Stayed here for 2 nights. The hacienda is in a beautiful location, stunning views and lots of land for a walk to work off the fabulous food. Jorge and his family running the hotel and restaurant were very professional and the place was very well run. The food was great and the staff were very attentive and kind. Jorge helped us find transportation and worked with us every step of the way to make our stay very memorable. The coffee tour was fantastic. Santiago was a great guide and I will now fully appreciate all the work that goes into my coffee. He is excellent, the entire tour took approx 3 hours, we did learn all about coffee ( production, washing, drying, threshing) finally it was grind, brew and taste a very fresh cup of coffee from Colombia
I would fully recommend this hacienda to anyone wanting to visit the zona cafetera.

Such a lovely and welcoming place!
All the staff made sure we were taken care off at all time. Food was excellent and the coffeetour super interesting and informative. Would love to come back.

Excelente hospitalidade, simpatia e acolhimento. Conhecemos e vimos o processo de produção do café, foi elucidativo, gostamos muito. A paisagem envolvente é linda. Recomendamos que fiquem a dormir e façam a visita do café na Fazenda. Pequeno almoço excelente efeito com muito carinho.

No hay que alarmarse por el trayecto desde Chinchina hasta la Hacienda. Una vez allí, todo cambia y es muy agradable.
El trato por parte de los anfitriones es excelente.
El desayuno y la cena muy ricos.
El tour del cafe con Santiago fue muy instructivo y ahora sabemos mas sobre el café.

Hoy almorcé y estuve haciendo el Tour en la Hacienda Guayabal, llevándome una muy grata sorpresa superando todas mis expectativas del lugar. Muy buena comida, excelente atención y una amabilidad impresionante por parte de Jorge y todas las personas, son un gran equipo. Sin duda los recomiendo y espero volver a visitar este hermoso lugar. Aprendí muchas cosas interesantes y fue un día muy especial.

We had a great stay at Hacienda El Guayabal!
The attention was really impeccable: The owners and employees were all incredibly caring and helpful. I cite: 'you are our guests and while you are here we need to take good care of you'.
Especially Pilo would anticipate any wish you may have. We also enjoyed the coffee tour with Santiago very much. And the cooking, which was at the same time simple and still imaginative and of very high quality.

Me Gusta la calidez de las personas, me hacen sentir cómodo. Cada detalle está organizado y si algo no me agrada de una vez lo solucionan. La comida es deliciosa, hay variedad y puntualidad. Los espacios son muy agradables y me ayudan a salir de la rutina. Muy agradecido. :)

J'ai contacté l'Hacienda par whatsapp le soir vers 20h et nous avons pu prendre rendez-vous pour le lendemain dans l'après-midi. Nous avons pris un bus de Manizales à Chinchina, puis un Taxi.
L'endroit est magnifique, et le tour de Café, en anglais ou espagnol, très intéressant, on apprend vraiment tout sur l'histoire et la production du café en Colombie, puis on fait une vraie dégustation. A la fin on reçoit un diplôme en souvenir et un bon jus de fruit frais.
