I couldn’t be more impressed with Yndo. Our room was very comfortable, the staff were attentive and the food was outstanding. In addition, our stay coincided with the 2025 Heat Wave, where temps reached 100°F, but our room was always very comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. In particular, Analise helped serve our meal one night and she was extraordinary. Yndo is also off the beaten path but is still very close to everyting.

Déception, tel serait le résumé de notre expérience.
Certes, la chambre était spacieuse et joliment agencée. Toutefois, la robinetterie de la baignoire était défectueuse, tout comme la climatisation diminuant peu la température surchauffée des sous pentes.
Le petit déjeuner, bien que servi dans un cadre bucolique par un personnel gentil, n’est pas à la hauteur d’un établissement de ce niveau tant l’offre des mets est pauvre de diversité.
(Nous n’avons pas vu l’ombre d’un cannelé lors de notre séjour).
Enfin, à chaque sortie de l’établissement, le personnel de l’accueil nous demande notre numéro de chambre. Pour quelle raison?
Bref, essai non transformé. (Allez UBB).

This is a well run, small luxury hotel, a bit off from the centre of the city. ||Reception staff were excellent and responsive. The manager is excellent as well, and she handled everything perfectly. ||The room was a junior suite. A bit oddly shaped with insufficient space for luggage. Nevertheless it was clean and spotless and comfortable. They did not have the type of pillows I needed for my bad neck, so what did they do? They went out to buy them! Amazing. No hotel has done that for me before! ||Breakfast was lovely, though a bit limited in my view. ||All in all, a very good, well run hotel which I would not hesitate to recommend to my friends.

Had a wonderful 5 day stay at YNDO. The staff were attentive and helpful. Our “Crazy”room was spacious, with a sitting area, terrace and large bathroom. |We had breakfast twice at the hotel. Everything was fresh, lots of fruit, breads and eggs your way. We also had dinner there one night and it too was very good. White asparagus was a nice starter. We also walked to neighborhood restaurants that were recommended by the staff. |I would definitely stay here again. |You will love it.

On our current trip, my wife and I stayed in one of world's top 25 ranked hotels. Yndo was better! Staying at this hotel is like staying with attentive relatives. The staff is incredibly helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are always eager to please and treat you more like family than hotel guests. ||The room we had was very clean and modern despite being in an older building - meaning historical, not dated. What we really appreciated was our own private patio where we could sit at the end of the day and sip wine which we had bought on the day's touring of Bordeaux. ||We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night, and it was very good. The other nights we had the hotel book restaurants for us and without exception, each one was wonderful, not only in terms of the cuisine, but also in terms of the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Unlike other hotels of the world, they don't just send you to the local tourist restaurant, but they carefully research and keep tabs on the quality of the restaurants they recommend.||Frankly, we cannot say enough about the hotel and its staff. We usually visit a location only once, but in this case, the hotel alone is enough to make us want to visit Bordeaux again.

Me and my partner stayed for one night whilst travelling for a wedding.||All the staff were great, we had lunch and breakfast at the hotel which was really good.||We stayed in one of the crazy rooms, and had the biggest bath tub I have ever seen! ||I would highly recommend staying at YNDO

And the many small touches, like a Dyson hair dryer, clothes steamer, and USB chargers for multiple devices were unexpected conveniences. ||We especially enjoyed the cozy courtyard and beautiful “living room” areas, where we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks. Mornings were a treat with the included delicious breakfasts that included a wide variety of options such as fresh croissants, avocado toast, and made to order egg dishes. And the dinners, prepared in house for guests only, were also delicious. ||The Yndo’s location is ideal, situated in a quiet neighborhood yet within very easy walking distance to Bordeaux’s sites and shopping areas. ||A special mention goes to the owner, Agnès Guiot, whose care ensured our stay was nothing short of perfect. Her dedication to excellence is evident in every detail of the hotel. Nous sommes venus le weekend dernier et nous tenions à remercier toute l’équipe pour l’accueil chaleureux ainsi que le service irréprochable qu’ils nous a été offerts. Un clin d’œil tout particulier à Agnès que nous remercions pour le surclassement de notre chambre

