Lodge doté de bungalows et de casa lumineux, confortables et agréablement spacieux à La Fortuna.
Certifié biodynamique par le programme Demeter (certification biologique la plus exigeante), le lodge de Steve Farrel, un Américain, est un petit nid douillet en pleine nature. Les convictions de Steve se retrouvent jusque dans l’assiette : tout provient de la finca, la ferme bio, hormis les viandes qui restent tout de même de production locale. Les bungalows et les casas sont lumineux et spacieux. Sur place, on s’adonne à quelques brasses dans la piscine et à des moments bien-être au spa. Il ne faut surtout pas manquer tous les tours proposés !

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft mit der Möglichkeit auch einige Tiere zu sehen. Wir haben ganz viele Faultiere beobachten können. Die Farmtour war super interessant und wir durften ganz viele Früchte und Gewürze vom Baum probieren. Zudem haben wir noch ein Medical Workshop also wie eine Art Kräuterkurs gemacht, was auch spannend war. Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und das Essen und die Getränke waren auch sehr gut! Kostenloses Wasser von einer Quelle gab es auf dem Zimmer!

Favorite place ever! Incredible food, amazing yoga, friendly staff, and super interesting tours. We stayed three nights and never left the property. Didn't need to! Such a relaxing, cozy gem.

The staff was helpful and nice. The place is Overpriced! The lodge is in the middle of nowhere. Uber doesn’t want to drive there. So be ready to spend extra $ for cab. Or if you want to take the tours that they offer beware that they are overpriced! We googled for the similar tours in La Fortuna and it was cheaper to take a $35 cab + tour than to take the Finca’s option. The food was delicious but nothing special. Breakfasts are good. If you’re vegan beware there are no dairy free options. Their $20 dinner buffet was really upsetting. They had a bunch of shredded cabbage, carrots & beets. Def wasn’t worth $20. The other closest place to eat is at least 40min walk or again cab. No sloths or monkeys around. If you want to see wildfire around your hotel stay in La Fortuna/ Arenal area. The pool was kinda dirty and the night we wanted to use their jacuzzi there was not enough water in there so we weren’t able to.

Finca Luna Nueva is a farm to table ecolodge using as much from our farm as possible, yes shredded veggies are offered, but so much more than that. We serve protein, salads, desserts, rice, beans, ceviches, etc. Our on-site tours are actually cheaper than the ones in La Fortuna, and we price them that way so our guests don't miss out on our story. There is so much more than the price and we noticed immediately that this was not a place suited for you and your partner. Again, we are sorry for your experience, and we will continue telling our story to those willing to be inspired by it. Pura Vida!

My family of 5 visited Luna Nuevo Lodge and Finca, and really enjoyed our visit. The lodge is a true nature experience. You are immersed and surround by beautifully jungle, native plants and lots of wild life. We saw all sorts creatures like parrots, an owl, several sloths, a peccary, and lots of Toucans. The restaurant is nicely set with a the view of nature while overlooking the pool. We didn’t do any of the tours but really enjoyed exploring the farm, the trails and the grounds. It is a good distance away from La Fortuna so you are better of with a car but totally worth it as you really feel immersed in the rainforest.

Such an amazing place. Service is great, they have amazing workshops, great for both kids and families and for couples. A must stay while you are in Costa Rica
