Excellente découverte qui nous a fait plonger dans l'histoire. Un lieu ouvert aux hôtes qui vous laisse imaginer que le château est entièrement à vous. Accueil tres sympathique, souriant avec une grande disponibilité. Excellent confort, calme (chambre Angélique).
Nous cherchions un lieu authentique, nous l avons trouvé.
Petit déjeuner excellent avec une viennoiserie de boulangerie (ce qui est très rare). Nous vous le conseillons vivement.

C’était une halte imprévue en bourgogne que nous voulions à proximité des vignes, ce fut enchanteur, le château est un véritable joyaux de la renaissance, le personnel est aux petits soins, les chambres sont magnifiques, le jardin est immense et le bain Norvégien en pleine nature, nous reviendrons avec plaisirs.

Une superbe expérience, un voyage authentique et romantique, le personnel est incroyable de gentillesse, le château est époustouflant, je recommande.

Nous avons été plongés à travers plus de 500 ans d’histoire, le château est magnifique, les chambres spacieuses et très confortables, le jacuzzi en extérieur est plus qu’appréciable, pour ceux qui veulent être dans une bulle hors du temps c’est le lieu parfait,

L’emplacement entre Beaune et Dijon permet de visiter la bourgogne et la route des grands crus le temps d’un week-end,

What a beautiful "lost place" ????

Old Castle now used as guest house...old antiques throughout home...unique experience.

Returning to this beautiful Chateau is a pleasure not to be missed.

I loved my stay at this Bed and Breakfast. The castle is full of wonderfull things to see. The grounds and garden are so nice to sit and have the charcuterie platter with champagne while watching the sunset. The host is perfect. I cannot wait to go back.

Das Schloss ist faszinierend! Es ist ein Privileg, in einem solchen Schloss zu übernachten, das an Märchen und Filme erinnert. Wir sind sehr begeistert!

Leider muss ich jedoch einen Stern für den Service abziehen. Es gab zwei junge Personen, von denen ich nicht weiß, ob sie Angestellte des Schlosses oder Kinder des Besitzers sind.

Sie schienen unerfahren zu sein und ich hatte mit beiden ein unangenehmes Moment. Sie stritten sich in meiner Gegenwart, was zu einer angespannten Atmosphäre führte. Das Gespräch mit dem jungen Mann war dadurch beeinträchtigt.

Ich hoffe, dass diese Situation in Zukunft vermieden werden kann, um die positive Erfahrung der Gäste zu gewährleisten.

Absolutely amazing place to stay in fairy tale castle. The beautiful building is full of history and lovely details, and very good service let us feel welcomed. Noemi showed us the haste and told us the history of the building and the owner’s family. We had very spacious and exceptional family room on the first floor. The view and all ambiance were truly exceptional.

We stayed at Château de Longecourt for three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Upon arrival, Noemie warmly welcomed us and gave a wonderful tour of the château, including its charming chapel and the historic wall paintings left by American soldiers during World War II.||The château is a true masterpiece of art and history, with exquisite details that make walking through it feel like stepping back in time. ||Breakfast each morning was delightful—fresh croissants, homemade jams, and delicious coffee, the perfect start to the day. ||After a day of exploring, we would bring some food back and enjoy dinner while watching the sunsets from the bridge connecting the château to the gardens. Wine, beer, and cheese and charcuterie boards were also available at any time.||As a bonus, there’s a wood-heated jacuzzi for guests, which we absolutely loved. ||We’ll definitely be returning soon! Thank you for an unforgettable stay at this beautiful château.

Für unsere Reise nach Italien suchten wie eine schöne Unterkunft . Was kann es besseres geben, als in einen Schloss zu übernachten? Es war kurz gesagt atemberaubend! Eine sehr besondere Unterkunft, in welcher man doch eher mehr als eine Nacht bleiben sollte, um alles zu erfassen. Das Schloss ist in weiten Teilen zugänglich, man hat den Eindruck, dort zu wohnen. Lizzy vom Schloss war noch die besondere weitere positive Ergänzung des ganzen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und kommen sicher wieder, diesmal dann mit Freunden.

Highlight of our trip and of my life! It’s very unique that this chateau has been run by the same family for hundreds of years, not managed by professional hoteliers or hotel chain. The books on bookshelves were like hundreds years old. The owners actually live there so it is a very real, heart warming experience.
Please do not expect a fancy toilet or anything like that. Bear in mind that you are staying in a historic building.