Déçue ! Certes la chambre était très belle mais la pluie a tapé sur la verrière toute la nuit, ce n'était pas très agréable. Le prix payé d'avance sur internet a changé entre ma réservation et le jour du départ. On m'a demandé de rajouter la différence m'expliquant que je pouvais le faire...( c'était la taxe de séjour qui avait augmenté)J'ai demandé un geste commercial sur le prix de la chambre, rien à faire ! alors que la télévision ne marchait pas et qu'on m'a dérangé le matin pour me demander à quelle heure je voulais récupérer ma voiture et au final, elle n'était pas prête à l'heure convenue...le repas en room service était très bon mais manger pliée en deux sur un canapé et une table basse sans TV , ce n'est pas terrible. Un service que je ne trouve pas à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles.

Amazing hotel , great taste in art and decor . The rooms are spacious, very clean and the staff is polite and helpful. The hotel location is great too. The restaurant wasn’t to the standards of this beautiful hotel.

A neighborhood gem! We had a big, beautiful room with ample space, a huge tub, nice bathroom and bath products and a vaulted ceiling that made it feel especially spacious. It felt like our own little apartment but also as though we were staying at a fabulous friend’s fabulous home. The sitting room and breakfast room were beautiful places to hang out and have a drink, read, just relax and were beautifully decorated for Christmas…..the service was very attentive and they have a wonderful breakfast spread. For those of you into design, you’ll marvel at the paint colors, fabric choices, furnishings, overall decor…….I only wish we had more time here!

J’ai passé un très bon moment à l’hôtel Yndo, où tout est pensé pour offrir une expérience unique et raffinée. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été chaleureusement accueilli et, cerise sur le gâteau, j’ai eu la chance d’être surclassé. Merci encore.
Les chambres sont bien décorées, mêlant élégance et confort. Chaque détail, du mobilier aux petites attentions, témoigne d’un soin méticuleux et d’une véritable recherche d’excellence.
L’ambiance générale de l’hôtel est à la fois intime et luxueuse, parfaite pour se détendre tout en profitant de la beauté de Bordeaux.

The Yndo hotel is exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed our three nights there. On arrival we received a complementary upgrade to a magnificent suite. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly. The breakfasts were the best we’ve experienced in France. We stayed in the newly renovated section and the architecture and interior decorating were amazing. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It’s close to the city centre, quiet, relaxing oasis for fellow travellers.

2 nuits agréables, les chambres sont faites souvent, la réception s'occupent de monter nos commandes UberEats ce qui n'est pas forcément leur travail.
Dommage pour les photos de la chambre qui ne correspondent pas à 100% à cette dernière, nous avons également eu froid et le seul employé à qui nous avons demandé de l'aide n'a pas su nous aider pour le chauffage. Télévision trop petite pour la taille de la chambre ainsi que la distance du lit.
Espaces communs magnifiques, et service 5 étoiles, employés très agréables et toujours à disposition.
Pas loin du parfait, mais malheureusement un établissement 5 étoiles n'a pas le droit à l'erreur.

I feel very lucky to have found this hotel during my business trip when I had to quickly find a hotel to before catching an early flight the next morning. It's a charming boutique hotel tucked away from the crowd on a quiet street, but close and walking distance to all the main attractions of Bordeaux. And everyone was so nice and efficient.

Un établissement charmant, calme et à deux pas du centre-ville, nous avons passé une nuit dans cet établissement à la décoration originale et soignée.
Il est cependant vieillissant : peintures abimées, joint de la salle de bain a refaire…
Une literie très agréable mais une chambre mal insonorisée puisque nous avons été réveillés par nos voisins à 6h30 du matin qui regardaient la télévision.
C’est à la limite de l’inacceptable pour un 5 étoiles et compte tenu du prix de la chambre.
Côté accueil très mitigé à cause un réceptionniste peu concerné par notre séjour, voir presque désagréable et hautain. Nous attendions un traitement un peu plus particulier dans un hôtel 5 étoiles.

When I raised this during check-out, the owner was dismissive and showed no empathy, accountability, or even a basic apology. She offered a token compensation, but her attitude made it clear that she had no interest in addressing our concerns. The lack of professionalism and customer care was truly unacceptable—especially from a hotel claiming to offer a luxury experience.
