Excellent in every way. Sophie was very knowledgeable about the area vineyards, winemaking, the families making wines - vineyard owners and their histories. She was great at pouring & recommending wines for our tastes. She made the trip very fun for us all. Highly recommend

Wonderful day to remember, with marvellous, warm, articulate and super knowledgeable Sophie as our guide. Vincent the tour manager flexible and accommodating with our pick up and even dates (when I made a mistake). We really appreciated little cheese platter with our first winery in Vouvray, and mini charcuterie board in Chinon winery in the afternoon, which Sophie whipped out each time as a surprise. Picnic style lunch and wine tasting at a chateau in the middle of flowering meadow was a joy. Coffee in the sun at a wonderful produce farrm, purchasing their wonderful goodies, so appreciated, with geese nodding in approval. Sophie even accommodated the bellavista panoramic view of Chinon in the afternoon, since we had such a small group and were good on time. If you are booking, do check Sophie is guiding, especially for English tours, if not pick a date when she is, as she is 50% of why we found this full day wine tasting experience such a joy. Heartily recommend VinoLoire & this specific day tour.

We had a wonderful day with Aurelie in our full day wine tour. She is a wealth of information not only on wine but about the region, its history and the lives of the people who created these amazing wines.

The selection of venues was perfect. Each was different but each one evoked the passion and the love each owner had for wine making.

The assortment of foods for lunch was perfect for me. They were all unique foods that I would never find anywhere else.

Aurelie was humorous, engaging and totally knowledgeable. I cannot thank her enough for making our last day in Tours so memorable.

It was truly a special experience and a wonderful time touring the wine country and wineries with Alycea! We had Sophie as our guide, for what turned out to be a private all day tour of some Loire wineries. She was a great guide with so much knowledge. She was so patient with my elderly mother and the three of us had an excellent day!

The wineries were all amazing and the lunch was the perfect sampling of French cuisine in a beautiful outdoor setting. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

I would highly recommend Vincent and his company VinoLoire for Loire Valley food and wine related tours.

Vincent and VinoLoire were recommended to me by a guide we contracted with in Sancerre. We had asked for recommendations for an experienced wine/food guide for Vouvray and other Western Loire sites and Vincent was highly recommended.

We contracted with VinoLoire for 2 1/2 days of touring through the Blois and Tours areas. Vincent created a itinerary that matched our interests and personally guided us on 1 1/2 days of the tour.

We were picked up at our Hotels (one in Blois and one in Tours) promptly as scheduled in well appointed vehicles. We found the itineraries to be well thought out with some real gem family wineries.

One of the areas where Vincent went above and beyond what would normally be expected is that he arranged for the shipment of our wines to the US on our behalf. This allowed us to buy a range of products and Vincent later picked them up coordinated their shipment which would have been difficult for us to facilitate on our own.

The entire VinoLoire experience was great from start to finish. Great job to Vincent and his team.

Highlight of our trip to the Loire Valley! Our guide, Sophie, was so knowledgeable and passionate about wines and the area. We learned so much from her about the region, the different wines, and culture of wine making. We enjoyed generous tastings with local cheese and other snack pairings. We especially loved that the two wineries we visited were very different from one another and showcased amazing family-run and authentic wine making.

Superb private tours - half day visiting two wineries in Vouvray and Touraine; then a half day food tour followed by wonderful tasting and lunch in Bourgueil then tasting in Chinon. Exceptional in every regard. Vincent arranged an amazing two day tour for our group across the Loire. He was prompt in his initial communication, seeking to understand our preferences and knowledge of the region. We were led by the wonderful Alycea on our first day. She took us to two amazing, local family wineries that we would never have found in our own. We were hosted by one of the winery owners Louisa for lunch, who presented a delicious homemade multi-course lunch along with their wines. On day two Vincent took us through two more family-owned wineries, and stopped for lunch at a local cheese shop in Tours. We also added brief stops at several chateaus in the area. Everyone we met along the way was so lovely and accommodating. If you are visiting the Loire, book a tour with Vincent.

Absolutely first class! Our drivers were super professional and extremely knowledgeable of the Loire Valley, the wineries we visited and the Chateaus we got to tour. The history was truly amazing as well and they knew it all!
I highly recommend this company when coming to visit the Loire Valley and will use them again when we visit. Thank you Vincent and Aurielle for a fantastic adventure!

Vincent and his team are incredible, and I highly recommend them. He curated a custom tour of the Loire Valley for me and even arranged it such that they would pick us up at the train station when we arrived and drop us off at our hotel after the tour. For our second day, he offered to pick us up at our hotel so that we would not have to find our way to the pick-up spot (as we did not have a car). Alycea, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and kind -- we loved spending these days with her. The tour was arranged to give us a sense of some of the emblematic wines from the region, along with some lesser-known (in the US) appellations. We plan to go on another tour with Loire Valley Wine Tours the next time we are in France.

An exceptional tour. Our English- and French-speaking guide and driver, Alycea, was a delight. We did extensive tastings at two very different, but equally charming wineries: one in the Touraine Chenonceaux area (based in a small chateau), and one in Vouvray (based in a repurposed limestone mine). Alycea is an experienced winemaker, and as such, she not only helped us understand the subtle differences among the wines we tasted, but also gave us many insights into the agricultural, scientific, and business aspects of winemaking. Highly recommended!

Un cadeau reçu à Noël qui nous a bien fait plaisir!
Vincent a su nous embarquer dans cette découverte du chais et des vins pétillants du château de l'Aulée. Nous lui avons posé à peu près un milliard de questions et ses réponses ont toujours été adaptées à notre niveau de curiosité et de connaissances, sans chichi.
Deuxième vignoble (ou devrais-je dire "univers"): celui de la cave excentrique - mais ô combien inspirante - de Pierre Sourdais à Cravant-les-Coteaux, à deux pas de Chinon. Des vins bio qui ont su nous conquérir. Nous aurions dû compter le nombre de "Ah!" et de "oh!" que nous avons prononcés...
Je recommande donc vivement Vincent pour le choix des vignobles, sa sympathie et sa capacité à nous faire partager sa passion, non seulement du vin mais surtout de ceux qui les travaillent.

We had a wonderful tour. The morning trip was long enough and full of content. The number of wines that we tasted was surprisingly big so you will be definitely tipsy unless you skip the rounds - it's amazing value. Cheese and meats were very good. I learned much about wines. At the end I bought a bottle of a favorite wine. Definitely recommend!
