invested in her guests' experience, she went above and beyond for us—organizing exquisite wine tours through the Bordeaux countryside and arranging smooth airport transportation with a gracious ease that made it all seem effortless. She brings a personal magic to the place, the kind that turns a trip into a treasure.
Calling Xulia a gem doesn't feel like enough—she is a rare and brilliant presence, and Villas Foch is all the more special because of her.

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Lovely breakfast and very cool bar. The staff were kind and attentive. The room was spotless, and the walk in shower was amazing especially after being in older hotels with tubs. Everything was new and immaculate.

Notre sejour a parfaitement commencé par l’acceuil chaleureux de Camille. Le petit-dejeuner etait a la hauteur de nos attentes. L’un des meilleurs hotel que j’ai pu tester en France. |Le coté intimiste du lieu lui donne tout son caractere singulier et son charme à la Française. |Je remercierai egalement Mohamad pour avoir pris le tempa de s’assurer que notre sejour en amoureux se deroule à merveille.

Lovely hotel in a specular area. The room was spacious and airy with very large windows that over looked these beautiful trees. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was large, clean, and modern. ||We were greeted by a lovely staff that made sure everything we needed was sorted. Highly recommend this hotel!

This is among the top echelon of boutique hotels. Flawless service from interested and well trained staff. Comfortable rooms and a perfect location to access everything on foot or by tram. Great restaurants within easy walking distance. This is one classy little hotel. We’ll be back!

Nous avons passés un excellent week-end avec mon compagnon il y a 2 semaines. Service 5 étoiles ⭐️, room service de qualité , personnels adorable et aux petit soins. Mention spéciale à Pauliana, Duc, Romain et Nathan qui ont rendu notre séjour merveilleux ! Nous reviendrons très bientôt.

We had a wonderful three nights just before Easter with a family group of five celebrating my sister’s 60th. Service and hospitality of the reception staff was outstanding. Had a lovely family boutique vibe. Very central but without any of the city noise. I used their services to organise a vineyard trip which came with a private driver and lunch in St Emillion. A perfect day out with a wine tasting at Chateaux Franc Mayer. We didn’t experience breakfast as we only needed a coffee and a croissant so the Bar Casino on the corner was just the ticket. And the hotel’s recommendation for an informal Bistro on our first night at Le 1925 just five minutes walk away was excellent. Overall a top experience.

Villas Foch is an amazing luxury hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed to provide everything you need for your stay, but what totally sets this place apart is the staff. The staff is incredibly attentive and provides truly exceptional service. This place is deserving of its five stars!

Le staff de l’hôtel est très professionnel et attentif à notre écoute |On ne peut pas les oublier, je les cite un à un :|- à la reception: Xhulia, Spencer nous ont accueilli avec un grand sourire très tard le soir.|- Au petit Petit dejeuner: Aksana, Julie étaient à notre écoute à tout nos demandes.|- Au Bar : Romain le créateur des cocktails.|- et derrière tout ce staff Mohamad le manager qui a fait de sorte que tout notre séjour devienne un voyage mémorable !!

Everything was just done right. The staff? Super friendly, polite, and professional — Mr. Kabbani and his team are on point. They speak perfect English and French, and took care of everything without us even needing to think or ask twice.||The room/bathroom was beautiful — clean, calm, and super comfortable. The hotel interior is stunning: elegant, but still warm and relaxed. Breakfast was genuinely amazing. One morning they brought it up to the room — looked like something out of a movie.||My girlfriend mentioned it was my birthday, and literally everyone — from the late night concierge to room service — wished me happy birthday. Small things like that made the whole experience feel personal, something I rarely experienced even in the biggest hotel chains. ||They also welcomed us with a lovely gift, and gave us a very really classy one when we left. Didn’t expect that. Two gifts!||Their local recommendations were perfect — the right balance of cool and classy, nothing over the top.||As someone who travels a lot, this was honestly one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. Would absolutely recommend.||Thank you again! Anyone wanting to stay in Bordeaux, this is your place to stay!

Our experience at Villas Foch was beyond devastating. Upon arrival our credit card was mishandled by staff and fraudulently used - confirmed by the bank. Despite the “sympathy “ from the staff nothing was done. However, authorities have confirmed fraudulent transactions at this hotel.

We spent three nights at Villas Foch the last week of March 2025, and were absolutely charmed by the entire team! We flew from San Francisco to Paris overnight on Friday March 21, arrived in Paris the morning of March 22, transferred to Gare de Montparnasse and arrived at Bordeaux Gare St. Jean Saturday afternoon where we were met by our kind driver Mohammed. As you might imagine, we were exhausted from the travel and happy to see Mohammed's smiling face telling us our journey was almost over!||The transfer to Villas Foch took about 15 minutes, where we were met by Camille, a member of the concierge team, who greeted us with hot towels, offered us coffee or tea, and updated us on our plans for our stay. We were checked into our room within about 15 minutes. The room was beautiful, impeccably clean and quiet, with a bouquet of flowere and a fruit basket provided. ||While we didn't take advantage of all the amenities offered by the staff, we did enjoy breakfast on site 2 out of 3 days and very much enjoyed it. The young lady providing service in the breakfast room was helpful, friendly, and kind -- and made an excellent omelet! Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.||Finally, the location of the hotel is perfect if one wants to explore the historic center of Bordeaux on foot, as it is adjacent to Place Quinconces, a block away from the beautiful Jardin Public, perhaps a kilometer from the Palais Gallien, and an easy walk from the National Theater and Place Gambetta. It was lovely to be back in Bordeaux after more than 20 years; the next time we visit, we will stay in the Villas Foch again -- it was lovely, and the service was truly top quality -- extremely highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at Villas Foch for a week and everything about the hotel was lovely. The room we stayed in was quiet and beautifully decorated. It’s an old building that has been remodeled and everything is new and tastefully decorated. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was perfect-nice selection of fruit, pastries, yogurts and many other choices. They also made great coffee. We had drinks in the bar several nights and enjoyed that. It’s in a convenient location of Bordeaux and we walked or took the tram all over the city. I would love to come back!

Joli petit hôtel a la decoration moderne soignée, chambre decorée avec goût, salle de bains avec énorme douche, service de haut de gamme, le réceptionniste était des plus professionnel, le directeur très à l’écoute aussi, le barman très compétant dans ce joli bar ! Petit déjeuner soigné, les adresses qui nous on été données était à la hauteur de mes attentes, bref j’y retournerai à coup sûr j’ai vraiment beaucoup aimé ! Par quoi commencer tellement nous avons absolument TOUT Adoré à la Villas Foch ❤️ les filles du staff Camille et Xhulia assistées par l’équipe ont été d’une bienveillance et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle ✨l’hôtel est magnifique , de belles ondes se promènent jusque dans la chambre spacieuse et très fonctionnelle l’emplacement permet de se déplacer à pieds en ville . My fiancé and I recently stayed at Villas Foch. We had an amazing experience. This is a very classy boutique hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed and escorted to your room. The room and bathroom were beautiful , very clean , and comfortable beds and pillows. I found the size of the room comfortable. The hotel pool and sauna were amazing too to relax. The location is perfect within walking distance to everything. And the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special.

It's an excellent hotel. It has fantastic staff! Wonderful rooms,with the best hotel pillows I've ever seen. It is located on a quiet street with public transportation nearby. The breakfast is excellent, the best we have had during our three week vacation in France.
