Slightly off the beaten path, so it is quiet and feels secluded. If you want crowds and cars, go 50 meters and turn the corner. The menu features regional specialties and custom creations. The wine list is spectacular, from local bargains to bank-busting superstar wines. I had resolved to skip dessert but the choices forced me to get a praline tart. No regrets. Service was that peculiar balance of being responsive while allowing privacy to the table. The courses were excellent (I had the roast chicken and I recommend it). We shall return when next in Beaune and will take a detour when in the area.

Effective restaurant with excellent food. I recommend the poultry liver for the starter. The carte of wine is amazing. It is unfortunately a bit noisy.

Is een gevestigde waarde in Beaune, met een leuke wijnkaart. Veel lokale klassiekers op de kaart. Is een beetje lawaaierig door het gewelfde plafond, maar is niet storend.

Cozy place near the central park of the city. I tried the beef Bourguignon and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly, but only the manager spoke a bit of english. The prices are a bit high but I think it was worth it. Very nice list of wines with some that are very pricey. I definitely recommend it.

Wir waren heute im „ma cuisine“ essen und hatten uns schon darauf gefreut. Leider sind wir sehr enttäuscht, da wir nicht wirklich freundlich bedient wurden. Der Herr, der uns bediente war sehr arrogant. Die junge Dame war hingegen freundlich. Das Essen war für den Preis nicht wirklich gut. Wir haben uns mehr erhofft.

A must eat (and drink…) when in Burgundy, with honest, delicious food from the best ingredients and classic cooking. Been three times (2022-24), and always wonderful.

È un wine bistrot di cucina borgognona con una interessante carta di vini con più di 20.000 etichette, con annate anche importanti e introvabili. I vini della Borgogna la fanno chiaramente da padrone. I piatti del menù sono quelli tipici locali ben eseguiti. Su tutti le escargots à la Bourguignonne, il boeuf bourguignon e il piccione arrosto. L’unica nota negativa è rappresentata da uno dei due piatti di pollo ordinato decisamente indietro con la cottura.

We were welcomed by the manager who was initially very kind. It was my first trip to the restaurant and I wanted to experience this Beaune landmark. On first inspection of the wine list I noticed prices were significantly higher than pretty much everywhere else in Burgundy we have eaten. I asked for a couple specific bottles I had heard they may have off list and was immediately rejected. Eventually I found a white and was pressured by the manager into ordering a less desirable vintage. It was a regret. Eventually the food came and it was passable but nothing to return for. I felt bad for the manager as it appeared to be just him and one other waiter working the entire space. We had some great meals in Burgundy but this wasn't one of them.

Très belle découverte. Nous avons été bien reçus. Un foie gras exceptionnel, un foie de veau avec une cuisson juste comme nous l'avions demandé, des jus et des sauces qui vous émoustillent les papilles. Merci à Monsieur Escoffier et son chef Stephane.

Le gérant (serveur)très très désagréable, pas accueillant du tout, nous a juste donné l'envie de quitter ce lieu très rapidement.Nous avons pris juste un plat et sommes allés ailleurs pour notre fin de repas, ou nous avons été beaucoup mieux accueilli et senti bien pour notre petit moment en famille.
Par contre sa collègue, une jeune fille très souriante et agréable.
Le gérant (serveur)devrait faire un point sur sa carrière, et devrait peut être rester dans son bureau.
C'est sûr je ne retournerai pas dans cet endroit et je ne le conseille surtout pas.

Pas mauvais mais déçu par les plats. Le bœuf bourguignon était bon mais trop petit en quantité et cela manquait d’un accompagnement à mon goût. La carte des vins est intéressante mais très chère et en décalage avec la cuisine proposée. Le service est efficace mais pas chaleureux et l’ont est vite expédié, allégé de +300€ pour une table de 6. Heureusement que l’on était que 3 à boire du vin. Je recommande en revanche l’adresse à Singapour avec un jeune sommelier passionné et un personnel fort sympathique.
