Petite auberge de jeunesse colorée située dans le village qui ravira les petits budgets à Bijagua
Bien pratique, cette petite auberge de jeunesse colorée (en fait, c'est plutôt une guesthouse) située dans le village ravira les petits budgets. Ils peuvent y séjourner en dortoir, avec salle de bains commune ou dans l'une des quatre chambres doubles avec salle de bains privée. L'établissement est propre, soigné, très agréable et le propriétaire est adorable... Plus économique que ça, c'est impossible… Dommage que ce type de lieu n'existe pas dans toutes les villes du Costa Rica ! Des tours sont également proposés dont une balade nocturne.

Wonderful place to stay, the staff are super kind and helpful. The room was clean and beautifully decorated upon arrival, hot water for showers and the tap water is potable for foreigners! The staff were amazing and helped us with all our needs (local tips on where to explore, birding tips for exactly where to find tody motmot/golden-eared toucanet/etc, questions about town/travel and calling a taxi for us), even accommodating our particular needs to leave early in the morning. Nice kitchen with everything you need. We felt instantly at home! Easy to reach from Liberia by bus, we caught a bus to Upala from the Pulmitan station in Liberia and it let us off 50meters from the hostel! Hostel is walking distance to epic waterfalls, gorgeous swimming holes, canopy walkways, excellent birding/nature watching, restaurants, a brewery, a cajero/ATM, a panaderia and multiple supermarkets. I highly recommend it!

Look no further! I had the most incredible experience at this hostel run by the most welcoming and warm-hearted family. Before COVID, this place was always fully booked!
From the moment I arrived, I was treated like a member of their family, and it made my stay unforgettable. The hostel itself is cozy and charming, with clean and comfortable beds. But what truly sets this place apart is the genuine hospitality and kindness of the family who runs it. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, from local tips to delicious homemade breakfast. Staying here felt like a home away from home, and I can't recommend it enough.

A fantastic place to stay when visiting Bijagua! It's super close to all of the activities in the community and the family that runs the establishment is lovely and very friendly!

Bien placé au début de la ville, très calme. Les chambres sont très bien. Le pti dej est incroyable et très copieux.
L’accueil est très agréable et de bons conseils.