Soirée et nuit agréable ,cependant à cause du manque d'encadrement,digne de cet endroit .Les séjourants sont livrés à eux même .Les jeunes étudiants ont besoin d'être coachés . Les stocks sont mal géré ,pas de vin dispo sur la carte ?Et le lendemain matin pain rassis dans les corbeilles ,pas de vienoiserie ,avec pour réponse :"la boulangerie était fermée" Pour le prix ces chambres d'Hôtes sont chers ,à cause du parsonnel||Bien sur j'en informe la direction régionale de l'organisme qui supervise le Chambres d'hotel de la région .Une visite surprise s'impose .

Génial de loger dans un tel lieu ouvert au peuple!
Il y a qqch de particulier qu'il faut découvrir soi-même.
Les confitures fu petit déjeuner sont faites maison et à part le couac dû à la boulangerie fermée le lundi matin, donc service minimal pour le pain, le séjour est une réussite !

Loved our 5 night stay here. Originally built in 1190 and added to until 14th century. If you want a taste of the past, then this is your stop. Car hire to visit surrounding wine regions and towns a must .

Un hermoso castillo , digno de un cuento, con sus grandes Torres laterales, grandes jardines y bosques, su entrada colosal, su fosa de agua al rededor del Castillo, te regalan la Magia de estar en otra época

A fun and unique stay, would recommend to history lovers.

Checkin was great and the host helped with luggage and showing us to our room. He was funny and made us feel very welcome.

Room was very spacious, with comfortable bathroom. All decor is of old style and interesting. Bottled water was nice.

Experience with breakfast was poor. I waited with other guests as the reception was empty in the morning. Eventually we were shown to the dining room, which was uncleared and not restocked. I was surprised only to have baguettes left to eat in bread baskets on the table and jam to eat. There was a food table which seemed to have more variety but not replenished. A (different) host was in charge who seemed stressed and not attentive.

At first I was a bit disappointed to arrive to a somewhat crumbling exterior, inside multiple vases of dying or dead flowers and a room with a truly outdated toilet closet and metal cabinet shower. After seeing the website video and reading reviews this was not what we expected. Fortunately we were able to move to a room with a modern bath and shower, the flower vases were mostly refreshed, and things started to look up. We never met the resident Count nor the women glowingly described in reviews but a very gracious young man, Maxim, gave us a tour and made us feel at home. The staff is quite limited, check in is late at 5 pm, and once we were settled in we saw no staff except a young man who laid out the continental breakfast. (Chickens live on site but no eggs for breakfast.) The breakfast room in the old kitchen is highly atmospheric. There is no maid service, your rooms are your responsibility for making beds, refreshing water, toilet paper, etc. The rooms do not have locks on the doors, you cannot lock your room. |There is a lot of trust on the part of the owner—-the place is pretty much left open for you to wander. You can take advantage of a beautiful drawing room downstairs that is full of art, books, and music. The public areas look much like the web site photos—quite elegant. There were no swans in the moat but plenty of frogs to serenade you at dusk. |We stayed for 3 nights although most guests seemed to stay only one.| What we came to appreciate is that you are basically staying in someone’s home, (someone who is not there) at a pretty reasonable price for the historic atmosphere. |The bedrooms do vary a lot so be sure you ask for a modern bath and large bed if you are not charmed by antiquated bath facilities.|Walking around at night in the flower garden after a dinner in town was relaxing and serene—- gives one the impression that the rest of the world doesn’t matter. If you want to try out a castle stay at a reasonable price and are prepared to self service then this will be a good fit for you.Dijon is about 20 minutes away -an easy drive and a great town to visit with a well organized self guided tourist path.

We were very excited to visit Chateau de Longecourt after a very long drive from the UK! We arrived around 10-15mins before the official check-in time of 5pm & sadly didn't receive a warm greeting. We were asked to sit in the garden until 5pm! Having travelled for hundreds of miles, it wasn't the best greeting!|Thankfully, the remainder of our stay was lovely. We ordered the charcuterie in the evening which was delicious. It's not possible to order a glass of wine (only a bottle) and we didn't receive any recommendations. Having read other reviews, we did wonder if perhaps the owners were absent during our trip...|Overall, a fabulous venue, just the welcome & lack of 'management' which was missing for us

Stunning place run by wonderful people who are part of the history of this remarkable place.|We visited recently and fell in love with this place. Our little dog loves it so much that he kept running back into the castle and hiding from us, delaying our journey back! |We had superb evening walk, delicious local wine and variety of cold meat and cheeses with olives and tomatoes.|We stayed in the biggest room with a beautiful view. Very clean place and super comfy bed. Woke up to the sound of churches bells and a cockerel”s song

Rooms and grounds are open to guests, and it's like staying in a living museum.

Owners have recently put in in a hot tub which is in the ground's garden and a lovely spot to spend the evening with a drink!

Driving is recommended given the remote nature.

Breakfast was very average however.
