Most magical experience with Simon in Bora!! We were able to spot 6 mantas and were by ourselves without no other tourists. We then went outside the reef to go to the drop-offs and on our way Simon spotted dolphins. We were able to approach them safely and get in the water - incredible experience I would never forget! Simon is passionate, authentic and very knowledgeable of his island and animals in the water. We highly recommend him, this was our 2nd tour with him and each tour seems unique.

Merci à Simon pour ce moment hors du temps ! Il nous a donné l’occasion de voir : raies manta, requins (inoffensifs je suis toujours en vie), les tombants et surtout .. les dauphins ! Nous avons pu nager avec eux, et observer leur comportement très joueur. Quelle expérience !
Simon est un guide exceptionnel, respectueux du Fenua, sincère, pédagogue et authentique.
Nous recommandons vivement cette expérience.

Au top ! Simon nous a guidé en toute confiance et sans artifice vers des spots de raies léopard, une raie manta, un jardin de corail … et surtout un banc de dauphins joueurs ! En petit groupe de 4, c est top!

Nous étions un groupe de 10 personnes, enfants et adultes, et avons tous adoré la sortie snorkelling. Simon a été extrêmement sympathique, a partagé ses connaissances de l’île et de la mer avec beaucoup de plaisir et surtout a été attentifs à nos demandes et à nos questions. Il nous a emmené voir les raies mantas sur un premier spot puis a tenté d’en trouvé d’autres un peu plus loin malheureusement sans succès, la nature décide :-) Nous sommes ensuite allés sur d’autres lieux de plongée et avons pu profité de l’eau et de ses beaux poissons. Simon a été capables de nous indiquer où regarder pour repérer les poissons clowns, anémones ou autres poissons emblématiques. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent moment en sa compagnie ! Expérience inoubliable.
Très soucieux que chacun puisse être émerveillé, Simon m’a permis de vivre un des plus beaux moments de ma vie malgré mes soucis de santé. Il m’a aidée et rassurée à chaque mise à l’eau afin d’avoir la chance d’admirer 3 baleines à bosse dont un baleineau qui nous a approchés à deux reprises : merveilleux !
Superbe journée en petit comité et dans la bonne humeur. Bien mieux qu’à Moorea où c’est l’usine à gaz…
Je vous recommande vivement Simon qui exerce son travail avec passion et dans le respect de ces magnifiques créatures que je vous souhaite de rencontrer un jour.

Anyone wanting to go with this company should look at the other 1 star reviews and how the owner responds to those other reviews. It very much highlights their attitude towards the clientele.

This company was really unethical, broke laws, got too close to the humpbacks, and yelled at other boats that were doing nothing wrong.

It really was disappointing to see them become so hostile towards others, they do not own the oceans. I had heard that bora bora was like this but never in my wildest dreams would I see guides yelling at other boats.

It seemed really unsafe and dangerous how the guides were cutting people off, constantly taking videos of other boats, and harassing tourists.

The tour company seems much more interested in taking videos of other boats and yelling at other tourists than giving us the experience we were sold.

I wouldn’t travel or take a tour with them again.

Manta Rays!!! This is the company to use to do a lovely coral garden snorkel but also see Manta Rays!!! But no worries, the rays are giant and gentle and never get too close. Our guide was amazing and it was a small group with max of 6 total. Highly recommended.

Simon is a brilliant, enthusiastic respectful and fun guide! He showed us many different spots on our private 1/2 day snorkelling trip with him and he at all times had safety and respect for marine life in mind. I would highly recommend Tohora Bora Bora to anyone visiting Bora Bora - the only mistake you could make would be not to book a trip with Simon! We had an AMAZING time snorkelling with Tohora Bora Bora ! Our guide, Vincent, was super nice and patient. We learnt a lot on marine flora and fauna. Tohora has the possibility to go on spot where no other tour can go, so we saw lots of fishes in corals, but above all we saw manta rays and this was gold. I highly recommend reserving a tour with them, it's a great experience!

What an amazing experience! Thanks to Simon and his crew to learn about the great humpback whales, to spot them around Bora Bora and even to swim with them ???? We felt really safe and the boat was well equipped. All whales were treated with respect when we were around them and we enjoyed Simon’s positive mana ????Thanks again! The photo’s give a nice impression but do not justice to what we witnessed with our own eyes.

Alors Oui Simon est un sacré Personnage n’en déplaise à certains mais heureusement qu’il a ce côté « grande gueule » on ne plaisante pas avec la sécurité et ce genre d’aventure.Nous avons eu la chance de faire une sortie Whale Watching et oui il faut le savoir la patience est de rigueur … Personne ne contrôle la nature et heureusement surtout lorsque l’on fait les choses dans les règles de l’art afin de ne pas la perturber.
Après 3 heures nous nous étions résignés et pensions que ce serait pour une prochaine fois et là une baleine et son baleineau se reposaient. Mon mari a eu la chance de se mettre à l’eau pour les observer, quel émerveillement !
Superbe sortie avec une équipe très professionnelle.
Nous la recommandons vivement.

I had a truly disappointing experience with Tohora Bora Bora, and I feel compelled to share my one-star experience. If you have any respect for wildlife and responsible behavior, I strongly advise against choosing this whale watching company.

Tohora Bora Bora's complete disregard for wildlife guidelines is alarming and unacceptable. During our excursion, they consistently violated the law by approaching whales within 100 meters and traveling at unsafe speeds near these magnificent creatures. It was not only illegal but also unethical, as it poses a serious threat to the well-being of these marine giants.

Furthermore, the crew's behavior towards other boats in the lagoon and on the open ocean was nothing short of disrespectful, uncourteous, and aggressive. I was genuinely shocked by their actions. It's disheartening to witness a company that should be promoting conservation and responsible tourism instead exhibit such behavior.

The only reason I'm giving them one star is because they provided water on board and helped me get on the boat. However, this minor convenience cannot overshadow their blatant disregard for the welfare of whales and their aggressive approach towards fellow boaters. It appears that they either have no knowledge of the laws or consciously choose to break them with their reckless boat maneuvering and proximity to the whales.

They were kind to their guests but disrespectful to the whales and other boats on the water.

If you truly care about whales and value responsible and respectful wildlife encounters, please steer clear of Tohora Bora Bora. There are plenty of other companies in Bora Bora that prioritize the safety and well-being of these magnificent creatures, and I urge you to choose one of them instead. Your conscience and the whales will thank you for it.

Nous arrivons à peine de notre superbe sortie lagon avec Simon... C'était extraordinaire !!! Et le tout dans le respect de la nature et des animaux. Nous avons suivi des raies léopard, puis un couple de raies manta et même une tortue s'est invitée en bonus... On a quitté le lagon pour apercevoir une baleine et son petit, magique ! Dernière plongée et là : "oh il y a un requin, c'est normal Simon ?" Inoubliable, merci mille fois pour cette après-midi ! On recommande vivement ???? Sandrine et Jonathan

Un moment magique à la rencontre des géantes des mers. Simon accompagné de Ben nous ont fait vivre une expérience inoubliable avec un grand respect envers ces mammifères marins. Nous avons eu la chance de voir un saut magnifique, de nager avec un mâle chanteur, on a du mal à croire que c est réel tellement c est merveilleux.
Cette excursion à Bora est incontournable, de plus vous passerez un agréable moment avec Simon et Ben qui sont deux belles personnes à connaître.
