Had a great stay here. Excellent service, nice room and fantastic breakfast.

This is our 5th time here and always take a garden suite. Very close to Yumbo but super quiet. Beautiful boutique complex with only a few rooms where you always feel totally relaxed.

Tom, Andre, Roland and Ralf have always made us feel very special there and I can’t recommend highly enough. Stayed in larger cheaper complexes in Maspalomas which is better suited to those wanting a bit of life and “socialising”. This is not one of those places and the other guests have been really nice and it all feels rather civilised.

Just stayed in Pelican suite but Nightingale is also lovely.

We find this great value for money, especially the freshly cooked breakfast every morning!

Highly recommend and we are returning soon.

Our first time at the Birdcage - having stayed many times in the area at other hotels.
It is ideally located - in a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle but within quick and easy reach of the more hedonistic parts of the resort!!

We weren't sure what to expect, but were not disappointed. The grounds are very pretty, lovingly cared for and wonderfuly laid back and serene.
With only 9 rooms, its a very intimate stay and the staff are able to interact with everyone on a more personal level. Roland was very helpful and professional - he seemed to be able to multitask to the n'th degree! And a special thanks and mention to Ralf who was wonderfuly friendly and personable. Give that man a raise!!

The accomodation was very clean and artistic. The one slight downside for us was that our room was a little on the small side - but at the time it was the only one available, since this place is very popular! The only real disadvantage of this was the smallish shower cubicle. Next time we will hopefuly be able to book one of the larger suites.

There is a lovely pool area with jacuzzi. We didnt really make use of those facililties as sun worshipping isnt really our thing, but if it is then you can find your own little piece of heaven here.

Finally, the breakfasts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the quality was outstanding. If only all hotels could follow their example!

Price wise, Birdcage is a little more expensive than some of the other options in the area, but well worth the extra for the experience. Look forward to next time!

Resort molto ben curato, bella piscina, molto tranquillo e vicino alla vita gay, si sta nudi tranquillamente tutto il tempo, soggiorno breve ma ottimo, un grazie all'ospite che mi ha aiutato con le chiavi della stanza

Resort only men con possibilità di naturismo a bordo piscina.
È la seconda volta che decido di prenotare una stanza in questo resort e non credo che sarà l ultima.
Mi sono sempre trovato molto bene.
Ottima la posizione per la sua giusta vicinanza al Yumbo Center, parcheggi gratis, fermata autobus.
Curato in ogni dettaglio, molto pulito, lo adoro per la pace e la tranquillità che si respira.
Avendo solo 9 stanze a disposizione , è garanzia di tranquillità e riservatezza ( a volte anche piccante).
Buona la colazione e cè anche la possbilità di pranzare con un ampio menú a prezzi buoni ( simili a quelli dei ristoranti del YumboCenter).
Da tornarci sicuramente.

Das Paradies hat einen Name: Das Birdcage Resort in Playa del Ingles. Ankommen, direktes Wohlfühlen, begeistert sein.
Das liegt an Faktoren wie einer sensationellen Lage, zentral und dennoch ruhig, einer traumhaften Resort-Anlage, einem wunderbaren Pool - vor allem aber liegt es an den Machern um den perfekten Gastgeber André mit seinem motivierten Team. Die Birdcage Crew versucht nicht nur jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen, sondern einem die Wünsche von den Augen abzulesen. Toller Service, ein grandioser Gastgeber, Qualität durch und durch, Massagen top, leckere Cocktails, riesiger Kühlschrank als „Minibar“ alles mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Nach einer Woche Luxus im Paradies, einem gigantischen Frühstück, das bis 12 Uhr serviert wird, bei dem es zB eine umfangreiche Karte mit individuell, frisch zubereiteten Speisen gibt, bis zum Getränkeservice am Pool - es gibt nichts zu kritisieren- außer dass man hier keine 6 Sterne vergeben kann.
Von der Buchung, über die geräumigen Zimmer, die durchgängige Sauberkeit, die gepflegte Gartenanlage- alles ultra professionell, mit Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit gemacht. Von Herzen Danke sagen Michael und Matthias????

This is a gay men’s resort and the place to be if traveling either alone or as a couple to Playa del ingles on Gran Canaria. It’s beautifully maintained, has a lovely pool and a breakfast that's second to none. The owners are on site and couldn't be more helpful. The staff is welcoming and will attend to your every need. It's perfectly situated from Yumbo Centrum, restaurants, grocery shopping, public transport and car rentals. Most of the other guests we encountered had been coming for years; that says it all.
Update: just completed our second stay. Just as lovely as our first.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Birdcage, Maspalomas for a week in June.
Let's start with the beautiful grounds and all the lush vegetation. The grounds are beautifully maintained and tended to everyday. This beautiful oasis, round the large pool.
It is an oasis. Just 5-10 minutes from the Yumbo. The peace and tranquility, could be 100 miles away from the craziness of the Yumbo.
The rooms are lovely. I had the garden suite. Great large bed in a dedicated bedroom. The living room was well appointed with an enormous sofa. Coffee and tea making facilities with a coffee pod machine. There's a large fridge-freezer, loaded with drinks and goodies. Of course you can fill it with your own drinks, snacks, and fruit.
The bathroom has a bath, with powerful rain shower.
The rooms are magically serviced while you're having breakfast.
Pool towels are supplied. Dressing gowns and slippers supplied.
The pool area is gorgeous, with steps into it. Also a regular small pool steps at the other end.
There are wooden sun loungers with cushioned mattresses. Always enough to go around. You're never going to be cramped because of only 9 rooms.
Breakfast was always plentiful and loads of choices, with a cooked option, with eggs and bacon, omelettes, eggs cooked any way.
The staff are fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. It was great to interact with the other guests from all over the World.
Had a great week. Real R&R. Can't wait to get back there.
