We really enjoyed our stay at Domaine Sacret in the charming village of Aÿ. The location was perfect for visiting nearby champagne houses. Our room was spacious, with a large updated bathroom that felt modern and comfortable. The ambiance of the property is elegant yet relaxed, with a mix of classic French country charm and contemporary touches. We got to enjoy their happy hour champagne tasting one evening, which was a great bonus. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying, and the staff was warm and welcoming. Just a heads up for future guests, there is no elevator, which was a bit of a challenge since we had a lot of luggage at this point in our trip. Overall, a lovely stay and a great base for exploring the region.

Pour arriver à Aÿ-Champagne, il faut traverser les champs de vigne. C'est magnifique !

Nous avons réservé la chambre "La Théâtrale" avec son lit King Size très confortable. Odile nous a accueilli dans la cour de l'établissement. Puis nous avons eu droit à la dégustation de 3 de leur très bons champagnes maison. Il y a 4 chambres. Nous étions les seuls et la pièce commune est très agréable avec les salons, un billard et un accès illimité au bar et sans contrôle car la confiance est de rigueur. Il faut juste noter nos consommations dans un cahier. La coupe est à 6€.

Pour info le dimanche soir, presque tout est fermé (resto, bars). Il faut aller à Épernay juste à côté.

Concernant la chambre, elle est très agréable et bien décorée. Point très positif, l'eau chaude arrive instantanément. Point négatif, le luminaire au dessus de la baignoire dénote un peu par rapport à tout le reste.

Le Service et le petit déjeuner étaient fantastique. Merci Odile !

We komen terug om hier te overnachten! We hebben een tasting genoten met ondertussen ook nog een potje pool. Goede gastvrijheid. Extreem goede brut champagne. Ook de millesime is in prijs/kwaliteit uitmuntend!

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit individueller Ausstattung, ruhige Lage,
tolle Location, das Champagner Tasting war sehr gut durchgeführt. Das Abendessen war sehr gut und sehr reichlich. Freundlicher Empfang und zuvorkommender Service. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Gerne wieder.

Stayed here for one night. A great location - an enclosed courtyard with parking and a big shared balcony to enjoy your champagne on. The room was nice and we really enjoyed the complimentary champagne tasting, which was also very informative. The Domaine is just a couple of minutes' walk from some bars and boulangeries. We didn't need the latter as we booked breakfast here - a good move as it was very good and very substantial. Friendly staff with excellent communication before our visit re restaurants. A great visit (though we spent more on bottles of champagne to take home than we had intended!).

Ein kleine, feine Unterkunft, mitten im Ort gelegen.Parkmöglichkeit im Hof deswegen sehr praktisch. Der Empfang ist freundlich und familiär, was auch durch die Lounge unterstützt wird, in der man gemütlich sitzen und etwas trinken kann.Dazu steht das Sortiment des Hauses zur freien Verfügung. Abgerechnet wird auf Vertauensbasis.Am Abend findet eine nette kleine Verkostung statt.Lauréne und Odiele kümmern sich sehr freundlich um alle Gäste.Unser Zimmer entsprach genau unserer Vorstellung. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en de goede zorgen. Zeer vriendelijke mensen, de kamer was heel erg schoon en ook erg ruim. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd en alles was in veelvoud aanwezig.
De champagne proeverij hebben wij helaas gemist. Zelf maar een paar flessen aangeschaft, wat een straf????
Wij komen nog eens terug????

Beau concept de chambres d’hôtes. Petit couac lors de l’accueil que le propriétaire a tout fait pour effacer...C’est une belle image du sens du commerce et de l’accueil...le site est original et très calme.

Wonderful. A beautiful place. A fantastic room. I had exchanged e-mails prior to arrival and the responses were always: made quickly; helpful; and friendly. This was continued during our stay with both Laurene and Odile being friendly; helpful; and efficient. |The champagne tasting that is offered as part of the stay was really good too. They have an honesty bar. The breakfast was good too.|Faultless and highly recommended.

We were delighted by everything at Domaine Sacret. |The house is right in the centre of Aÿ but quiet with an interior courtyard to park in, which is great if you have a car full. |Every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Laurène who suggested (and arranged) activities and organised taxis to Épernay.|The early evening tasting of the domaine’s own champagnes was informal and fun. |Highly recommended.

Beautiful chambre d’hote rooms in a small champagne house. Good parking, very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was of a very high standard and the nightly champagne tasting a bonus. Also there was an honesty bar in the comfortable lounge. Would definitely stay again if in the area

Questo posto è semplicemente incantevole per la posizione in cui si trova, per la cordialità di chi ti accoglie e per la bellezza e ricercatezza delle sue camere. Alle 18 vi era lo champagne tasting ed abbiamo avuto il piacere di esserci per due giorni di seguito avendo soggiornato qui per appunto due notti. La nostra camera aveva la vasca in legno era spaziosa pulita e così di ricercata bellezza. Lorraine una perla di donna francese che lavorava qui da un mese ma spero ci resti per tanto tempo almeno fino al nostro ritorno perché è un tesoro e ti fa sentire davvero speciale. Grazie di tutto e speriamo di rivederci presto!

Having just returned from a month in France, we have to say that the breakfast, and service and rooms. In fact, everything here was the best we had experienced in the whole trip. The champagne tasting being was a real bonus. James is an excellent host.

I can't praise the hotel highly enough - a fantastic experience with the Champagne tasting, the platter of food and the room. A fantastic communal area with a lovely bar (great prices) and super comfortable beds in spacious rooms. The town itself is great and well worth a visit.

The reception isn't manned over night but if you contact them during the day, very useful and happy to accommodate - we hit traffic and they were really helpful.

Colazione scarsa con brioche misurate, servita in ambiente non sufficientemente riscaldato. Alle 8.30 del giorno seguente al nostro arrivo non c'era ancora nessuno al ricevimento: 3 coppie in attesa che venisse allestita la colazione. Lille intimt hotel hyggelig hotel med 4 værelser. Først det fremmet er personalet forståelse for værtskab og service enestående og med til at gøre op holdet mindeværdigt. Hotel tilbyder champagne smagning af husets champagne, hvilket er både forfriskende og med til at skabe en god dialog med personalet. Morgenmaden er rigtig god. På plus siden er Aircondition på værelserne og mulighed for sikker parkering i hotelgården. som virker dejligt rummelige. Bemærk værelserne er på 1 sal og 2 sal, og der ikke er elevator. Pris, kvalitet og oplevelse passer rigtig godt sammen. Placering i Aÿ var også et stort plus, det er en hyggelig by, der virker overskuelig. Vi tilbragte 4 nætter på hotellet.
