From arrival until departure nothing was too much trouble for the lovely hosts. The rooms were clean and well appointed and the pool was a welcome break from the hot sun. |The breakfast was great - the usual continental fare with a different cake every morning - all served with a smile

Great hotel - they do everything to make your stay special. Great breakfast, location, rooms and pool. The croissants and fruit for breakfast is super. Le top du top!

J’ai fait un séjour au clos D ‘Argenson . Nous avons pris la suite PECHARMANT qui est au rez-de-chaussée côté jardin, je n’ai pas bien dormi , car nous sommes au-dessus de la salle à manger.. cuisine et la ☹️ ça commence vers sept heures pour préparer le petit déjeuner. Moi qui aime dormir impossible ???? . La piscine n’est pas chauffée . le gérant n’est pas très agréable .

We stayed here for 3 nights in June, 2024. Beautifully restored house with stunning gardens and gracious staff and owners. Our room was in the garden across from the pool. The bed was comfortable with excellent linens. The toilet and shower are slightly cramped but the shower was great and they provided lovely soaps. Generous breakfasts - everything was homemade and delicious. The location in Bergerac is excellent and we could easily walk to restaurants. The only downside was the Wi-Fi which was dodgy at best and often MIA, so I deducted a point from the room rating. Overall an excellent choice of accommodation in Bergerac and we recommend it.

A beautiful house, with lush gardens in the centre of Bergerac. Our suite is very comfortable and incredibly pretty. Jean-Luc and François are lovely hosts - everything has been carefully considered with delightful results: we will certainly return to this haven in South West France.

Gorgeous old home, with modern conveniences, run by kind and generous Anne-Marie and Francois, in the heart of Bergerac. Stayed two nights in a large, lovely poolside room. Superb Bed & Breakfast. An urban haven with a swimming pool and garden provided a peaceful retreat after exploring the area. Next time we'll stay a bit longer.

Best B & B ever...can't wait to go back next year. Best hosts...can't even explain the experience, one has to stay there to walk through that front door and let go. That breakfast might make you want to move to Bergerac. A welcome beyond welcome. Do yourself a favour.

Lovely old town house, beautifully decorated and furnished. Excellent accommodation - all rooms have sitting room plus bedroom and are en-suite. |Breakfast is served in the first floor reception rooms and is excellent - fresh bread and pastries, homemade jams and yoghurt with fresh fruit, cheese and charcuterie - though no cooked options available. |Owners are welcoming and efficient hosts. |Courtyard garden with unheated swimming pool provides lovely outdoor space to relax in. Garage parking (free) at rear of property. |Good location, minutes walk from historical centre with its many restaurants.

Exceptional! Perfect and charming hosts, beautiful house and gardens and delicious breakfasts. The room was spotlessly clean, large and had air conditioning - a real bonus. Ideally situated in wonderful Bergerac with excellent restaurants.

We just spent the perfect 48 hours in Bergerac. Flights from Bournemouth, at the pool by 16:00. We had exquisite meals in restaurants recommended by the our lovely hosts and thoroughly enjoyed the stay in this outstanding B&B. We will be back asap.

Un havre de paix en plein centre de Bergerac. Un savoir faire rare, avec des hôtes qui savent rendre tout séjour un séjour inoubliable. Nous recommandons vivement le Clos d’Argençon à tous ceux qui sauront s’émerveiller comme il le faut ! Muito obrigado, nous reviendrons !

Beautiful and traditional dog friendly hotel in central Bergerac. Charming hosts who were very helpful and even allowed my wife and I to work in the lounge after check out. The pool (although cold) is a lovely area and we loved the honesty bar with a good selection of local wines. It’s beautiful both inside and out. Breakfast was fantastic and so was the service, being served what felt like endless delicious French dishes. There are also 3 parking spaces available in their locked garage. Great dinner recommendations for us with our dog. Look no further if you want a hotel in Bergerac.

Such a great place, exceeded our expectations of what a boutique guesthouse could be like. Service, décor, comfort, all to an extremely high standard. We will always remember this wonderful place and would highly recommend.

Tres jolie maison décorée et meublée avec beaucoup de goût. Plein centre-ville avec tous les avantages (proximité des commerces) sans les inconvénients (bruit).Les hôtes sont adorables et plein de sollicitude. Le jardin intérieur est tres agréable avec une jolie piscine. Des garages tres pratiques permettent un stationnement en toute sécurité. Pourquoi pas 5 étoiles ? Parceque je suis très frileux et la piscine non chauffée a 20 degrés cest pas cool. J'oubliais, le petit déjeuner est génial et mieux qu'à la maison.????
Changez rien, sauf la température de la piscine????

Where to start about this fabulous place? Our rooms were stunning, overlooked the lovely garden and pool which we enjoyed. Breakfast was sublime and served by our hosts beautifully. Can't wait to return.

Paradise in Paradise. Beautiful room and facilities, fantastic breakfast, laid back but friendly staff and guests. Sitting by the pool at dusk was perfect end to busy days. Highly recommend.
