Absolutely charming. Spacious rooms tastefully decorated. With AC. Ideally located. Ahmed is a wonderful host, attentive to all your needs. You can clearly tell that all details have been carefully thought through. What a treat!! Can’t wait to be back.

C'est un endroit magnifique pour découvrir Bordeaux. La maison d'hôte est cachée dans le bon du terme, derrière cette porte il y a un lieu charmant qui a été restauré avec authenticité et modernité.
Merci à Kinga, notre maîtresse de maison, qui a notre séjour un Joli moment, que cela soit l'accueil, la découverte de notre chambre ou le service du petit déjeuner. Merci encore Kinga vous êtes une grande professionnelle.
Il n'y a aucun défaut.

La communication était parfaite et fluide, avant notre arrivée, pendant le séjour, et jusqu’au départ ...
Toute l'équipe a été très accueillante ! La localisation est idéale : une rue calme à deux pas des restaurants, des commerces, etc.
Une belle attention aux moindres détails, que ce soit dans la chambre ou au petit déjeuner.
Le jour de notre départ, nous devions partir très tôt, avant l'heure du petit déjeuner. Kinga nous avait préparé un petit sachet avec des viennoiseries pour la route : une délicate attention !
Franchement, nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons cet endroit vivement !

Amazing place to stay for a Bordeaux City visit. Rosa Bonheur room is immaculate, very well designed, spacious, has a high tech espresso machine and has a balcony. Room is clean, bathroom is gigantic with two sinks and a rain shower. Walkable to everywhere, amazing restaurants(highly recommend Berthus, 230F, Arcada) bars and museums are steps away. Breakfast included with stay was also amazing. Thanks to Kinga and rest of the staff keeping this place desirable.

The single best hotel experience I’ve ever had, throughout all my travels. Location is perfect. Breakfast was amazing. Add to that the level of service - from the second I entered, Kinga made me feel at home. Lots of great personalized recommendations as well! A huge thank you to the team at La Maison Fernand - you were a big part of what caused me to fall in love with Bordeaux.

Perfect place to base your Bordeaux adventures. Easy access to the river and all tourist and shopping destinations. My only suggestion would be to look for public parking before you go and have a game plan on how to reach it.

Un petit bijou en plein cœur de Bordeaux !!très bonne communication avec Kinga,qui nous a super bien accueilli et conseillé sur les visites à faire dans la ville !!les chambres sont magnifiques, cosy et super bien équipée !!l’emplacement est parfait pour visiter Bordeaux à pieds !!!

This is a lovely welcoming inn and/or b and b. We stayed for two nights in the Rose Room which was very spacious and overlooked Rue de Herbes. An incredibly huge bathroom as well. Maison Fernand is located in the heart of the City and one can walk everywhere from there. Staff is very welcoming, friendly,helpful and professional. As mentioned in other reviews, one has to be able to walk up stairs - no elevator - and be able to carry one’s luggage. Breakfast can be served on the terrace, in your room or downstairs in the dining area. Breakfast is very French: Petit dejeuner - baguette, coffee, juice, fruit and yoghurt and croissants. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

En plein cœur de Bordeaux, à deux pas de toutes les animations, des monuments historiques, des rues commerçantes et du tramway, la maison Fernand nous a accueillis dans les meilleures conditions. La chambre douillette et décorée avec beaucoup de soin est pleine d'attentions. Mais que serait cette belle maison sans ses deux sympathiques hôtesses toujours aux petits soins pour nous et dont la seule satisfaction est de vous satisfaire. Un très joli moment.

It was the only reason that you think to get back to Bordeaux again! An absolute gem boutique hotel in the heart of the city where you can access to the whole main touristic districts by walk easily!
The staff was really friendly and did their best to ensure you feel home here.

An absolute gem. Perfect location for exploring Bordeaux. Close proximity to amazing boulangeries, restaurants and shops. The rooms are beautifully designed and the breakfast was exceptional in quality and freshness. Also the welcome and service from everyone worked there was very personal and instantly felt a lot home. Merci for a wonderful stay. X

What a fabulous place to spend my husbands birthday weekend!! Perfect location, very central, that said it was extremely quiet.
Beautiful rooms with everything you could need for a perfect night's stay.
Kinga was so helpful and friendly, recommending restaurants and organising our City Passes.
We would love to come back one day!! And most definitely recommend ☺️

Exemplary experience from start to finish. We stayed here as a special treat for my 60th Birthday, we were not disappointed in any way. The location is very central but the quality if the windows meant we could shut out all outside noises and sleep incredibly well. Kinga made sure our breakfasts were perfect and was available for any queries about our room or the area.
Thank you so much team Maison Fernand for a brilliant stay! We will be back ????

Wow!!!! What a fantastic experience. We were graciously welcomed and made to feel at home immediately. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and delightful. The staff went above and beyond and organized a special day of touring for us. |There is no elevator, so one must be able to do steps. Our stay was the perfect Bordeaux stay and experience.

Das Maison Fernand liegt gleich bei der Rue Ste. Catherine an perfekter und ruhiger Lage. Unscheinbarer Eingang zu grossem Erlebnis. Extrem grosse Zimmer für ein Stadthotel, liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr persönlicher Empfang und Betreuung. Das Frühstück auf der kleinen Dachterrasse ist bei schönem Wetter (ja, auch Anfang November) allein schon von der Lokalität ein einzigartiges Erlebnis und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles hat gepasst: Kaffeemaschine und Wasser kostenlos auf dem Zimmer, grosszügiges Badzimmer, riesiges Zimmer (Le Philomène) , extreme Sauberkeit, ruhige Umgebung und in perfekter Distanz zum pulsierenden Zentrum in Bordeaux. Was kann man noch mehr wollen? Mit nur vier Zimmern hoffentlich noch lange ein Geheimtipp.

Quel bonheur! Notre visite dans la Maison Fernand était fantastique! La maison a été renové avec tellement de charme, beaucoup de details attentif et d'amour dans le confort et design! Merci beaucoup pour la communication si chaleureuse. On reviendra avec grand plaisir!
