Un hôtel très bien situé pour partir découvrir à pied les châteaux de Louis II.
Situé au pied des châteaux royaux, à quelques pas du merveilleux lac Alpsee, l'Hotel Müller jouit d'un emplacement phénoménal : à mi-chemin entre Neuschwanstein et Hohenschwangau. C'est une bonne adresse pour plonger dans l'univers fascinant de Louis II de Bavière, et un très bon point de départ pour une randonnée (circuit en boucle) de 15 km via l'Autriche (Schluxen) et Füssen (Ziegelwies et la chute de Lech). Les chambres sont confortables et certaines disposent d'un balcon avec vue (fantastique naturellement quand il donne sur le versant des montagnes !).

One of the highlights of the hotel is their made-to-order breakfast, a delicious way to start the day before heading out sightseeing or otherwise enjoying the surroundings.
The rooms were well-maintained and everything from the bed to the bathroom was pristine.
One aspect that really impressed me was the front desk staff. They arranged castle tour tickets for us. Just ask at check in and they will have them for you the next morning.
As for transportation, getting to the castle was easy. Either walk, take the bus, or a horse and carriage ride. Just a heads-up, the horse and carriage only accepts cash. Unfortunately, the hotel's ATM was out of order during our stay, but there was one located close to the ticket booth.
Also, I recommend making the short drive to Füssen. It's a charming spot with little shops, good food, and great views of the mountains.
Pro tip: take a pretzel from breakfast and enjoy it with a view of the castle
